"WAKE UP!" I yell at Ashlee, who was currently asleep in the passenger seat beside me.

She jumps and stares at me confused.

"DONT YELL I WAS SLEEPING!" She growls and takes a sip of my coffee from the cup holder.

I sigh "We're here hoe."

"Really?!" She says excitedly and sits up. I pull up in front of a modern looking apartment complex in Tokyo.

"Woah, it's better than I expected...." I mumble and look at it through the front windshield.

Me,Ashlee, Atsumu, Osamu, Bokuto, and Akaashi all chipped in a bought a penthouse somewhere in Tokyo. It was about 200k. 6 bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms. I thought it would some sketchy apartment but the building was elegant. Floor to ceiling windows and extremely tall. The moon glistened against the windows.

I park in the residential parking lot. I turn off the car and step out onto the pavement.

"Damn, it's really nice Ash." I say and smile.

Ashlee looks at me and I look back, a small blush covers her cheeks.

"Idiot what did you expect?"
"A dump."
"So negative y/n chan."

I shake my head and laugh. I walk over to the trunk and pull out our suitcases and backpacks. Ashlee takes her pink suitcase and white backpack. I grab my purple one and slip on my navy blue backpack. I swiftly close the trunk and begin walking towards the buildings entrance. The doors slide open automatically and we step into an elegant lobby. The couches were white cotton and the chandeliers shone brightly . Small trees and flowers were spread out throughout the lobby. And on one wall was a mini waterfall. I stare in awe as I take everything in.

"Cmon let's get into the elevator!" Ashlee says excitedly.

She shoves me into an elevator and presses the highest number, 70.

"FLOOR 70!?" I say alarmed.

"Yeah, that's where penthouses are usually located. The highest floor..." She says and grins.

The elevator had windows and you could see the buildings get lower as the elevator ascended. I grip the handles tightly and close my eyes. I was terribly afraid of heights. This was not helping. Nor was the fact that Ashlee began jumping to scary me.

"HOLY SHIT ASHLEE YOU ASSHOLE!" I cry, she laughs. The elevator dings and the doors open. Yet a door is right their once they open. Ashlee uses keycard and unlocks the door. The door slides open and we step out the elevator. I sigh in relief as we step into the penthouse and the door closes behind us. I open my eyes and gasp.

"OKAY. BUT HOW THE FUCK DID JUST 200K SCORE US THIS?"

"Your parents chipped in dumbass. Along with mine. Both of my parents are lawyers." Ashlee deadpans and shakes her head.

"So mean Ashlee-chan" I pout. She laughs and hugs me.

I hug back and hum in delight. I close my eyes and relax.

"HEY HEY HEY!" I hear someone yell along with a door opening. I hear Ashlee scream and I jump.

Bokuto walks in with only grey swim trunks that loosely hung from his hips. His hair was down and wet. He abs prominently in view and was dripping water onto the floor.

"B-BOKUTO-KUN! YOU ARE TO HOT RIGHT NOW GO AWAY IM GOING TO GET A NOSEBLEED!" Ashlee screams and covers her eyes.

"BOKUTO YOU ARE GETTING WATER EVERYWHERE YOU DUMBASS!" I yell and run at him. He laughs and hops into he pool. I gasp and as I see the Tokyo skyline from the pool. And also how high up we are with limited railing.

"Bokuto this is dangerous..." I mumble.

"Hey y/n chan," I hear someone say.

I look down and see Akaashi chilling in the pool with a cup of orange juice. He stood up and walked towards the edge of the pool and hugged my legs. I shiver as his wet torso makes contact with my exposed legs. My black skirt swayed in the soft summer breeze. I look down into his turquoise eyes that stare back up into my e/c ones. His hair was wet and I could slightly see his abs. I blush out of embarrassment.

"Anyways, Y/n chan do you know when Atsumu and Osamu are coming?" Bokuto asks with a smirk and Akaashi pulls away and sinks back into the pool.

"Erm I believe later tonight. They said they had to meet up with someone quickly." I say.

I begin to walk away to unpack.

"Y/n chan can you come back and swim with us?" Akaashi asks.

"U-um sure?" I mumble and go back inside. My legs still slightly wet from him hugging me. Ashlee had taken her things and had gone to claim her room. I take my things and walk down the hallway. I see a door that was open and peak inside.

