Don’t be shy to send in any requests

“Order 58!”

I headed to the counter and took my order. “Thanks,” I said before going back to my seat.

“What the hell are you doing here?” I scowled at Theo Raeken who was sitting in my seat. He made no move to get up so I sat across him.

“I was hungry,” he rolled his eyes.

“Then go fucking order,” I hissed at him with a glare.

I had no intention of being friendly with someone who stabbed my friends in the back.

No, literally.

He left to go order his food and I dug into my chicken sandwich.

“Shit shit shit,” I muttered wiping the sauce that got on the corner of my lip. My fucking ex, Chase, had just walked in with his jock friends.

I tried to look down and concentrate on my food but I’m pretty sure he saw me the moment he walked in.

Since I wasn’t a supernatural like most of my friends, I couldn’t use any superhearing to hear what he said to his friends. I’m guessing he told them he’ll catch up because he was making his way to me.

“Hey, baby,” he said smugly as he took a seat across from me.

“What do you want?” I asked in an unfriendly way. He pouted but went on.

“Smooth,” I mustered up. I really wanted to punch him in the face. His perfectly shaped face but still- I wanted to destroy it.

I should’ve let Liam do it when he asked me. But no, I just had to be the bigger person.

Now I know why I absolutely despise myself.

“Come on,” he pleaded and grabbed my left hand. I jerked away from him and dropped my soda.

Fortunately, someone caught it.

Unfortunately, that someone was Theo.

“Hey, babe, who’s this?” Theo winked at me as he nodded his head toward Chase.

I got the hint and played along.

“The guy I told you about.”

“Yeah,” I took a sip of my Sprite.

“Babe?” Chase looked puzzled. “I thought you didn’t have a boyfriend.”

“I do- we like to keep things secret,” I said, praying he wouldn’t go around telling the whole school.

Wow. I am just living my life.

“Theo Raeken and Marina Lowe are dating?”

“I thought it was bull too but apparently it’s real.”

“Explains a ton of shit.”

“Wow, she really upgraded, huh?”

“Oh, God,” I looked at Theo before we got out of his car. He picked me up in the morning and explained the situation. I would be lying if I said I took the news well.

Lydia, Malia, Scott, and Stiles were blowing up my phone with endless questions. Liam gave me 40 missed calls. Mason and Corey were the only ones sending me things I enjoyed reading- memes.

Yes, I love them too.

Morey forever.

“Let’s just do what we always do,” Theo grabbed my hand. “Pretend.”

He gave my hand a slight squeeze before letting go. I don’t fucking know how he’s acting so normal about this but honestly... do I even want to know?

Theo locked his car before joining me by my side and wrapped an arm around me. We walked inside and ignored the stares (I had more difficulty than him).

“Marina,” Lydia slammed my locker shut to get my attention. Theo had slipped away in the chaos and I’m guessing Scott and Stiles were tailing him.

“Is it fucking true?” Malia said from behind me and I jumped.

Why are supernaturals so fucking good at creeping around?

The number of times I’ve woken up to Malia or Lydia staring at me sleep is fucking crazy.

“No, of course, it’s not!” I whisper-shouted. Everyone else was too busy gossiping to listen but I’m paranoid.

“So we got you these for nothing?”

The 3 of us looked to our left to see who said that.

Corey and Mason were holding a card that said: Mario Forever. It was nicely decorated with a shit ton of stickers and glitter.

“It’s all fake. Chase won’t fucking leave me alone after what happened so Theo just... attempted to stop it. We didn’t know he would tell the whole school,” I protested.

“First of all- sweet card,” Malia noted and the boys beamed at her. “Second of all- thank the fucking lord. I was about to say...” She shook her head and exhaled.

“Well, he shouldn’t have cheated on you- that fucking bitch. I bet he had a small dick. Marina, did he have a small dick?” Malia asked.

I blinked but recovered. “Oh, he didn’t even have one.”

Not true. It was pretty big but I didn’t want to admit it out loud.

Malia chuckled as Lydia walked off, questioning her choice in friends.

“So? How’d it go?” Theo popped up in front of me.

“Not bad,” I murmured as I dug in my locker for a book. Theo pulled me away from it and shut it closed.

“Do you really want to go to class?” he frowned.

“Not really, no.”

“Then let’s skip,” he said and pulled me to the front door. I didn’t bother looking back- I just let him lead us away from the prison (commonly known as school).

“Where are you taking us?” I asked as I put on my seatbelt. Theo started the car and pulled out of the school’s parking lot.

“You’ll see,” he murmured.

I still didn’t know if I could trust him so I was thankful I brought my pepper spray along.

“By the way, I know you brought your pepper spray,” he glanced at me before looking at the road.

Never mind, then.

Theo pulled into a vacant parking lot and I shot him a puzzled look.

“Relax, I’m not going to kill you.”

“Don’t make promises you can’t keep,” I muttered but got out of the car anyway. We were driving for about an hour but I get carsick fast.

I looked around in case Theo did something and I had to explain to the police where he took me once I woke up in the hospital with all these bandages wrapped up around me from the injuries he gave me-

“I packed a picnic,” he said, revealing a picnic basket and a blanket that was in his trunk.

I opened my mouth but closed it instantly. I don’t trust myself to speak right now.

“Go ahead, laugh,” Theo rolled his eyes. “I don’t know about you, though but I sure can pack a picnic.” He opened up the blanket and set it on the grass. I look away from the parking lot and in front of me.

The grass looked like it had been recently cut and the smell of old rain lingered in the air. One of my favorite scents. There was a big, old tree near us so I sat down with my back to it while Theo sat across from me.

“You do realize fake dating means showing PDA in public, right?” I pointed around us and I swear there was a sound of crickets chirping.

“Yeah, I know,” he opened up a bag of Doritos and handed me it. I took a few chips and chewed carefully.

“I didn’t fucking poison it. God, what will it take for you to finally love me!” his eyes widened. “I meant to trust. What will it take for you to finally trust me.”

“I’ll take your word for it,” I replied and shoved some more chips in my mouth.

Theo studied me while I ate, triggering my anxiety.

Is he judging the way I eat?

Am I eating too much?

Holy shit- is there food in my teeth?

“No, no, and... yes,” he said with a smirk.

My hands flew to my phone but Theo’s was there first.

“I was just kidding.”

I slightly tilted my head and shot him a puzzled look. I felt his hand travel to my wrist and his other hand flew up to cup my face.

Before I could process what was going on, he brushed his lips against mine and pulled back. I leaned closer and kissed him back.

“So, we’re doing this?” he whispered, shoving the basket out of the way.

“I don’t see what the problem is,” I murmured, twisting a strand of my strawberry blond hair.

He wrapped both hands around my neck and kissed me harder. His tongue asked for entrance and I let him have it. One of his hands trailed down to my waist and I tugged his dirty blonde hair.

He took his shirt off and pushed me back slightly so he could hover himself over me.

I’m pretty sure you can imagine what happens next. Go imagine it or whatever.
