Hey there! I'm Karin. So as you know that Valentine's Day is around the corner, people start dreaming when their true love would come...blah blah blah... For me all this was just a waste of time, I mean who would be so foolish to think about all this stuff! This is my story and how my life changed..
Finally I woke up thinking about Amanda! Although she was my best friend, she should not have treated me like her puppet..Don't know how I'm going to face her in school today, hope everything goes well!
"Bag.. check! Breakfast ..check! Um... what else am I missing ?"I said. I didn't exactly remember so I sat on my couch thinking. Just then I heard my ride arrive. I ran out as fast I could grabbing all my belongings, lock my door, and reached there just in time before it left..like always.
"Hey Karin! Come sit here"Joseph said. He was a nice kid and a good friend of mine. "Hey! So finished the bio assignment?"I asked knowing that he forgot.
"Oh shit! I can I borrow yours?"he asked in his fake British accent. "Of course" I replied giggling, "But you don't need to..I finished it!"he smirked.
I gasped, out of all the days when I actually made him a extra copy..He finished his assignment! What the hell!
The bus stopped abruptly, causing me to bang my head into the seat in front of me. "Ouch!" I exclaimed. Then I turned only to find the whole damn bus looking at me.
"What, haven't you seen someone hurt themselves!"I shouted.
What a great way to start the day!I started on my way to my class which on the 4th floor. I finally reached my destination with back pain, which I guess was due to my heavy bag.
"Whew",I said taking in slow deep breaths. I walked to my class which was right next to Amanda's, I knew that I would regret seeing her face but their was no other way to get to class, so I took the risk.
"I knew I would regret this" I mumbled to myself.
"Hey! I can't believe that you avoided me all weekend!" She was acting as if nothing happened, not that she knows, I found out the truth behind our friendship.
"Sorry! I had some errands to do"i lied hoping she'll buy it.
"You and errands...that doesn't sound like you." I let out sigh, she knew me too well. And finally the bell rang at the perfect timing.
"Looks like I gotta go, bye!" I ran as fast as I could. I mean who can tolerate a 'was-best-friend' who lies to them.
The first period was maths, Mentally Affected Teachers Harassing Students. It was complete torture, not that I didn't like maths, it was our teacher who took our free periods to make it so torturing that sometimes I shiver just hearing the word 'MATHS'. But somehow I survive, and also manage to take down some notes.
"Hey Karin, got a pencil?" whispered the class's so called popular dude- Jake. I ignored him as long as I could trying not to start a world war III, I mean first he asks me for help but when I need his he acts like a jerk.
"Goddammit, Would you just stop bothering me!" I blurted out, way louder than I wanted to. All eyes turned to me
"Sorry Madam" hoping for our teacher to go back to teaching us, but no she had to ask me to stay for 10 minutes after class.
I turned around just in time to see Jake having a smirk plastered to his face. Oh, how I wish I could punch his face.
So I waited for my teacher to finish the class, "Yes mam, you asked to see me?"
"Ah, yes I wanted to ask you about your behavior in class today. That certainly not how you present your self in front of a teacher and please haven't I reminded you all enough, not to use inappropriate language in school. I'm sorry to say, but if this situation persists then I would have to send you to the principal." She said rather disappointed in me.
"I understand" was all that could come out of my mouth. "Now off you go".
Lunch came by after a long afternoon of classes. I got some rice and an Indian curry my mom made. You might not know but I'm from India, no one knows that I changed my name when I moved to England. After my father's death I chose to start a new life with my mom and my little sister who changed her name as well, Katherine. My mom how ever didn't change her name.
"Hey Karin!" great just the person who I didn't want to see- Amanda.
"Hey" the only word I could think of, trying to make me sound interested to chat with her.
"You going to that 1 direction concert?"
"I dunno, I'll think about it-"
" You have to come I insist! " Amanda cut me off like always but, now it felt a bit more annoying.
The bell rang again, I just love this bell! "Sorry Amanda, gotta go!"
I went to library hoping to find a book that I could read. I finally found one: The classic Romeo and Juliet. I found a seat next to a window and started reading. To my surprise a found a note in it. It read
Love is everything, how it changes a man's life is astounding. But the reality is painful, it breaks a heart when you find out that the one you love is already someone else's and there no way she could ever be yours.
I really like the way the person wrote and thought of writing back to him.
That is a true, but actually love is just a waste of time. No matter how hard you try it always breaks your heart. Hope you understand and think of it as my point of view.
