The American

“Guys, I want you all to help me in welcoming Laurel Jennings. She was in the dueling club at her old school, so I figured she’d have some knowledge to share with us.” Harry introduced. The room went silent, and was suddenly filled with blank stares. Stares insinuating that I shouldn’t be there.

The word had got out about me and Theo, and ever since, I’ve received awkward stares from other students. Often I would hear them muttering things about me saying things that I’m just like every other Slytherin and how I can’t be trusted because of the things my family has done. What did that even mean? I knew very little about my newfound family, how am I to know they’ve done bad or maybe even unforgivable things? I still had yet to meet my biological dad.

“Really Harry?” One girl spat in disgust. “You invited her to join us? How can we trust her? How do we know she won’t just go running back to her brother and rat us out?” She continued.

“Cho, look. I know it seems a little er, strange-”

“Strange is an understatement. It’s a disgrace. Her family fought under you know who. We’re all at risk now.”

“What did you say?” I snap to her. “Her family fought under you know who.” lingering on my mind. “Why? Do you need me to repeat it word for word so you can run back and tell your Slytherin friends?” I scoffed. “I have no Slytherin friends. I have a brother who I just found out I had a couple of months ago. I know nothing about my family. As far as I’m concerned, I’m not even a Nott.”

Laughter emerged among the room.

“Look, I have no reason to be here. It doesn’t really benefit me. I was asked, based on my knowledge of dueling, and defensive spells to come help all of you who know little to nothing about the matter. If you don’t want my help, fine, but don’t think that just because you’re refusing me because I’m a Slytherin, doesn’t mean I’m going to go tattle on you. I’ve got better things to do with my time.”

They all went quiet. You could hear a pin drop in the room.

“How do you suppose we trust you then?” The girl, Cho, asked. I stood there for a moment, trying to figure out the proper way to answer it, but I didn’t have a convincing enough answer. “I guess you’ll just have to trust me on a whim then, because nothing I can tell you will guarantee your trust in me. You’ll just have to seek it out for yourself.” I replied. “So, do you want my help or not?” I asked. Cho didn’t respond, she stood there kind of upset that I stood up to her. What, what she expecting me to just blurt out that I was going to rat them all out? I wasn’t. I had no intentions of doing that. What would that do for me? Especially if I’m apart of their group.

“Well, Nott, show us what you got.” Ron said. I scowled at him for referring to me as Nott, but quickly brushed it off. “Alright then, go stand over there.” I said pointing down to the opposite end of the room. “I presume you know how to duel, correct?”

“Eh, just the basics.” He says before walking away. “What do you have planned?” Ginny asked earning a grin from me. “Just wait, you’ll see.”

We raised our wands. Ron went first.

“Protego.” I countered, shielding his spell back towards him, sending him falling back onto his butt. He looked confused but then stood up again. “That all you got?” He taunted. I smirked before shouting “Impedimenta”. He froze for a moment, unable to move, but once he regained his mobility, he fell to the floor, almost as if his stamina was completely drained. Eyes around widened as if they weren’t expecting me to actually know anything.

I walked over to Ron and offered him my hand to help him up. He smiled at the gesture before taking my hand, receiving applause from everyone around. “You, weren’t messing around.” He finally spoke.

“Well, I wanted to go easy on you an-”

“That was easy? You took my breath away, literally.” He laughed. “That was nothing. You should see me in a competitive duel.” I told him.

“The thing is, Laurel, we’re not doing this for dueling. We just want to know how to defend ourselves if we ever need to.” Harry interrupted. I nodded in understanding. “Oh, the spells I could teach you guys Most of which they don’t teach you until seventh year, but I guess I had a slight advantage.

The next few days went on as usual, except there was a new usual. Everyone kept referring to me as “Nott”, and “Notts little sister”. It was annoying, but at least they weren’t calling me mudblood anymore. Well, Pansy was but that’s because she refused to believe that Theo and I were actually brother and sister. Every time she teased me since the night of spin the bottle, I wanted to tell her how her boyfriend couldn’t keep his hands off of me, but I didn’t want to stoop that low. She’d most definitely curse me.

I was on my way to the Great Hall for dinner when Daphne Greengrass called my name and caught up with me. “Do you care if I walk with you?” She asked. I was hesitant to answer at first, but I ended up nodding at the risk of coming off as rude. “I just wanted to apologize for the way I treated you before. It’s just, Theo does have the reputation of a player, and it was just easier to believe that you were hooking up rather than just being classmates.”

