The Doctor

I have changed a lot throughout my years.

I’ve had different faces,

personalities,

heights,

weights,

everything.

Sometimes I don’t want to change,

because changing makes me into someone else,

and I don’t want to be someone else.

I’ve seen destruction,

some I’ve caused,

some I haven’t,

but I’ve seen too much for a man or alien to take.

I’ve traveled to places humans couldn’t even dream about,

I’ve saved lives,

and ended them as well.

I’ve had to watch my friends wither and die,

while I stay the same forever.

It’s a lonely life,

because even if I make friends or lovers,

they all leave.

Some because they die,

some because it’s too much,

and others can’t get enough and I make them go away.

I started this adventure with the people I hold dear,

In the end no one is near.

Brian Shaber: I very much enjoyed this. I was a fun read, the characters and story expanding immensely as it went (almost to the point of bewildering me). The characters, settings, and scenes were vivid. The world-building (though, as I said, bewildering after a while) was most impressive. The grammar erro...

Marijana1: The melancholy present throughout this story has the power to influence and etch into the minds of the readers, to stay there and refuse to leave even after they have finished reading the story. This is a deep, powerful story, making the readers wonder about everything – about love, about their e...

esme mata: It is a very well written book with amazing descriptions that you yourself can feel the love in the air, in your heart, and in your eyes once you start crying along with the main characters. This is truly my favorite book.

Michael Katz: I love reading all the stories in this universe. I do especially love this one about Green Hell with Roy, Sam, and Partner. I can't wait to read more!

3fxs749: This is a very well written and thought out book about a dystopian future filled with computer-made genetically engineered dinosaurs who roam the land while the last remnants of humanity struggle to survive. One man’s half-successful experiment could tip the balance of this world to the favor of ...

Capsi.rum : Story is unbelievable but i m bit off about end because there should be reunion of hamilton with all of his friends that's it

James Lawson: I enjoyed this so much I immediately bought (and read) the sequel from Amazon.ca - and am eagerly awaiting the third installment.Since this is a review and not a synopsis, I'll share my impressions rather than write out a condensed version of the plot. There were enough plot twists and turns to ke...

NancyRichFoster: This second book of the Anmah Series was as awesome as the first story, I disagree with spare runner. The names were ordinary names with different spellings, which I for one loved. I am now going to read the third book in this amazingly awesome story!

Deleted User: I love your use of writer's craft and how you use figurative language to enhance your writing. It great how you didn't have any spelling or grammar issues.
