introduction
I was sitting in my room when it happened.
I'd been reading, attempting to get my mind off of my most recent fiasco when the wall I was leaning on got unbearably hot. I don’t know how I hadn't noticed the rising heat before, but boy did I notice it now. Not a few moments later, after tentatively deciding to ignore the heat, did I hear the sirens. There was a sound that reminded me of when my family goes on vacation, too, frantic and... excited.
A searing pain suddenly ripped through my leg. I opened my eyes, fire.
That’s all I remember, that was the beginning of the end, my death.