“Its um, its alright.” I replied completely caught off guard by her words and apology. “It’s not your fault. You’re just a protective girlfriend.”

“Ex girlfriend. I er, I broke up with Th- your brother.” She said. I didn’t know what to say, so I just stayed silent. “And I’m still not talking to my sister, or Pansy.” She seemed pretty upset. She just lost three people who were pretty important to her. Surely, she and Astoria would reconcile eventually, I mean they are sisters who live together. They can’t avoid each other forever, but Pansy and Theo on the other hand, no words.

“Well if it makes you feel any better, I had no idea about any of what happened. I was just as surprised as you were.” I offer. “It kind of does. Thank you.” She smiles.

We entered the Great Hall, and sat down by each other and talked throughout dinner. She was actually a lot nicer than she lead on. I honestly think it was all Pansy’s influence on her. Now that I think about it, the only time she would really say anything mean was when Pansy was around, so I apologized to her for calling her a bitch. “Oh, thanks Laurel, but you are right. We are all bitches, but we’re not all tough. We get our feelings hurt just as much as the next person.”

Dinner continued when I overheard Pansy’s obnoxious voice squeal at Malfoys entrance. I had been too busy talking to Daphne that I didn’t even notice that he wasn’t at dinner at first. Daphne rolled her eyes upon seeing him take a seat by her. He looked annoyed already and he just sat down. “What’s up with them?” I asked out of curiosity.

“She’s obsessed with him.” She replied bluntly. “You don’t say.” I laugh.

“No, I’m being serious. He’s tried to cut ties completely so many times, but she won’t let him. She’s literally his shadow.” She explains. She leans in closer to my ear. “Don’t repeat this, but sometimes at night, she’ll wait until we’re all asleep, and she’ll start touching herself and moaning his name. It’s disgusting. I’ve never called her out on it, mainly because I’ve done the same but to Theo’s name, but I never did it while my roommates were present. I’ve always made sure I was alone, or in the shower.”

“Are we really talking about you masturbating right now?” I asked appalled. “What about masturbation?” Theo says as he approaches us. Daphne again rolled her eyes and groaned at his presence. “Nothing that concerns you.” She says, ignoring the fact that she just admitted she touches herself while thinking of him, anyways.

“Daph, can we please talk?” He asked her. His expression said that he wouldn’t take no for answer. “I don’t want to talk, Theo. Please leave me alone.” She replied.

“Come on, Daph. We do this all the time. You know you’ll just take me back eventually. We both know you can’t go too long without feeling me inside of you.”

“Um, ew, Cringe.” I spoke loudly. “Sorry, sis.” He said. Now I’m sis? Ugh.

“Well, bro, for your information, Daphne doesn’t need you to please herself. She is a woman, she can handle herself.” I say turning to her. “I heard there’s a shop nearby that sells um, toys, we should check it out.” I inform her. “I’d love to!” She says in excitement.

Theo on the other hand got annoyed quickly and walked away.

There wasn’t really a shop, or maybe there was, but it got him to stop bothering her.

“Thanks.” She said. “Anytime.”

I think I just made a friend. My first Slytherin friend.

After dinner, I began to make my way back towards the common room. Today was one of those days where I didn’t wear tights, but thigh high socks that kissed the hem of my skirt instead. You’d think it wouldn’t matter, but it did apparently. Huff-n-Puff’s common room just so happened to be in the dungeons as well, so it wasn’t uncommon some to be walking into the same direction as me.

I practically felt the breath of two boys behind me making remarks about how girls shouldn’t be allowed to dress this way if they didn’t want guys to react to it. Fucking pigs if you ask me. It wasn’t long before one slipped their hand right underneath my skirt grabbing a handful of my bare ass, since I had a thong on.

Note to self: Don’t wear a thong when wearing thigh high socks with a skirt.

I turned around and tried to push the boy off when his companion grabbed me and pulled me into a nearby bathroom.

I tried to fight the pair off, but I couldn’t even push one off of me, let alone two. One of the boys was whispering dirty things to me. Repulsive, dirty things, while the other was kissing my neck. I was disgusted, I couldn’t bare to watch what was going to happen next, so I sealed my eyes shut when I heard one of them whisper a silencing charm.