I felt really eager to get a reply from him. You must be wondering how, well he mentioned that he loved some one but that girl never saw his love for her.
My phone started ringing. "Hello?"
"Hey it's mom"
"Just wanted you to know that I'll be running late today, so wait for me"
"okay, have a great time"
My mom works as a teacher in my school but because she has to complete some paper work she can be late at times.
I run out of the library as I take a quick look at the circular beautifully decorated clock. I realize that I'm late for one direction concert ticket sale. "Oh gosh! I have to get home fast!"
I reach home, my heart pumping fast as I unlock my door and run into my room, throwing my bag down, logging in to my laptop and to my great disappointment all the tickets are sold out. Not many people what big Directioner I am. I never told anyone except my friends (including Amanda). I made many sketches of them during my free time. I had a special book which had Elsa and Anna on the cover page (so that no one suspects). I had a diary which got stolen and my crush thought I had a crush on him which not true but with time I started to like him, and then he actually turned out to be my crush.
I wanted to text my friends but I knew they were busy..but still just left them one
(K-Karin, J-Joseph, E-Emily, C- Colette)
K- hey guys, I didn't get the tickets :(
E- Aw, that's sad!
C- Hey, I heard that they are having a competition in which if you win you get a chance to record a duet with them...
J- that's a great idea!
K- what is the competition like you know about?
C- Singing silly, use your brains sometimes! ;)
K- WHAT! Singing, you that I can't sing in front of anyone except you guys
J- You could try!
E- Yup, if I were you I would give it a shot!
K- Well, I guess I can try...
J- you rock girl!
E- ha ha :)
K- See you guys tomorrow!
"Time to change! Yawn, I'm sleepy" I change into my pajamas and lay in bed with my teddy bear.
"knock, knock!" "who's there?" I asked. "Katherine" she said with a rather chirpy voice." Come in!"
"Can I sleep with you today?" she asked. I had no choice but to say yes."Come here but don't move around much"
Katherine fell asleep as soon as her head touched the pillow, while I lay there thinking how tomorrow would be. "Good night" I whispered and fell asleep.
Riskaninda Maharani: This story told about love between Christopher Schlösser (a German) and Anggia Selestina (an Indonesian) that happened in Düsseldorf, Germany in an autumn. The German autumn which was so different with the autumn in the other four season countries, especially in Anggia's eyes when her heart-movin...
sunshinebennybear: First, I would like to address the elephant in the room. The author forgets her own character's names. She mixed up Liam for Jace, Harri for Maiya, and Freya for Clary. I love The Mortal Instruments as much as the next fangirl, but I find myself unforgiving about this. Throughout the story there ...

LouiseJ2: I enjoyed the detail you went into with regards to the case. It made the UNSUB appear believable. The crisis in the middle of the story was my favorite part, very dramatic but not over the top. I feel like sometimes pairings can be overdone but I liked that some of the relationships were a little...
Animeviewer: It is one of the best stories I've ever read. This story will have you riding a roller coaster of emotions and nearly dying to know what happens next. You will get very attached to the characters and in my case I relate well with some of their very traumatic or emotional experiences, Just Juliet f...
GeorgeS: The author has a VERY refreshingly direct writing style. Sometimes being punched in the gut (or nose, as the case may be) can be an excellent thing, indeed. Whatever may be lacking in subtlety is more than made up for in the diamond clarity of character development. I look forward to MORE. I c...
263Adder: Okay so I adore this story. I only knocked one star off plot for historical inaccuracies because I'm a bit of a stickler for that. The ending broke my heart though, considering you already changed history couldn't you (SPOILER) change it a bit more and have them together!!!! I want an alternative...
Sandra Estrada: I loved every minute of it and I thank my lucky stars that brought me to the story, it's been a whirlwind of emotions, plot twist after plot twist but I never got tired of them. Abby and Kade's story is a hard one to understand but once you're submerged in their story and love, you can't help but...
RodRaglin: Sounds like an interesting story, LesAnne. Here are some things you might want to consider when you revise this draft."Show don't tell." You've probably hear this before and wondered what's the difference? Well, the difference is as a writer you're telling your reader what's happening rather than ...
FreakyPoet: "you made me laugh, made me cry, both are hard to do. I spent most of the night reading your story, captivated. This is why you get full stars from me. Thanks for the great story!"
Sara Joy Bailey: "Full of depth and life. The plot was thrilling. The author's style flows naturally and the reader can easily slip into the pages of the story. Very well done."
