1. Letter of acceptance
The mirror’s image, it tells me it’s home time
But I’m not finished, ’cause you’re not by my side
And as I arrived I thought I saw you leavin’, carryin’ your shoes Decided that once again I was just dreamin’ of bumpin’ into you
Now it’s three in the mornin’ and I’m tryin’ to change your mind
Left you multiple missed calls and to my message, you reply
“Why’d you only call me when you’re hig-
RING RING-
I pause my music as I hear the doorbell go.
Probably post.
I sigh and huff as I run downstairs to go grab it since I was home alone. When I reach for the letter something about it was different. Not brown and boring like the letters my parents always got. It was inviting and exciting. It was a warm beige colour folded I hope the it was for me. I look down at it and i see a red wax seal holding the letter close.
Wax seal? was it the 1800′s. But this kind of cool. I really hope it’s mine.
Despite the fact I never get post. A part of me still hoped.
I turned to see who it was for and ... it was for me.

Wtf !! witchcraft and wizardry. This has to be a prank. No way. I am a witch. And Ms Granger? My last name is Lee.
I jump as the door opens and my parents walk through the door. They smile at me. I look up at them with a confused look on my face, Their smiles drop as soon as they see what i was reading. My mum takes the letter from me gently and looks at my dad then back to me.
" I think we should sit down and talk in the living room” My mum said as she looked at me in worry. She lead me into the living room and sat me down beside her. I looked at her for answers but deep down I know what she would say next would change my life as I knew it. They the words came...
" you are adopted, Mandy”. She said softly crying a little as my dad sat in his chair looking at me with guilt.
“w-why didn’t you tell me sooner mum” I said looking up at her. She seemed very surprised I didn’t scream or shout at them for not telling me but to be honest I always sort of expected it deep down. I was a short chubby brunette with green and brown eyes and they were tall blue-eyed blondes.
" I wanted to but I couldn’t bear the thought of you not looking at us as your mum and dad. But I want you to know that you still are and always will be are baby girl.” she said as she held my hand. I soon started crying as my dad came over and hugged us both. After awhile I looked up and turned to my parent to ask something that had confused me the most about this.
" But why does it also say I am going to attend a magical school and that I’m a witch.” I said wiping my tears from cheeks. They looked at each other again.
This time my dad spoke.
" It’s because of your real parents. They are magical. A witch and wizard. We always know it would come but after 11 we thought they wouldn’t but now your 15 I guess they finally are ready for you to go back.”
Go back. where ?
My dad then walked it to the kitchen phone in hand, as my mum moved closer to me and held my hand until dad came back.
“It’s settled there be here tomorrow” my dad said sighing as he sat back down in his chair.
“wait what who's coming?” I said to my dad looking confused. He looked up and said with a bittersweet smile on his tired face.
“Your biological parents”...
