The American

Dinner with Friends.

Something urged me to wake up, but I couldn’t open my eyes, I was just able to tell that I was in dark room, my room perhaps. I opened them to see the moonlight directly shining into the room, lighting it up. I scanned the room, realizing that it wasn’t mine, but it was one that I had been in before.

Draco’s room. But how?

I suddenly felt something stab into my back, but it wasn’t a sharp object, though it was a hard one. My eyes widened at the feeling, reaching around to grab it. It was exactly what I expected. I flipped over to the other side to see a snoozing Draco Malfoy. He looked so peaceful. He wasn’t naked though, just had on sweats. I slowly scooted away but instead, my clumsy ass fell off the bed causing the room to shake once I hit the floor.

“Laurel?” He asked leaning over the bed, looking down at me.

“Fucking kill me now.” I muttered quietly to myself. “What are you doing down there?” He asked in his groggy voice, hopping off the bed to assist me to get up.

“I uh, fell. Why am I in here?” I changed the subject. He scratched the back of his head nervously. “Well you see, you got super drunk, practically incoherent and I just brought you back here-”

I opened my mouth to speak, or so yell at him. How could he be so stupid. “But before you interrupt me, we didn’t do anything. We were just sleeping, I swear.” He defends. I thought it was sweet of him to take care of me I guess you could say, but nonetheless, it was stupid. “What about Pansy?” I inquired. If she knew I was in here, she would freak out, I just know it.

“We broke up.” He answers. “She was getting on my nerves.” He laughs and pulls me back onto the bed on top of him. His bare chest was cold and smooth against my arms that were propping me up. He aggressively grabs the back of my hair and pulls me in for a kiss while flipping me over to where he was on top. I moaned into his mouth when I felt the cool sensation of his cold hands trail down my thighs.

What on earth was going on?

I felt something hit my head, pulling away from the kiss and he was gone. Where was he?

“Laurel! Wake the fuck up!” I hear a girls voice say. A familiar voice.

I jolt awake to see Astoria glaring at me from across our room, noticeably pissed off. I moved my body, feeling the wetness between my legs. I was fucking dreaming about him, but why? Wasn’t I with Miles? Wasn’t that who I was with at the party?

“What’s going on?” I ask vividly confused.

“You were moaning in your sleep, and it woke me up. But since you woke me up, you won’t have a problem telling me who it was about, right?” She boldly asks. She was funny. What on earth would ever give her the idea that I would share something so confidential with her? She was a bitch, and I know wouldn’t hesitate to blab her recent discovery to Pansy the second she had the chance.

It wasn’t really so much that I didn’t trust Astoria, it was her personality. She was jealous that I was hanging out with her sister who was currently upset with her, so I know she would do anything to embarrass me.

“Is that a serious question?” I asked her. “Obviously I was dreaming about Clayton.” I lied.

“Who the fuck is Clayton?” She asked.

“Um, my bo-friend. We used to mess around. He goes to Ilvermorny.” I inform her.

I really need to break up with him, but I can’t help but think that there is still a chance for us.

Hope there is a chance.

Stop it, Laurel. He’s a cheater.

But so is Draco, yet you keep finding yourself more and more attracted to him. Compelled to give in to him.

Fucking boys are complicated when you’re a teenager.

“You ready, Lo?” Theo asked me, barging into my room. I turned to him, and gave him a forced chuckle. “Two things. First thing, Lo? Second, don’t you knock?”

“Knocking is overrated, and yeah. I didn’t feel like saying your name, so I shortened it. Is that okay?” He asks hesitantly. I smiled at his effort. “Yes, Lo is fine. It’s actually what my friends back home called me, but only my close friends. Don’t think I’ll let a stranger get by with calling me that.” I warn.

Today we were heading home for a week for Easter. I was more than thrilled since Daphne was staying with us. Sure, most of her time would be spent with Theo, but it was the point that she would be there if I needed someone to talk to about girl stuff.

I was honestly contemplating telling her about the whole situation between Draco and I, but I was still unsure. Yeah, we had become pretty close over the last couple of weeks, but I still wasn’t sure that I could trust her, but I needed to tell someone and writing to Rachel about it was no longer safe. If Draco found one of my letters once, who’s to say he or someone else wouldn’t find them again. My personal letters fall into the wrong hands, then I’m done.

Theo, Daphne and I made our way towards the platform to board the train. Slytherin apparently claimed an entire carriage to themselves, so I decided that since I was one of them that I should sit with them, despite how badly I wanted to sit with my other friends, the ones who initially made me feel welcome.

We claimed a booth, the three of us when we were joined by another body, filling the four seater booth.

“Bletchley.” Theo nodded as Miles took up the empty space next to mine. “What are you doing sitting with fifth years?” He continued. Miles offered a crooked smile to Theo before turning to me, turning his smile into a more genuine one, placing his arm around my shoulder. “I just wanted to spend some time with this cutie since I won’t see her for a week.” He informs us.

Miles was cute, probably one of the cutest boys in Slytherin.

Fuck, what am I talking about? All of the boys in Slytherin are cute. Scratch that, they’re fucking hot. I initially thought Theo was attractive when I first met him, but then found out within a few minutes he was my brother.

I can’t say the same for the girls however. Sure, the Greengrass sisters were beautiful, and aside from having a chunky face, Pansy was pretty, but there were a few girls who were just not attractive. I feel awful for saying that, but it’s true.

The train ride was rather quiet. Daphne and Theo snuck off for a little bit, together. I sure hope he’s finally pulled his head out of his ass and will dedicate himself to just her.

