"BTS very own Kim Taehyung was spotted with Idol Kang mi-rah...are they a thing? Will it be confirmed? Are the rumors true?"
I hear in the early morning coming from the TV in the living room as i'm walking down stairs. "What is all the hype around this? Serious do people not have lives?" I thought to my self in a bit of annoyance.
"Rose" my mother calls from the kitchen.
"Coming" i respond walking towards her voice.
"Here's your fruits. Did you hear the news today?" mom asked as she slides the bowl across the counter towards me.
"thank you, You too ma? Your into this type of gossip." i replied leaning on the counter.
"It's the most trending topic in the world right now."she responded.
Seriously, I mentally face palmed.
"Aren't you excited? The Matchmaker event is here. This weekend?" She questioned.
Oh shoot it's Thursday already.
"I mean sure, you can say that, Although i think everything is hitting me today." i say. As i finish up my sentence my mom turns to me with a look of concern.
"My love, i know i haven't given you a proper speech yet with everything going on with the both of us but let me give you at least a word of wisdom, their is nothing you should be afraid of, being nervous is 100% okay, it's normal. if anything you should be excited. If you choose by a decent man, you'll be given a sliver spoon bonus." she said looking me in the eyes while i give her a stern look.
We both go silent for a few seconds.
She sighs "Look Rose...okay maybe i worded that wrong. You've worked extremely hard at being the kind of women you want to be, being hard on yourself, learning adequate, educating yourself in studies, mannerism and many other more. And now you are of the girls that seek a marriage with someone decent hopefully. Seek this as a opportunity. We are enough to be stable but i'm not sure how much we can hang on since i father is not doing so well...Your father would be so proud of how much you overcome in life, you know that. He loves you and would want what's best for you and so do i." she stated looking at me with eyes of reassurance.
"Thank you mom, although i don't say this much i really appreciate everything you've done for me, and always looking out for me, i feel a little better. I Guess this is a whole new chapter in life for me... that really scares me. I'm scared of what lies every minute, but i'm relief" i responded removing myself from our hug.
"It's time for me to leave, i don't want to be late to school i want to at least enjoy my last day in school and have a normal day what ever that even means." We both chuckled.
"BYE MOM SEE YOU LATER" i yelled as i headed toward the front entrance door waving bye.
"BYE SWEETHEART TRY TO ENJOY TODAY" She exclaimed back at me waving as well.
i nodded and head out.
And with that My last day as a student and a normal life ends today within hours...
I Get to my Locker to clean it out before first period starts.
As i'm empty out my locker i see a polaroid of Me and Mingi fall out so i pick it up "Wow i never thought i might miss a locker" i thought to my self, smiling to at the picture. I take off my phone case to place the polaroid on it.
i hear my name being screamed loudly as i'm finishing up my cleaning my locker.
i quickly turn my head to the other side of the locker scared to see who's on the other side only to see my best friend Mingi behind my locker.
"Mingi" i semi whisper yell her name. I hit her shoulder.
"OUCH WHY DID YOU DO THAT" she exclaimed at me.
"YOU SCARED ME! my stomach literally dropped to my ass when you said that. I thought you were someone else" i said as she just laughed.
"That's not a ladylike word to use Ms. Byeol" she reply causing me to chuckle at her remark.
"But how have you been, we haven't had the chance to sit down and talk for a while. Are you feeling alright though?" she asked concerned.
I take a deep breath.
"Honestly Min...NO. Everything is happening so fast it's too much to intake. i just want everything to be alright, My family is on the line and i don't want to fuck it up" i respond .
"Rose...it's okay don't worry, everything is going to work out in your favor that's why your bestie Min is here to support you and cheer you up, let's make most of your last day here a good memory, Let's hang after school like old times alright?" she said giving me a big tight hug.
i nodded.
"Ugh What would i do without Min, your such a savior." i said releasing from our hug smiling at her.
"Rose come one, it's time to head to class." Min says yanking my wrist dragging me to class.
"okay..WOAH Min when did you gain strength." I laughed
The school bell rings...My last normal day is really over, that fast?
