"If you keep this up, I'll never pass this horrible math test," you laughed as eunwoo started pulling you closer to him, his hand trailing up your red oversize shirt.

Maybe it was a mistake to wear short shorts.

"Hmm," he hummed as his finger creased your cheek, leaning to kiss your soft lips. He stopped midway as your phone started to ring. You both sighed as you bent over the bed to grab your phone.

"That song is starting to annoy me," he said throwing his pencil down on his notebook as you answered.

"Namjoon, hey," you said annoyingly.

Namjoon has started to be less and less fun every week, getting a bit too overprotective, always hovering, and worried 24/7. As much as it annoys you, you couldn't blame him, he's your only family, you worry for him as much. But unlike him, you don't cock block.

"Yes, I'm on my way," you said causing eunwoo to run his hands through his hair as you hung up.

"I have to go home, I didn't realize that it passed nine," you said grabbing your books as you kissed his cheek, standing up, walking towards the door.

"Okay, baby, see you tomorrow," he waved as you closed his front door.

"Hey!" Namjoon yelled from the driver seat, as you got in. "You know, he could have taken me home," you coughed.

Namjoon turned towards you, his eyes wide as you catch on, laughing, "No, not like that!"

"He better not, there's no way I'm letting him get my little sister," he said turning his signal light as he took an unexpected turn.

"Where are we going, Oppa?"

"I have something to tell you."

Oh no.

"Don't worry me, what is it?"

Namjoon sighs, "I have to go to aunt yeonkyo's."

Aunt Yeonkyos?

Your mind started wandering places, she recently has stopped calling which was very unusual for her, she made it a habit to check up on you and Namjoon ever since...

"What's wrong?" Your voice was shaky.

Namjoon shook his head, "I-"

"I don't know, I'm not sure for certain," he cleared his throat.

"I don't understand," you said. You didn't, it didn't help that he wasn't making sense.

"Look, I have to go out of town for a bit," he said as I started to recognize the familiar road.

"Why can't I go?"

"You have school-"

"I don't care about school!"

"Y/n, please... please just stay here, It's easier if you don't come."

In other words, so you won't distract me, you thought as you fumble with your backpack.

You shook your head as Namjoon pulled into the parking lot of the too-familiar house. It might as well be your second home.

"Come on," Namjoon grabbed your hand guiding you like a small child.

It's been weeks since you guys been here but it still feels like home.

"Hey." She said.

"Hey," Namjoon said shaking her hand as we walked in.

"What are you doing here, Jihyo?" Namjoon asked her as she placed some papers in her bag.

Her pale complexion, to her- short, yes, but a beautiful statue, unlike you who was way much shorter than her, barely got out of your acne phase but even still you didn't look as beautiful as her. You were always jealous of her looks and—

"I was just leaving, I was dropping off Aecha," she said with Namjoon shaking his head.

"So you can go to your boyfriend I suppose?"

"Screw you!" She said placing her bag back on the table.

Oh boy.

"I'm going to the restroom," you raised your hand trying to get their attention but they continued going off on each other, "okay then," you hissed walking down the hall.

Ahem, restroom. You walked towards the door, right as you turned the handle he walked out, with damp hair and only a towel tied around his waist, the vapor of the restroom escaping the room as you step backward.

You gulped as your eyes trailed down his wet toned chest as he closed the door catching your attention back at his eyes.

He has a slight smirk on his face as you gulped closing your eyes, walking back to the living room.

"You know what let's not talk about it," Jihyo said grabbing her bag as you stood next to your brother.

She finally acknowledging your existence. "Oh, hey, long time no see," she smiled. Even if her smile is fake, she's still so pretty. I'm jealous.

"How old are you now? Sixteen right?"

"Seventeen."

"Oh yeah, I'm sorry," her hand waved around in embarrassment while Namjoon laughed at her humiliation.

"Hey!" You all turned your attention, he's clothed now... nooooo...

"Jungkook," Namjoon said pushing you aside as he ran towards his best friend.

"Men," Jihyo shook her head, walking towards the door.

"Jk!"

"Huh," he said as Jihyo blew him a kiss.

Sad.