That leaves me, alone with Miles. He was a lot more fun to be around sober than he was drunk, and was much nicer than Warrington. He was getting on my nerves though, he kept apologizing for the Warrington thing. I just didn’t care anymore, I was over it, ready to move on. I don’t know why these older boys wanted me anyways. I was fifteen, they were seventeen, almost eighteen. What quality could I possibly possess that attracts the older boys to me?

We arrived at Kings Cross Station, finally. I don’t think I could spend another minute of Miles talking about quidditch, and his special tactics when being keeper. He went on and on for what felt like hours, crowding my personal space might I add. He even tried to kiss me when I we were about to part ways, but I turned my head, leaving him to plant his lips onto my cheek, then we finally parted ways.

I caught up with Theo and Daphne since they disappeared on the train a while ago, and never returned. We walked off the platform and met up with Nana was patiently waiting to see us.

She gripped both Theo and I tightly, squeezing every last ounce of energy out of us. She must have missed us that much. I don’t blame her though, it probably get’s lonely in that big house all alone most days.

“Daphne, I’m so excited you can join us. We had a room made up for your stay.” Nana informed the blonde. She tried to hide her giggles. We all, well aside from Nana, knew that Daphne was going to spend most of her nights in Theo’s room, or vise versa. What Nana Nott doesn’t know, won’t hurt her.

Nana apparated us back to the estate, and it was just as beautiful as I remembered a couple of months ago, however this time I’d have more time to explore.

Theo, Daphne and I went to our respected rooms individually to unpack our items we brought home for the week while Nana was getting dinner preparations ready. Apparently we were having guests.

Oh the joy.

I changed into a more appropriate outfit for dinner as Theo had informed me that for dinner, we formally, but not too formally. Basically, no t-shirts, tennis shoes, or jeans. Dress pants, skirts, or dresses. Button up shirts, or blouses.

I wasn’t an 89 year old, so I decided to wear one of the nice dresses that were hanging in my closet. The dress was a dark shade of green, that had a raised texture on the fabric with a belt that went around the waist.

It was definitely not my style, but I wasn’t going to disrespect Nana’s wishes, or the guests that would be joining us.

I walked down the spiral staircase and into the dining room to see Nana talking to a woman. A woman who I knew to be very familiar, but couldn’t pinpoint where I knew her from.

When the women turned her gaze upon me, I could have sworn she was going to have a heart attack or just faint.

“Cissy, are you alright?” Nana asked the woman.

The woman took a breath and snapped back into reality. “Yes, I-It’s just, is this Laurel?” She asked trying to keep her composure. I thought she was about to burst into tears. It was like she just saw a ghost, which normally wizards don’t find to be too frightening considering they’re flooded all over Hogwarts, and Ilvermorny, and even in some wizarding families homes.

Nana nodded at the woman and she took a step towards me. When she was inches away, I could see that her eyes were flooded with tears that were fighting to escape.

Who is this woman?

“My apologizes for acting sort of, strange. You just look so much like your mother, minus the blonde hair of course.”

“You knew my mother?” Was all I was able to reply with. Maybe this woman could give me insight on who my mother, Colette actually was seeing that no one can, or will give me answers. I just wanted to know why I was separated from my family.

“Yes, she was my best friend.” She told me, her face falling to the floor. “Oh, and who are you?”

“Narcissa. Narcissa-”

“Mother,” A familiar voice chimed in. I turned my head to see Draco standing in the doorway, Pansy on his arm, of course.

No wonder she looked so familiar, she looked just like him.

“Yes, darling?” She asked the blonde boy. “I’ll be heading to the Parkinson’s now. I’ll see you in a few days.” He tells her, kissing her on the cheek and walking away, but not before giving me an unreadable expression on his face.

“I’m sorry about that,” Narcissa says. “I don’t even know why he bothered coming, or bringing that thing with him. Anyways, I’m Narcissa Malfoy.” She properly introduces herself.

“Don’t mention it. Draco will be Draco.” I say with a laugh. She pauses, and looks at me confused. “You, know my son?”

Immediate flashbacks to him pulling me into the best kiss of my life weeks ago retreat back into my mind. Me moaning his name as he made me come undone with just a few slight licks up and down my pussy.

I felt myself begin to blush.

“I’ll take that as a yes.” She smirked.

Fuck, she noticed that.

“I, uh, yeah. We’ve talked a few times. He’s truly an indescribable person.” I tell her, receiving a laugh. “Yes, I’d agree with you there. I just don’t understand the boy sometimes. He’s always finding himself in very awkward situations in which myself or his father has to bail him out of, or help him out of.”

I wasn’t completely sure why she was telling me this, though I didn’t mind. It wasn’t awful hearing his own mother telling me about him, things I couldn’t just ask, or see for myself since we spend a lot of time avoiding each other after our endeavors.

“If only he’d just stop dating that awful girl. I mean, he’s my son, and I want the best for him, including his happiness, but I cannot stand her.” She confesses.

“You know, Mrs. Malfoy, I think we’re going to get along just fine.” I tell her with a smirk across my face.

“Oh, dear, we’re past formalities. We’re practically family. Call me Narcissa.”

A/N OKAY OKAY I KNOW THIS CHAPTER SUCKED, BUT I PROMISE THE NEXT ONE WILL BE WORTH IT! There will be a lot of naughty, smutty scenes in one chapter. Just stick with me, you have this far lol.

Also, do you want another POV from Draco? I was thinking of doing one from Theo’s POV also.
