Rushing down the stairs of the old cottage you fixed the pearl colored mini dress the blue and green embroiders adding a elegant touch. "Y/N where are you going!" Your aunt yelled from the kitchen while your grey kitten prowled into the living room watching as you dug through the built up clutter on the couch. "The bakery I'm late for work! I cant find my basket." You huffed listening to the gentle sound of her laughter.

Walking into the living room your aunt gave you a smile the light brown basket in her hand filled with your belongings and a small box of freshly baked rolls. "I already told Taishiro that you would be running late don't worry, now be careful out there and be back in time for supper I'm making stew tonight." She said kissing your cheek her cherry red lipstick leaving a mark.

"I will!" You yelled running out the door down the pathway through the village waving at the friendly faces. Hair blowing in the wind you made your way to the bakery on the northern side of the village opening the blue door. Waving at the elderly man reading his book you walked into the back placing down your basket reaching for your apron hanging on the wall.

"Good morning Y/N!" Taishiro shouted from the oven pulling out a tray of freshly baked scones sitting them on the yellow counter tops taking off his oven mits. "Good morning sir, sorry I was late I over slept." You said with a sigh pulling your hair into a ponytail washing your hands your golden charm bracelets clinking against each other.

Walking over to the fridge you pulled out a tray of eggs sitting them down while you scavenged them fridge for more ingredients to make the lemon tarts you promised to have out by noon. Cracking the eggs into the large wooden bowl you tossed the shells into the trash walking over to the pantry picking up the sack of flour with a humph.

Baking has always been your talent even as a little girl you had always loved to help your aunt bake treats for the neighbors, from the bread rolls to the wedding cakes she would serve to local couples. Your aunt was your best friend and she lived in that same cottage her whole life. Nothing changed she still kept the small pond in the back next to her crops with the old raggedy swing that would always creak late at night while you tried to sleep.

Squeezing the lemon juice into the mixture you grabbed your whisk stirring the filling until it became smooth and creamy. "What are you cooking?" A customer asked from across the country sniffing the air hungrily. "Lemon tarts they'll be done in about an hour if you'd like some." You hummed scooping the filling with your finger frowning your face.

Too much lemon way too much.

Eyes focused on the clear blue skies the young blonde rested his head in his hand his chain bracelets cold against his cheeks, listening to his parents talk about his future was so boring. From the second he was born it was like he had his whole life planned out for him, he would get married at the age of 24 birth a son by the age of 30 and rule the kingdom til his son finds a proper bride.

But who wants their whole life planned out for them?

He certainly did not. He wasn't really fond of his options, they were all very beautiful women but none of them were the one for him. "Kaminari are you even listening to me?" His mother snapped snatching him by the dark blue collar on his shirt. Looking his mother in the eyes she let him go adjust his crown as the carriage bumped steadily across the road.

"Yes mother I was...I promise I won't electrocute the next bride." Denki said sarcastically a cheeky grin plastered across his face. His mother scoffed smacking her hand onto her face turning to her husband giving him a pleading look. "Look boy you're approaching the age of marriage, it's time you find a wife and prepare to grow up, there's a lovely lady in the kingdom of Tethocis who I think would be perfect for you." He boomed startling the driver.

Denki raised an eyebrow pondering on the idea, "Or I can just live my life like a normal human and fall in love with someone who I want to be with!" He suggested sticking his head out the window as the carriage rode into the village waving at his people. Blowing kisses at the swooning women and men Denki smiled enjoying the busy crowd.

"You know the drill Kaminari, no running away from the guards and try not to get into any trouble while me and your father attend this meeting." His mother pleaded not even noticing how Denki had already climbed out the carriage and was down the street his two bodyguards running behind him.

Strolling down the street the blonde stuck his hands in his pockets toying with the golden stop watch looking around at the shops for anything he would like. "Hmm? How come she left me with you two? where are Sero and Kirishima?" Denki asked the two older guards much more serious than his usual. "They went on a hunt remember, they'll be back next week." One said coldly. With a sigh Denki pushed past them looking around.

They were no fun at all.

Sniffing the air the scent of fresh baked goods surrounded him, mouth watering he looked around listening to his growling stomach. Perfect timing. Spotting a group of kids munching away on the yellow treats. "Hey! Where'd you get those?" He yelled the kids freezing in place in shock that a royal was speaking to them. "The bakery your highness! It's down the road you won't miss it." The oldest boy said earning a high five from Denki.

"Thank you boy!" He yelled running away from his guards down the path following the scent stopping at the small building in front of him. The white building sat perfectly in between a armor shop and a daycare, it was so weird a soft homey place like this next to well a store for soldiers.

Sniffing the tulips in the window he pulled open the door slipping inside looking around at the paintings on the wall while he walked up to the counter. He looked over into the kitchen noticing the two workers hurrying to finish the batch of goods.

The male looked much older about 29 maybe? He was a blonde just like Denki but it was more of an ash blonde compared to Denki's golden locks. He wore a yellow button up shirt and black slacks dirty from all the flour he's been in. "Y/N check the brownies for me!" The man yelled catching Denki's attention. He knew he recognized him, that was Taishiro Toyomitsu one of the best chefs in the kingdom of Wendlyn. He served many dishes at the royal balls and events the royal family had hosted.

So who was that girl?

Taishiro didn't have a daughter from what he knew and even if he did it definitely wasn't her. They looked nothing alike. Her butter bronze skin was as smooth as a baby while her black hair hung down her back. She was kind of cute to be honest her little figure tripping around the kitchen smudges of cream and flour across her cheeks. Her plump lips parting with a sigh of relief while her golden locket dangled over her breast. She was like a walking piece of art, how she carried herself well and how elegantly she made her way across the kitchen.

Finally finishing her dish she carried the tray of tarts to the display case filling it up swiftly looking up at Kaminari mouth falling open.

Why the hell was the prince of fucking Wendly in front of you? In your fucking job?! Mouth wide open you blinked quickly wiping your face embarrassed by how dirty you looked curtsying tripping over your white buckle ups. He chuckled giving you a slight bow resting his head on the counter. "Your highness it's such an honor that you decided to come here." You beamed trying to hide how your body was burning and bubbling more embarrassed than you've ever been in your whole life.

"I smelt lemon tarts and I had to try one." He joked flashing his pearly white teeth at you. He was heaven sent his angelic aura made the room beam with happiness and comfort. He was rather charming his blonde hair all messy hanging in his face while his black eyeliner made his eyes stand out more than ever.

You never saw the prince in person but you always imagined him to be some cold hearted royal snob but he was actually the complete opposite. He was cheerful and exciting doing little tricks with his quirk to entertain the bystanders. He smelt like expensive cologne and shampoo his scent haunting your nostrils as you handed him a small plate of five lemon tarts.

"Hm so what's your name?" He asked you sitting in the blue wooden chair adjusting himself biting into the treat letting out a satisfied hum. "Oh! My name is Y/N, Y/N Fawn." You choked out still nervous on if he likes your food. "Fawn? That's a cute last name. I'm sure you already know my name but I'm Denki, Denki Kaminari." He said wiping the lemon filling from his lips.

"This is really delicious Y/N, I should come by more often I get a pretty baker and good treats." He teased making your cheeks blush while you poured him a cup of hot tea. "Oh!" You hid your face completely flustered as the blonde noticed the guards walking up to the doors.

Realizing his time here was up he stood up finishing his food faster than a blink of an eye. Taking your hand in his he planted his lips against it leaving a soft kiss on the back of your hand.

"Until next time my lady." He said smiling rushing out the door without another word.