Jungkook gave a slight smile as she walked out. "I'm glad you guys made it in one peace, especially with your driving," Jungkook teased Namjoon.

"Oh, shut up."

You took a seat on the island table across the living room as Jungkook and Namjoon talked.

The Jeon's have always been like you and Namjoon's second family your whole life and even more so over the last year. Your brother was unprepared to be your guardian. But having seven guardians at the same time was more than enough to last you a lifetime, especially when one was already a father.

"Okay, understand," You turn seeing Jungkook hug Namjoon as they started walking towards you causing you to jump off the table almost landing on your knees.

"Y/n," You looked up at your brother who pulled you into a hug. "What's wrong?"

"You're going to be staying with Jungkook for a while, as I'll drive up to seogu," he said.

"What, what about my clothes? My stuff?"

"We can go pick it up, tomorrow," Jungkook said.

"Wait, you're leaving right now?"

Namjoon wasn't a Cryer. But you could tell he was trying to be strong. He's always been trying. "I have to, I only have a few days before I have to come back to work."

You frown as he pulled you into a hug. "I love you," he said as you squeezed him. He's leaving and you couldn't help but be scared.

"I promise, I'll try and come back soon," he pulled away as you nodded holding back your tears.

He didn't want to go, he didn't want to leave you alone, but he knew Jungkook would take care of you.

"Umm, so your room is still the same as it was when you guys lived here," Jungkook said getting your attention from the door.

You nodded as he grabbed your bag following you upstairs to the main hall. You entered your old room, Jungkook placed your backpack down, walking out.

You smiled as you grabbed the green sewed doll from the bed. "I was looking for you," you creased the doll.

"Here, these should be fine until tomorrow," You turned around placing your doll back on the bed as Jungkook handed you a few pairs of his shirts and sweatpants. "Thanks."

He stood there awkwardly as you placed the clothes back on the bed. "Umm, dinner should be soon, unless you already ate?"

"No, I'll be down in a second," you said as Jungkook nodded closing the door as he left.

You grabbed the black shirt pulling it over your body. It was honestly quite comfortable, grabbing the sweatpants pulling them over you laughed, these are too big.

You felt like a child in the clothes, you shook your head taking the pants off, you looked in the mirror across the bed, at least my underwear is black?

You made your way downstairs to Jungkook setting up the table all too quiet.

"Can I help?"

"Thank you, the cups are right in that cabinet," he pointed at the top shelf, you nodded taking two cups out from the cupboard.

As you made your way back to the table, your breath hitched as you almost tripped on a pink ball on the floor sending the glass shattering below you.

"Shit," you heard Jungkook murmur under his breathe as a cry was heard.

That's why he was being quiet.

You squeezed your eyes shut in embarrassment. "It's okay, go," you said as Jungkook ran down the hall.

Well done klutz.

You grabbed the sweeper that was underneath the cabinet as you bent over scooping the broken shards from the floor. I'm such an idiot.

"False alarm," Jungkook said as he stood behind you.

"Oh, thank God," you said, "Where is the trash can?" You said trying to scoop the last remaining shards.

"Jungkook?"

Your cheeks flushed as you remembered that you're only wearing his shirt and those damn black lace panties, which must be in whole display.

You stood straightening your back as he just stood there clearing his throat. "Umm, I got it," he said grabbing the sweeper dumping the glass in the trash can.

"I'm sorry, for the cups," you pulled your shirt down.

"It's fine," he said grabbing more cups from the shelf. You took a seat, noticing the plate sets were next to each other, great.

"Fried rice?"

"Your favorite, right?" Jungkook questioned as he placed the glass of water in front of you, taking a seat next to you.

He's much broader than you remember.

"Thank you," you smiled taking a bite.

He smiled as he followed your lead. You let out a slight laugh, taking a sip of your water as you remembered the familiar taste. "What?" Jungkook questioned.

"Is this from the take-out place down 4th street?"

He smiled as he tried to swallow his food.

Caught!

"Okay, yes, I'm sorry, I'm still learning how to cook," he laughed as you shook your head. Cute.

"Was kinda hoping you would be impressed," he smiled.

"I am," you laughed.
