Sam is an independent young man, living on the island of Lakshwadeep. An enthusiastic hunter, he finds the lifeless body of a young girl on one of his escapades. Sam decided to help her, and takes her back home, where he nurses her back to health. An expert natural healer, Sam uses his skill to provide the best possible treatment he can. He is drawn into nostalgia, where he recollects his childhood, spent in an orphanage, under an abusive care taker, whom little Sam runs away from. He is taken in by a lonely widow, who looks after him like her own son, before she is killed by a local don, who takes Sam under his wing, to repay his adoptive mother’s debts. Sam is eventually trained to become an assassin, but one particular assignment leaves him incredibly scarred and desperate for solitude, Sam leaves his old life in Mumbai behind and escapes to Lakshwadeep. In Lakshwadeep, Sam saves the life of an old Irish man called Mr. George, twice, and ends up being the heir to all his property and his gun store. The mysterious young girl eventually recovers under Sam’s care, but suffers from memory loss. She recollects her name, Maya, and bits and pieces of her past life.

briggy1998: I really enjoyed the book, even though I had to skip a few lines, because at times it could get a bit disturbing🙆🏻😅What I would have liked is if you could have given a bit more insight into jack's and fiona's relationship, especially the epilogue was a bit short 😬Other than that an amazing story!

mray2174: I did like this story. I would totally recommend it to a friend, but it didn't seem like a book. Your writing style reminded me of a fan fiction writer, always adding in tiny details and making things like "Oh, my name is [name that no one would ever name a child] and here is my life story. Oh, d...