The room was vacant, so I slip in and close the door behind me. I sigh and drop my things on the floor.

"Now I have to unpack....."

30 minutes later......

I smile and proudly look at my room. I unpacked my personal belongings and had slipped on a black two piece. I tie my h/c into a high pony and pull out a few strands front the front. I step out of my room and close the door behind me. I walk down the hallways and hear music playing. I step into the living room, Ashlee is laughing and talking with Bokuto by the kitchen island in their bathing suits and Akaashi is in the pool leaning against the edge. Eyes closed and head tilted back. I walk towards the pool and slowly step in. The water is slightly warm as I submerged the parts of my body from the waist down.

"Hey," Akaashi mumbles.

"We're you sleeping? In the pool!" I ask and put my hands on my hips.

His eyes flutter open and land on my figure. He stares at me wide eyed, mouth slightly ajar.

"My eyes are up here Akaashi." I deadpan and point at my eyes.

"S-sorry that was inappropriate..." he says and stares at the water.

I chuckle and go to take a seat next to him. I put the rest of my body in so from shoulders up are the only things above water. I put my head on his shoulder and relax. He was warm.

"W-what are you doing y/n...?" Akaashi stutters when I placed my hand on his thigh.

"Getting comfortable. Is their a problem?" I say lowly.

I feel him tense.

"You're tense. Relax, I don't bite." I say and laugh.

He lets out a nervous laugh and I feel his eyes on me.

What am I doing?

Shit. This feels wrong.

I like Akaashi but I cant stop thinking about....

Him.

"Shit sorry this is wrong..." I say and get up. I begin to lift myself out of the pool but a hand grabs my wrist.

"W-wait, I didn't mind..." Akaashi mumbles.

"No it's not that, it's just I'm not ready yet." I respond and pull myself out of his grasp and out of the pool.

"Not ready to move on?"

"Yeah-"

"He treated horribly. I wouldn't be like that." Akaashi deadpans.

My eyes widen at his sudden words, sharp, meant to hit hard.

"Akaashi-"

"Keiji. Call me by my first name."

I look him in the eyes, unable to turn away.

Why doesn't she understand? I like her more than a friend. Yet she doesn't trust me. Fucking Suna. He messed everything up. I liked her before she even lost the weight and acne. She is a beautiful woman inside and out.

She stares into my eyes and I felt myself blush. Her e/c speak millions of words. Confusion. Embarrassment. Nervousness. Understanding. Hurt. Sadness. But possibly, lust?

"D-don't mention him..." she mumbles and wraps her arms around herself. A habit of hers, whenever she feels embarrassed or uncomfortable she wraps her arms around her torso.

I sigh "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought him up."

"It's fine, just don't do it again." She says and stands up straight.

"I promise." I respond.

"Good. Well, goodnight Keiji." She smiles and walks back inside.

I couldn't help but sneak a glance at her ass. I mean, she practically strutted out, swaying her hips sexily.

Fuck what are you doing to me?

BEEP BEEP BEEP

I groan as my phone buzzes aggressively on my nightstand. I open my eyes and lean over the nightstand and press 'Stop'. I sigh and flop back down.

"First day of university..." I mumble and roll out of bed.

I quickly fix my bed and stumble over to the bathroom.

I hop into the shower and brush my teeth. I dry myself and apply all my products. I quickly brush my hair and leave it loose and put on a simple outfit.

I grab my black jansport backpack and walk down the hallway. The smell of eggs and bacon frying flood my senses. I hear light chatter as I get closer to the main area.

I walk out and see everyone eating breakfast and drinking coffee.

"Hey y/n!" Osamu smiles.

Everyone greets me and I greet them back.

"Your food is on the counter y/n" Ashlee says as she puts on lipgloss.

I nod and begin eating scrambled eggs and bacon. I finish and grab a banana and a pre-made pb & j.

"Well I'm gonna go now, anyone want a ride to university?" I ask and put on my backpack.

"ME!" Ashlee, Bokuto, and Atsumu yell. They hop up and grab their bags.

"Alright let's go, since Osamu and Keiji are going to go last minute probably." I snicker and press the elevator button.

We wait for the elevator to come up then open the door and step into the elevator.

10 MINUTES LATER

"I WANT TO SIT NEXT TO Y/N CHAN!" Ashlee whisper yells in the giant auditorium.

