once she was sure that the amount of noise that would go through the house was limited she went into her bedside table and grabbed the pack of cigarettes she had hidden.

she had stolen a pack from the convenience store down the street, the people working there were trumpies so she didn't mind. she had to be extra quiet tonight because wild was asleep. yumeko usually only did this when he wasn't home but tonight was a bad night. she needed something to brush off the anxiety.

her nerves were completely shot and she had to concentrate to keep her power from practically exploding on everyone.

"fuck..." yumeko mumbled out once she realized she had forgotten her lighter, of course that was on wild's dresser because she was a dipshit. she quietly tiptoed over there and grabbed it, only mildly freaking out when he turned over.

"whatcha doing?" she nearly jumped fifteen feet in the air when she heard wild's voice from beside her. "n-nothing!" she whispered back while shoving the cigarette pack in her back pocket.

"i'm not an idiot," he started to laugh and open the window, "i know what you do, did you really think i wouldn't notice that our room smelled like cigarettes every time i came back from a training camp or friends house?" he finished off while still laughing.

"oops..." she began to laugh too, pulling his hand and dragging him outside. "where are we going?" yumeko just giggled and continued to pull him down the sidewalk.

she finally stopped when they got to the gazebo at the pond near the house. she pulled out a cigarette from her back pocket and lit it.

"want one?" she did a trick with the box and stuck one out, he grabbed it and stuck out his hand for the lighter. yumeko smirked and grabbed the cigarette out of his hand, sticking it in his mouth and grabbing the back of his head. she pressed her already lit one to his and blew smoke in his face. "well damn. if i knew i would get i show i would've pointed it out early." he barked out with a laugh.

yumeko groaned as she felt the sun in her eyes, it was blinding and hot.

wait.

she never got any sun in her eyes due to the angle her bed was at so...

fuck.

her and wild fell asleep in the gazebo.

they were both stoned out of their minds last night after texting someone wild knew.

yumeko frantically shook him awake and dragged him towards the house before he could even open his eyes.

"wha-whas' goin' on?" he slurred out while trying to yank his arm out of yumeko's grasp to rub his eyes. "you idiot! we fell asleep! c'mon we've got to hurry before techno notices!" she continued to drag him, all the way back to the window where they both quickly climbed in.

yumeko quickly shut the window and locked it, putting down the blinds while gesturing for wild to unlock and unblanket the door.

as soon as it was all finished, like bad luck or good luck techno walked in.

"damn, it's cold in here. is there something wrong with the window?" yumeko and wild began to internally panic, thinking up about what to do. "n-no! it's just that time of year." wild said quickly while pushing techno out of the room.

"you should get to work techno! besides i still have to pick out our outfits. so..." she told the older male while smiling. "okay... i'll see you kids later." they both sighed in relief before heading to the bathroom to shower.

"i want to go first!"

"no!"

"let me motherfucker!"

"i smell more like weed!"

"no you don't! i do!"

"fuck off!"

"suck it hoe!"

yumeko shouted as she quickly shut the door in his face, locking it and pushing the table against it.

might as well use up all the hot water before wild could have it, bastard deserved it for not waking her up yesterday.

he was supposed to wake yumeko up after 20 minutes so they could sneak back in, now her back was stiff and sore. and they both needed to shower and get dressed and ready. which meant they were both going to be late for school.

"bitch hurry up! i know you already used up all the hot water but still!" he shouted through the door, making her laugh while drying her hair. "being pretty isn't easy wild!" she yelled back, purposely turning up the speaker louder.

"holy shit! i think you just made my ears bleed! how are you not deaf yet bitch?!" she could hear him and although it was muffled, yumeko still got the general point. "you can't kill me, i'm a bad bitch!" she could once again hear his muffled voice through the door, which she assumed to be a laugh.

yumeko finished blow-drying her hair and turned off the speaker. she stepped over and pushed the table out of the way and unlocked the door.

"i'm finished now dickwad!"

...

dear mother of satan.

lord god jesus above.

this man was trying to kill her, he walked out with nothing but a towel on, claiming he had forgotten to get his outfit.

which was complete bullshit, it was right there on the counter.

when did he get a tattoo?!

and when did he get abs?!

and goddamn she was about to have a nose bleed. this bitch was trying to murder her.

"are you done staring yet?" he asked, smirking in amusement. she just closed her mouth and pointed to the messily folded outfit on the counter. "clothes. now." she shut the door in his face and walked into their room, still kinda short-circuiting a bit.

she went over to the closet, grabbing one of her favorites, a long-sleeved pink and blue top with a tennis skirt. it was a bit pastel for her taste but it was amazing together.

she grabbed the elastics she kept on wild's dresser and walked over to the mirror that hung on the back of the door. yumeko pulled the front strands of her hair back into ponytails and brushed it out a bit.

yumeko looked over to the mirror and nodded in satisfaction. it would be good for today, it's not like anything crazy would happen.

right?
