Team Blue: A Frozen Alliance

Chapter 1 The Storm Begins

On another side of Planet Earth, there is a kingdom town known as Arendelle, which is famous for cold and icy weather. Residing high above the town on the North Mountain several miles away is a palace which is made of indestructible and unmeltable ice. The queen of Arendelle, Queen Elsa, lives here along with her little sister, Princess Anna. Elsa has cryokinetic powers, which means she can control ice and snow to her liking—it is how she created her palace with her own hands.

Usually, Elsa and Anna live in peace together inside their palace, happily caring for each other the way sisters love each other. But all that changed forever on a fateful day, where Elsa met three blue heroes, each of which was from her world, and they all worked together to save their world from three evil geniuses…

Early one summer morning, Elsa was standing on a balcony with her sister, watching the sun rise over the horizon. They enjoyed the peace and quiet the early dawn brought, as well as how majestic their crystalline palace looked when the sun shone on its unmeltable structure.

But then, Anna heard something mysterious. “Elsa,” Anna began. “Do you hear that?”

Elsa listened carefully, but she didn’t hear anything. “No,” she answered her sister. “Why?”

“Well, it sounds a little… evil,” stated Anna.

Elsa looked into the higher sky, and she gasped. “Oh, no,” she stated, horrified. “Look!”

Anna looked up into the sky, and they saw a large flying fortress coming in over the entire kingdom. Unbeknownst to either of them, they were Dr. Eggman, Dr. Dark, and Diesel 10—the three evil geniuses who later brought Elsa and Anna to meet with those three blue heroes.

In the flying fortress, Eggman spoke through a loudspeaker so that everyone could hear him. “Ho-ho-ho-ho!” he cackled. “Greetings, kingdom of Arendelle. We all bring some exciting news for all of you to hear—exciting for ourselves that is, and catastrophic for you.”

Then, three large holographic screens appeared in the sky. Dark, heavy snow clouds had just happened to cover the entire sky, which meant the holographic screens were easily visible. “Please allow us to firstly introduce ourselves,” Eggman continued. “My name is Dr. Eggman, and these are my two evil genius cohorts.”

“My name is Diesel 10,” Diesel 10 responded.

“And I am Dr. Dark,” Dr. Dark finished. “We all have come here today because we all have the same goal; ergo we are all working as a team.”

“That goal is to take over this world as well as this very dimension,” Diesel 10 snarled, “but this

plan we have requires the annihilation of your puny kingdom.”

“And,” added Dr. Eggman, “what better way to level out a kingdom like this than to bury it in snow?”

The holographic screens disappeared, then the ship left, too, and the heavy clouds began to snow extremely heavily. Everyone in town immediately headed inside where they had warmth and shelter… and not a moment too soon. Within a few minutes, the snow grew up to six feet deep within several hundred miles surrounding the palace, and it was still rapidly rising!

Up in the palace, which was much too high up to be buried, Elsa tried using her cryokinesis to stop the snow. Unfortunately, the three evil geniuses’ evil scheme could not be stopped by her.

“Elsa,” Anna asked, “what are we going to do?”

“We’ll need some help on this, Anna,” Elsa explained. “And not just any help; we’ll need the help of specialists.”

“But who else do we know who can help us eliminate this?”

“I shall figure out how to summon them, even if we have to struggle to do so,” answered Elsa. With that, she closed her eyes and focused her cryokinesis back up into the sky. Only this time, she wasn’t aiming for the clouds; she was aiming for the heavens.

Elsa began to ask for help in the form of poetry: “Oh, brave heroes, who can save us all, please heed the emergency within my call. Oh, brave heroes, true as can tell, come to help us all, and save Arendelle.”

taosgw74: If this is the authors first attempt at writing, I'm floored. I was engrossed in the plot from the get go.

Dru83: This is perhaps my favorite part of the Olafson story just because it is here that were are introduced to his "gang". The characters are so diverse and complicated that each of them could just about spawn their own story. Eric's buddies are just so captivating and the plot just rolls along. Again...

Olivia N J Hamel: I want this book. I love it so much. It is so enjoyable to read and to have a copy of this always, I would be very happy, to always be able to come back and look at it again.

John Smith: This is what Sci Fi is all about. Reads like early Heinlein. In the style of Space Cadets. No esoteric problems..but good ol blaster and space action with a host of relatable characters

heavyreader: great scifi novels but needs a better spell checker (check auto-substitution level) and grammar checker!!! otherwise, ready for mass market publishing!!

kathryncoard: I really enjoyed this book. It was a fast paced book, that kept me interested . Yes, it was political commentary, which I found to be relevant to many things happening in the world. The snippets from the journal show the " boiled frog " analogy that is clearly relevant . Interesting that peop...

Dru83: This is a great story, mainly because of the uniqueness and variety of the characters. There's also several mini story lines occurring underneath the main plot. Some of the plot twists towards the end are unexpected and twist at your heart strings a bit. The punctuation and grammar could use some...

Tiffany Thomson: This story is not something I would normally pick up and read but I'm so glad I did, I wasn't able to put it down and my husband was yelling at me at 3am to put it down and go to bed (just waited for him to doze back off before picking it back up) I really hope Natalie brings out another book eit...

ga1984: I really enjoyed it! Characters were deep and plot was pretty complex. A bit on the violent side but it doesnt detract from the story. Very dark but situations make sense. Ends kinda abruptly and later chapters will need some editing work. I'm assuming there's more in the works?

263Adder: Okay so I adore this story. I only knocked one star off plot for historical inaccuracies because I'm a bit of a stickler for that. The ending broke my heart though, considering you already changed history couldn't you (SPOILER) change it a bit more and have them together!!!! I want an alternative...

JWalker: I loved this story from start to finish! It flows at a really nice pace and the story world feels so real. The fight sequences are a treat especially when Isanfyre is training to become a warrior. I found the names really cool and thankfully easy to pronounce. Personally I have always struggled w...

Charlie_8472: Recommended to me by a friend, I thought I'd give this a read. As a hobbyist blacksmith, the blurb certainly caught my attention. I found the sentence about them drinking, dancing and fighting a strange combination of activities, perhaps a reflection of the writer’s personality and humour. Howeve...
