When i was born, My parents signed a will in order to get a loan to keep our home, See my family is in debt due to my dad's parents. When My grandparents passed away they left so much unpaid debt, it was passed to my parents later on when they got married. Mind you they were already suffering in their own debt. They tried to get a loan at the bank but because they had so much debt the bank could not accept them.
My mom was Pregnant of my brother at the time, so my dad had to make a choice. He decided make a deal with one of the wealthy known families in the country, how did he even get the chance to bestow himself in front of a rich man when his ass was on the verge of homelessness you ask? his job. He was the assistant to the COO known as Chief Operations Officer, My dad was mistreated so bad and got payed the bare minimal. He overheard that the COO was having his own struggles.
The COO was given a seated spot for a arranged marriage offer he couldn't reject that would bring his daughter and one of the Wealthy most know families sons to marry, but COO didn't want that for his daughter he already made a agreement with the Chairman, COO's daughter would marry the Chairman's son. He would gain stocks and shares, making more money for him. COO knew he couldn't reject. Once your given a spot you cannot deny the spot, but he could pass on his arranged marriage ticket offer to someone, and decided to give it to my father since no one was willing take it, In exchange for a loan of money to pay off debt. He thought that was a smart plan...it was he got the money and we still have our home but that only added more debt, because he still has to pay COO back.
The arrange marriage ticket, is for The social event called "Match Maker", which honestly speaks for itself. You can only get if your ticket is picked in a handpicked lottery or have the money to buy your child in, which COO did have and my now my dad has. Match Make is a 2 day event. I have 2 days to arrange a marriage contract with someone.
Once I turn 18, which I already am I will have to make or accept arranged marriage contracts at Match Maker.
I hate it so much. I don't want a arranged marriage. I want to marry for love, Not just to be stable in life. I don't want to be a stay at home wife. i want to explore and work for myself not a man. The only reason i'm doing this is for my parents, i want to take them out of debt they deserve so much more in life and also i can't reject the ticket offer. A deal is a deal with my father.
After a contract is signed, it is obligated to unenroll out of school or job you currently have. It's my last year in high school, i was really looking forward to it.
let me enjoy my last day of living a normal life at least...
