~ Lunar Eclipse ~

~ Anne's POV ~
I fell onto the grass, which was recently cut, and quickly got up to dust my trousers off. Apparation was the best way of traveling for me, but I always ended up getting my clothing dirty. I looked up to reveal The Burrow in all its glory. It was difficult to see, as it was nearly midnight. I had come early at Ginny and Hermione's request. I picked up my trunk and before I could even knock on the door Ginny opened it up and squeezed me tight, causing me to drop what I was holding, as I couldn't currently breathe.
"Ginny, let the girl breathe, for Merlin's sake." Hermione said, rolling her eyes and walking off, which caused Ginny to let go of her death grip on me.
"Hello to you too, Hermione." I said sarcastically, walking in and shutting the door behind us.
"Hello, Anne." She said and sat down at the close end of the table which had books, parchment, quills, and plates of cookies on it.
I sat down and pulled out my notebook, which had ideas for the bookstore written down. Hermione and I were planning on opening one, we just hadn't got any ideas for it yet. We all discussed names and soon came up with 'Lunar Eclipse'. It would have a dark purple and blue, cozy theme to it.
We talked for about half an hour before we heard footsteps coming from the stairs, and after a few moments of silence, Fred revealed himself, and of course, he had to be shirtless. I stared him up and down and felt my face get hot before he interrupted my thought process.
"Might as well take a picture, Ritford, it'll last longer." He said grabbing a cookie off of Ginny's plate.
"Oh, piss off, Weasley." I said and rolled my eyes.
"Feisty as always, I see. Have a goodnight, girls" He said, taking a bite of his cookie and running back up the stairs.
"Why can't you two ever get along, Anne?" Hermione asked me.
"Yeah, you've always seem to have hated each other, since day one." Ginny said with a worried look.
I sighed and gave in, "First day of first year, the day after both of my parents were killed by-" I paused for a moment before continuing, and Hermione put a reassuring hand on my shoulder, "Voldemort. I was in the worst mood that day, which was self explanatory, and Fred poured paint over my head that day and continued to prank me for weeks. I tried continuously to stop him but he kept doing it, telling me that it was just a joke. I really have tried to be friends with him, Ginny, I promise." I let a tear roll down my cheek.
I never talked about my parents since first year, it really got to me when I tried, too. Ginny understood me and stopped me before I was a sobbing mess.
"I believe you, Anne. I never realised that. I could try and talk some sense into him if you'd like-"
"No that's okay. If he wanted to be friends with me he would, wouldn't he?" I reassured myself.
Little did I know, Fred heard every word we had said.
"That'd be the last of the boxes, boys, thank you for helping. Everyone should apparate back, it's just about supper time. You know how Molly gets when you're late." I said chuckling and Harry, Ron, George, Hermione, Ginny, and Bill all filed out of the bookstore, but Fred stayed behind.
I walked over and pulled a book out of one of the boxes and dusted it off, and began reading it.
"Can we talk?" Fred asked me and I turned around to see him still there.
"Uh, sure." I said and I sat the book back inside the box and leaned against a shelf, looking at my feet.
"I don't hate you." He said, and I looked up at him.
"What do you mean?" I asked, and walked over to a wall and leaned against it, crossing my arms.
"I never hated you," He took a step closer to me, "when we were at Hogwarts."
"Then why'd you pull pranks on me every chance you got?" I asked and he took another step towards me before answering.
"I guess I didn't want to admit my feelings for you." and that caught my attention
"You heard me." He was right in front of me now, barely enough room to breath.
"And why didn't you just tell me that you did?"
"What would you have said in response?" He tilted his head and his words made me blush like mad.
"Are you flustered at me?" He asked while smirking.
"N-no." my breath hitched and I looked away from him.
"You can do whatever you want to right now, Anne." I looked back up at him and he continued "What ever happens is in your hands." I looked away again.
He leaned in closer and I felt his warm breath on me as he used his hand to turn my head towards him, and our noses were practically touching. Everytime I took a shaky breath I could smell his scent of fireworks and cinnamon. His other hand made it to my waist and I was about to lean in before the shop door opened. Fred quickly backed up from me and I straightened my stance.
"Are you guys coming? Mum is worried about you." Ginny said as she looked between us two.
"Yeah we're coming now, sorry." Fred looked back at me and then walked out of the door past Ginny and she gave me a confused glare.
"What was that about, Anne?" Ginny walked over to me and crossed her arms.
"N-nothing. I'll um, tell you later." She patted me on the shoulder before we both walked outside and apparated back for supper.
"Come on just admit it, you fancy him! I walked in and you were all red in the face and couldn't breathe, just tell us what happened." Luckily I had put a silencing charm on Ginny's bedroom before she decided to go ranting about this.
Hermione by now was extremely suspicious. She had tried every thing in the book to get me to spit it, and I was overly stubborn.
"Fine, I fancy him, but what's wrong with that? We're adults, can I not do what I want?" I plopped myself onto one of the beds and stared at them.
"I'm not saying you can't." Ginny opened a window in her room in case of a letter coming by.
"I just don't want you to get shagged on the table where customers are going to be checking out their books." Hermione added
"Oh, shut up, why would he shag me." I stood up, dug out one of the sweaters Molly made me, which was darker purple with a gold 'A' on it, out of my trunk and slipped it on over my tank top and shorts.
Hermione scoffed, rolled her eyes, and threw herself under her bed covers.
Ginny's eyes went wide and she crossed her arms, "Have you seen yourself since the summer after 7th year? If I wasn't engaged to Harry I would be all over you." Which made me let out a stifled laugh.
"Same goes here!" Hermione said with a drowsy voice before snoring very loudly in a deep sleep, making us burst into laughter.
"I'm going to go sleep on the couch so you can get a bed to yourself and I can get some beauty sleep with nobody kicking me in the ass over and over again." I grabbed a pillow and a blanket and walked downstairs to set up my place on the couch after we said our good nights.
I walk down the stairs and lay the pillow and blanket down, and I get myself a glass of water. I turned around to walk over to the couch to see Fred there. Of course he was shirtless again but it's not like I was complaining about it.
"Why are you sleeping down here, darling?" He questioned whils looking at the pillow and blanket on the couch, and shivers went down my spine at the nickname he had called me.
"I um- your sister kicks, that's all." I backed up and set my glass on the counter and turned around to see myself face to face with him again.
"How does he move so fast?" I thought to myself and gulped.
He put his hand under my sweater and on my waist, pushing me into the counter behind me.
"If we do anything, you can't tell anybody, you know that right?" He leaned in and whispered into my ear, I felt his hot breath on my neck which made me let out a small gasp, and I nodded in response.
He pushed his head back to face me and pulled my hips into his before he kissed me softly on the lips.
A/N: don't worry, she's getting some in the next chapter ;)
