The Portal
When no one was looking she snuck away from the group, only to be flagged down by Hermione.
"Where are you going?" She whispered.
Annabel looked back towards the group, to make sure none of them turned around, when she was in the clear, she continued walking with Hermione by her side.
"I'm going to go find Harry."
Hermione quickly grabbed Annabel's wrist and sharply pulled her around to face her. Annabel winced in pain and looked at Hermione.
"You are not going to put yourself in danger, just to find Harry!"
"Well that's what you would do." Annabel remarked.
"I'm a Gryffindor, it's what we're supposed to do. You're-,"
"A Ravenclaw? Yeah I know. But why does that make me any less capable of doing the same?" Annabel glared. "Not everything revolves around Gryffindors, you do know that right? Not everything has to be done by Gryffindors. It's not fair to everyone else who isn't in you're house."
"Annabel, Gryffindors value Courage, Bravery, Nerve and Chivalry. Ravenclaws value.....um, what do they value again?" Hermione asked.
Annabel rolled her eyes.
"Ravenclaws value Intelligence, Learning, Wisdom and Wit, but there is more too us than just those four values." Annabel turned around, but then she turned back towards her friend. "The farther you follow me, the farther you are straying away from the group. So are you coming with me? Or are you staying?"
Hermione turned around and saw Ron and Ginny looking for her, then she turned back towards Annabel and shook her head.
"I'm coming with."
"We don't have much time, let's go."
Annabel grabbed Hermione's wrist and they both started to jog out into the night. When they got near Hagrid's Hut, they saw it was on fire. Then they saw Professor Snape and Harry standing face to face.
As they approached, the noticed Draco Malfoy, Bellatrix Lestrange and several other death eaters were just beyond the burning hut.
"Harry what's going on?" Hermione questioned.
"Snape killed Dumbledore! He's with Lord Voldemort." Harry screamed out in anger.
Annabel gasped, not because of the news Harry had shared, but because of a portal appearing out of nowhere. It was a bright, white light with a medium sized opening, and that opening was pitch black.
All Annabel did was point and everyone followed her gaze. Draco Malfoy came closer towards Professor Snape and Annabel moved foreword as well, Hermione following swiftly behind her.
Before anyone could say another word, Annabel felt something latch onto her foot, but when she looked down nothing was there. All of a sudden, Annabel was pulled to the ground, and she was being dragged towards the portal. She closed her eyes and waited for the impact to happen, but it never did. Or it did happen, but she didn't feel anything, so she opened her eyes and saw Professor Snape on the ground before her, with his arms grasping her own.
All Annabel had to do was look into his eyes, and she knew that he wasn't with The Dark Lord. She smiled slightly.
"Thank you." She whispered.
"You're welcome. I won't let you go. I'll get you out." He whispered back.
Annabel smiled again, but it instantly went away when both of them began to move towards the portal.
"It's sucking us both in." Annabel cried.
Draco seeing his Godfather and his fellow classmate getting pulled towards the portal made something in him click. He rushed over and grabbed Professor Snape's legs and he was surprised at his own strength. He was holding them back, from getting sucked into the unknown portal.
"Draco! Snape! Why are you saving this worthless mudblood! Are you betraying our lord?" Cried Bellatrix.
Professor Snape looked towards Annabel and for a moment she thought that he was going to let her go, but instead he responded to Bellatrix.
"Yes Bella, we are betraying The Dark Lord. Why don't you go tell him yourself."
"Draco?" Asked Professor Snape.
"Yes, Uncle?"
"Make sure you're grip doesn't wear out."
Before Draco could respond, he felt his heels start to move in the grass. All three of them were now being dragged into the portal. Annabel closed her eyes again but was stopped by Professor Snape.
"Don't close you're eyes, just look at me." He said reassuringly.
Then they all found themselves being stopped again.
"Hermione? What are you doing?" They heard Harry shout. "You are putting yourself in danger just to save a friend and two enemies! Why Hermione?" He saw that Hermione was struggling to hold on and he started to jog towards the group, but he was cursed by Bellatrix and he fell to the ground in excruciating pain.
"Annabel?" Hermione cried.
"Yes?" Annabel responded.
"I don't think I can hold on much longer." She cried.
Annabel looked at Professor Snape and knew what she had to say.
"Hermione if you have to let go, just let-,"
Annabel was cut off by the four of them getting dragged into the portal. The pull itself was so strong that the death eaters who were watching, saw them one second and then saw that they were gone the next along with the portal.

The four of them landed on solid ground. Annabel on top of the Professor and Draco on top of Hermione.
They helped each other up and realized that it was completely nighttime. They all stood together and looked around. There was a small graveyard towards their right and a huge forest surrounding them.
Then something caught Annabel's eye, a creature was moving towards them.
"What is that?" Draco asked.
"I have no idea." Professor Snape responded.
"Wait, where are we?" Hermione questioned.
"I'm not sure." Said Annabel.
As the creature got closer, they began to close in on each other. They all huddled together, Draco wrapping his arms around Hermione and Professor Snape covering Annabel with his body. Just as they were about to be attacked, someone cut through the chest of the creature.
The four of them looked up and saw a man with a bloodied sword, his hair was long and white, his eyes were bloodshot, but they were getting back to normal. And he had a silver medallion hanging from his neck with a wolf imprinted on it.
"Who are you?" The stranger questioned.