For the first years, we had an orientation before our classes of the day. We decided to sit in the middle section.

"NO I WANT TO!" Atsumu growls.

"NO! I WANT TO SIT NEXT TO ASHLEE. STOP TRYING TO STEAL MY BESTIE Y/N CHAN!" Bokuto pouts.

My eyes widen "Your bestie?" I question in a low voice dangerously.

Bokuto hides behind Ashlee "AshAsh creepy woman is scaring me! Protect me!" He cries.

We laugh at Bokuto's reaction.

"Fine. Atsumu sit to the right of me. Ashlee to my left and Bokuto next to Ashlee. Save the two seats in front of us for Osamu and Keiji. They said they would be here in 5 minutes." I sigh and take a seat.

Everyone nods and sits down where I told them too. Atsumu places his bag on one of the seats in front of us and I place mine in the other.

"I'm gonna go get some fresh air before orientation. I'll be back in 5." I say and get up.

"Ok" they say in unison as I walk out the auditorium and into the lobby. I see the entrance to the stairs and walk through it.

I walk up 5 flights of stairs and out onto the roof. The September breeze causes my hair to flow behind me. I walk towards the roof railing and lean against it. I could see the Skytree and many buildings in Tokyo. I hum in delight. I sigh and look around the roof. I see a small forest like garden and approach it. Decent size trees surrounded the area. A small path is made from fake stone. I walk down it and see a small water fountain and a few benches. There, sat a guy with brown hair and a black sweater with baggy blue jeans. I freeze as the guys pulls out a blunt from his pocket and goes to light it.

It's him.

"Suna?" I ask. I clench my fists at my sides and hold my breath. The breeze causes the leaves to rustle.

The guy turns around and I make eye contact to the familiar greenish yellow eyes. Red and puffy, as if he has been crying. He looked rough. He stares at me wide eyed.

"Y-y/n?"

"It's l/n to you." I deadpan, he wasn't going to step all over me. Not again.

He smiles. A toothy smile.

"You've changed. In a good way." He says and looks away. Putting away the blunt.

"Yeah. Thanks to you I guess." I say and cross my arms around my torso.

He stands up and approaches me. He drops to his knees and looks down.

"I'm sorry. So sorry l/n. I'm sorry ,I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry-"

I place a hand on top of his head.

"You made me feel this small compared to you. So stay down their for a second. And realize your place." I say sternly.

He noticeably tenses.

"Wait no. Shit I'm sorry." I say and frantically go to pull away my hand. His hand wraps around my wrist and places it back on his head.

"No. Don't lie about how you feel." He says.

I stare at him shocked. This felt wrong. I drop down to his level to look him in the eye. Yet he stares at the floor. I stick a finger under his chin and left up his head to look me in the eye.

"Why? Why were you like that?" I ask. The wind blows my hair to the side.

"B-because, of someone from my past. I know it doesn't justify it but it traumatized me." Teras begin to roll down his cheeks.

I felt my blood boil.

Why is he acting like the victim?

"You look so handsome when you cry." I smirk.

He stares at me wide eyed. Shocked.I let out a fake giggle and stand up.

"Don't lie to me. It won't get you anywhere." I deadpan and turn around, walking away.

I felt his eyes on my figure as I walked away. I clench my fists and walk towards the stairs entrance. I open the door and close it behind me. I run down the stairs and into auditorium. I jog back to my seat and sit down. I sigh.

"Where were you?" Ashlee whispers curiously.

"Roof." I whisper back.

No I was just talking to my toxic ex that I haven't seen in months that I can't seem to get over.

"Oh okay, you made it on time. Your bag in on the floor in front you. Osamu and Akaashi made it." She whispers back and leans back into her chair.

I nod and lean back into mine. I steal a glance at the entrance and see Suna walk in and take a seat a few rows in front of us. Alone.

"Oh my god is that Suna?" Ashlee whispers loud enough for our group to here and points at the back of his head.

"Holy shit it is...." Osamu mumbles.

Everyone in our group stares at him.

"He is not relevant anymore. Ignore him." I say and lean back into my seat.

"Orientation is starting, focus on that instead of him." I say seriously and look ahead.

Everyone calms down and leans back into their seat as Orientation begins.

The clouds began to grow gray as the two people found each other once again. Neither one of their feelings faded. Placing them on the same ship. And this ship has set sail. Straight into the incoming storm.
