it being a hot day in musutafu, it was no surprise that many citizens were out and about, using the hot weather as a chance to hang around in restaurants and cafes.

one specific cafe was bustling with customers, which was a good thing. the cafe is getting more recognition, which means the workers get more money, right?

wrong.

rio murata hated when the cafe was busy. one, it meant that there were more customers, which meant there was more of a chance for people from her school to see her.

two, she just didn't like the job.

if someone as stubborn as her had to be obedient and submissive for others? yeah, she hated it.

nonetheless, rio needed money, and they were hiring, so she applied for the job.

"get out there! the customers are asking for you!" her manager yelled, pushing her out the door.

rio huffed. she hated being a favorite among the customers. that's what happens when you're such a good actor.

walking over to one of the tables with a smile, she looked down at the customer. "hello master! is there anything you need?" rio noticed the way the customer started breathing heavily, and she soon regretted even caring slightly.

"are you okay, master? you're breathing quite hard are you're sweating as well." the customer grabbed rios hand, placing it on his lap, and that's when she knew.

"why don't we find a nice quiet room, angel?" he thrusted his hips up against her hand, and rio had to resist the urge to vomit.

pulling her hand away, disgust evident on her face, she cleared her throat. "i'm sorry master! the private rooms are for vip members, only. if you get the membership, then we can reconsider!" she smiled widely at him.

"if that is all, i have other customers to serve. enjoy the rest of your meal, master!" she bowed, quickly leaving the table.

"god, what the fuck was that?" she grumbled, wanting to throw up.

"did another customer try to harass you again?" one of her coworkers and good friend, keke, asked.

all she could do was nod. rio knew that if she let her anger get the better of her, she'd be fired.

patting her head, keke smiled. "you're doing great though! i need you to bring this to the customer sitting at table four, then you can go home."

"fine," grabbing the tray of food from her hand, rio exited the back of the cafe, making her way to table four.

"here's your food master." she bowed, but when she stood up, her eyes widened as she took in the sight of the familiar half and half boy.

"todoroki!?"