One of their hands began to tug at waistband of my skirt when the door busted open.

“Get the fuck off of her!” I heard someone yelled.

“Care to join us, Malfoy?” One of the boys teased just before being ripped off of me. I opened my eyes to see Malfoy on top of one of the boys throwing punches into his face while his friend tried to pull him off, though he was unsuccessful. Malfoy pushed the other guy away with full force, causing him to fall to the ground.

He eventually got off of the first boy and panned his view between the pair, glaring. They were quick to take the hint and jumped up, running out of the room.

“Are you alright?” He asked walking closer to me. I nodded and thanked him for the sudden rescue. “How did you know what was happening?” I asked.

“I-I was um, I was just walking back to the common room, and heard the commotion in here.” He lied. There was no way. They casted the silencing charm. He was following me, but too ashamed to admit it. I just nodded, and tried hiding my grin.

“Anyways, I’m just glad I was able to stop anything from happening.” He said scratching the back of his head unable to make eye contact with me. This was the first encounter he and I have had since our heated make-out session over the weekend. I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t thought about that moment and what would have happened if he didn’t stop, and I was dying to find out.

I gently grabbed his chin, and pulled him to look at me since he always tried to avoid eye contact with me, and pressed my lips against his. I was expecting him to pull away and call me some bizarre name, but he didn’t. He fell into the kiss, consuming my lips as if this were the best kiss he ever had.

There was something about kissing Malfoy that just felt right. Clayton and I had many, many heated make-out sessions, but there was always this missing piece within out relationship, but Clayton wasn’t on my mind right now. This boy connected to my lips, Draco was.

Our kissing began to escalate into something more, much more than I could begin to ask for. His hands quickly found my thigh, spreading them slightly, rubbing his fingers up and down them, teasing me with every inch he covered. Unlike the last time, his fingers found my clothed clit, gently rubbing it with his curved finger causing my underwear to instantly soak.

He tugged at the fabric, pulling it to the side to feel the effect he had on my body. I felt him grin when he realized what he did to me. I couldn’t help but wonder if I did the same to him, so I reached forward and grazed my hand on his length. Yeah, I’d say I made him feel the same. I gave him a slight squeeze which caused him to moan into my mouth.

He moved his lips from mine, and began trickling them down my neck then went directly to my thighs, kissing every inch of them. He knew exactly what he was doing, and I loved every second of it. He then pulled my underwear off before diving straight into my pussy, flicking his tongue vigorously against my clit. The vibrations he was causing was driving me insane. “Oh-m. F-Fuck!” I cried out as I got closer to my climax.

Clayton never made me feel this good.

He stuck his tongue directly inside of me and then began sucking on my clit. That was it. I was done for after that.

“That’s it, cum right on my tongue.” He hummed and I did, arching my back as I came undone into his mouth. He pulled off of my clit, and continued kissing my thighs while unbuckling his belt. I heard his pants, and boxers hit the floor just before he stood up. I looked down taking in the size of his length with my eyes.

Bigger than I expected.

He spread my legs even more, rubbing his tip against me, moaning at the touch. He was about to slip in, but I had to stop him.

“Draco- I’m a virgin.” I spoke softly. He pulled away from me, confused by my words as if I just spoke a different language.

“Y-You’re kidding. You have to be kidding. I thought that-” He stopped talking. Probably a good idea, because I know something stupid was about to fall from his mouth. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have lead you on.” I say breaking away from him and pulling my underwear back on, storming past him out the door.

I didn’t get far before he caught up with me, snatching my hand and pulling me down a hall.

“I didn’t mean it like it sounded. I-I’m just surprised I guess you could say.” His eyes trailed away from mine to the floor. “I thought you said you and your ex did, and well there was the thing with Warrington..”

I scoffed.

“Clayton and I never... It was always blowjob after blowjob after blowjob because I wasn’t ready to give myself away to him.” His eyes came back to mine. He seemed interested in what I had to say. “And Warrington.” I scoffed. “He used the imperious curse on me. I-I had no choice.” I confess causing his eyes to widen.

“So wait,” He his sensitive had suddenly changed. “You’re telling me that Warrington used-”

“Yes.” I said quietly, but just enough for him to hear. He grabbed my hand again and looked up willingly into my eyes, planting a kiss on my forehead. “I’ll take care of it.” He whispered before walking away quickly.
