"I still can't believe you're getting married..." Ashlee laughs softly.
"Me either, the last thing I expected in life was me being a infamous plastic surgeon marrying an D1 volleyball player named Suna Rinatro." I chuckle.
"Guess life throws crazy curve balls, ya know. I still can't believe I'm part of AKB48." She mumbles.
"Your music is a bop tho..." I say.
"Wah thank you! I've recommended you to many artist! So expect new clients next month!" She smiles.
"Aw you don't have too Ashlee. Anyways, how is Osamu?" I ask.
Her and Osamu had been dating for awhile. Osamu opened up a business called Ongiri Miya. It had received a lot of attention due to his relationship with Ashlee.
"Great honestly, I'm hoping he asks the special question Suna asked you a month ago!" She sighs.
"He probably will after this!" I pat her back.
"I think it's time," Ashlee says.
She was gonna be the one walking me down the aisle, since my father went MIA when I was younger.
We link arms and push open the brown doors. My white gown dragging a bit on the red carpet underneath me. Flower petals littered the walkway towards the alter. Suna stood there, in his suit. Osamu, Atsumu, and Bokuto on his side. Kiyoko and Yachi stood on my side. Suna's eyes lit up when he saw me, his mouth slightly ajar. The aisle were filled with highschool friends, college friends, family, and friends of friends. We reach the front and Ashlee walks over to the rest of the bridesmaids. I stood next to the priest who stood between me and Suna.
Suna smiles at me, and I smile back. Everyone stands up.
"Welcome, everyone. Friends and family who have traveled to be with Y/n L/n and Rintaro Suna today: we thank you for being here to share this special day. You may be seated." The priest says.
"Y/n L/n and Rintaro Suna love is the force that brings us all here today. In fact, love is the force behind much of what we do every day. Whether making a meal for our family, taking time to teach our children, or lending a listening ear to a friend—even in the mundane, commonplace routines, love is always the reason. We are all here to support Y/n L/n and Rintaro Suna on their first day as husband and wife. As you go into married life, remember the reason: the reason you get up each morning, get ready, do your best in the world, and look forward to coming home. Remember the reason you sacrifice, the reason you give, and the reason you laugh. The reason you are legally becoming a family. Y/n L/n, let Rintaro Suna represent love. And Rintaro Suna, let Y/n L/n represent love. This mutual love stays strong as long as you both invest in and cherish it. This love is alive: it is active, dynamic, and powerful. Cling to it during good times and bad. All marriages have ups and downs—if you will make a habit of returning to your "reason," you will find the strength to choose each other in every moment, in every place, and at all times. A strong and lasting marriage is built on love, trust, and respect." The priest continues.
"To truly love, you must both enter your life together with vulnerability. To truly trust, you must, in good faith, allow for freedom and autonomy. To truly respect, you must consciously treat your partner with reverence. Y/n L/n and Rintaro Suna cherish one another. Never stop doing the small things that convey respect and trust. Hold doors, write notes, listen and strive to understand. Let kindness and tenderness be the rule, not the exception. Remember that you're both on the same team. Together you will fight demons, defeat enemies, build a life, and forge a bond that is greater than the sum of its parts." The priest says turns to me and Suna.
"Now, Rintaro Suna do you, of your own free will, take Y/n L/n, as your lawful, wedded wife, to love, protect, and defend as long as you both shall live?"
"I do." Suna says immediately.
"Now, Y/n L/n, do you, of your own free will, take Rintaro Suna as your lawful, wedded husband, to love, protect, and defend—as long as you both shall live?"
"Do you Rintaro Suna vow to place Y/n L/n above all others, before all others, and stand true and unmovable in your support for her through good times and bad?"
"Do you Y/n L/n, vow to place Rintaro Suna above all others, before all others, and stand true and unmovable in your support for him through good times and bad?"
"You may now exchange rings."
Suna reaches out and takes my hand, slipping the ring over my finger. I take his ring and slip it over his finger.
"With these public promises and vows, and the symbolic exchange of wedding bands, I now pronounce you, by the power vested in me by the Universal Life Church of Japan husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride"
Suna smiles brightly and places his hands on my hips and leans in. He places his soft lips on mine. He pulls away with a a light blush covering his cheeks. My heart flutters and I smile at him.
"The audience will please stand and congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Suna!"
The audience stands up and claps, cheers and whistles echo throughout the church. I never felt more happy in my life.
Suna takes my hand in his and we walk down the middle of the church towards the front doors. We exit the church and enter a limousine outside the church which drove us to the afterparty.
As we enter the limousine, people wave at us as they enter their cars. We begin to drive away towards the club. I sigh in relief.
"Mrs. Suna," Rin says.
"Hm?" I ask.
I turn towards him and see him lean in.he places his lips on mine and kisses me passionately before pulling away.
"I'm glad you're the one I married." He smiles.
"Stop you're making me cry," I say and fan my face.
It was struggle to keep the tears in. He wraps his arms around me and hugs me tightly.
"I love you so much," he says.
"I love you too," I say and kiss his forehead.
"I'm excited for our honeymoon," he says.
"Me too, Costa Rica sounds really fun," I sigh.
"Yeah, and then I can have you all to myself," he smirks.
"You idiot!" I say and slap his head softly.
"You're idiot," he snorts.
I roll my eyes and hug him. We stay in each other's arms as we drive towards the afterparty.