I get up from my desk taking my bag with me out the door.
"Rose over here" i hear across from me as i'm walking down the wall, i stop and turn around to see Min waving .
"Min" i say in her direction loud enough for her to hear my response well
"You ready?" i say excitingly.

"Let's go"she starts skipping cutely towards me as she's reaching where i'm at.
"Oh wait let me text mom first i forgot to tell her i'm going out with you after school, don't want her to say something when i get home especially today." i say

Mingi and Rose decided to spend both of their time together getting ice cream and talking in their favorite venting spot in the park Near Rose's house just like old times.
"It's been a while huh Rose?" Mingi said to me while eating her ice cream on the other side of the picnic table across from me.
"Ahh it really has been" I respond eating my ice cream as well.
"Wow so many memories made here, I can't believe we were 12 when we found out about this playground." I said reminiscing.
"We grew up here, the last time we came here we were what like...16 and now where both 18. Time does fly, Remember i had my first mental breakdown here under the slide because it was raining and thundering and i thought i was gonna get electrocuted" Min stated while pointing at the spot under the slide where we used to hide.
"PLEASE YOU HAD BOOGERS RUNNING DOWN YOUR NOSE" i exclaimed.
We both giggled as we stood up.
"BYE LEAVE ME ALONE" Mingi said.
We both get up to throw our trash away, and start walking towards the swings. As were positioning our seat getting ready to swing, Min asked me a question.
"Rose do you really want to do this?" she said.
"Do you mean Match Maker?" i say.
She nods.
"No...but This is for my family. I've been preparing as much as I hate it, My dad loves this and be so proud of me. I get to help my family, My other side of my family won't do it." i continue.
"Rose, but you won't be marrying for love...You love the idea of love and starting your own family..having mini you roaming around the house. Your a walking hopeless romantic." she replied her hand on my shoulder.
"Yes i know, But this is for me and my family, They need me. I'll find love and create a family someday, I'm still young. I will not lose my track to be successful over a man." i replied looking at her fiercely.
"Rose...Gosh i just want to hit you sometimes why can't you just think about yourself for once? Your always sacrificing yourself needs for someone else i just don't want you to marry someone you don't love and live life very unhappy...you deserve everything in life, especially everything you've been through. I can't help it, you worry me sometimes." she said pinching my cheeks out of love.
I smiled and hugged tightly.
"It's okay Min, truly theirs nothing that the universe throws that i can't handl-" i was just about to finish my sentence when a phone rang.
I felt a vibration in my back pocket.
oh it's my phone i realize.
As I step back i give Min a look telling her i'm gonna take the phone call. She nods.
I look at the caller id, It's my mom?
"Hello, Mom?" i say in a question tone as i answer the phone.
"Rose" she said.
"Yes" i replied.
"Can you come home now." she said nervously.
"But it's you said-" i get cut off by her response.
"Now" i hear as she grunting her teeth through the phone.
"Oh okay, i'll be there in a few" i replied.
She hung up the Phone.
Why does she want me home?
"Min i'm so sorry but i have to leave" i say i a sadden tone.
"already?" Min replied.
"Yea duty calls" i say sarcastically.
We hug each other so tight, knowing it might be our last time seeing each other until quite some time. i finally back a way.
"Your going to make me cry stop" i say as i'm fanning my watery eyes.
"Me too bitch, i'm gonna miss you" Min says as tear falls.
I chuckle as i wipe her tear off.
"We have to stop being dramatic gosh,This isn't a goodbye forever. here i almost forgot. take this" Min take a bracelet out of my pocket.
"We both have the same ones." Min says while putting it on my wrist.
"In memory of me, whenever you get sad hold this the bracelet to your chest and fell my love and support from a distance, i'll always be with you." she emotionally states.
"Your so cheesy, i love it. Here i thought i was the romantic one" i say smiling.
i start walking away.
"Get home safe Min, also take care." i start walking away throwing her kisses from far away.
"You too Rose, You got this." Min Replies.
And with that Rose heads home to what's awaiting her...
