Roll-Call
"Alright, it's time for a roll-call!" an adolescent girl wearing a ruby colored hoodie announces.
Everyone in the room sits up straight to listen in for their names to be called.
"First on the list is Boy Lightning. Boy Lightning, are you here? If so, tell us a little about yourself," the girl says.
A boy with luminous golden hair and emerald green eyes raises his hand, "I'm here! I'm Boy Lightning and my super power is the ability to transform into a lightning bolt and my partner is Hondrill."
The girl smiles, “Thanks Boy Lightning. Next on the list is Copper. Copper, are you here?"
A boy with long copper colored hair raises his hand, "Of course I'm here! I was the first one to get here! Well, besides you because this is your house… My name is Copper and my super power is super speed! I don't have a partner because, well, nobody actually likes me..."
"That's not true! Everyone in this room cares about you very much!” the girl says, frowning, “Anyways, next on the list is Cynthia, which is me. I'm Cynthia and I have no super powers, I'm just an ordinary girl who lives in a trailer. However, I have become really skilled at working with robots, which is why my partner is Omega."
Everyone smiles at Cynthia.
"Next on the list, we have Golden Cloud Angel or GCA for short. GCA, are you here?" Cynthia asks.
An angel with fluffy golden curls and sapphire colored eyes raises her hand, "I'm here. My name is Cloudy and I am an angel. I can fly and use a sword or bow depending on my mission. My partner isn't with me currently because she had to stay and guard the Magic Sword. Her name is SOTS, which is short for Spirit of the Sword."
Cynthia looks back at her list to make sure she got the name correct, and then she speaks, "So if your name is Cloudy, why are you listed as Golden Cloud Angel or GCA?"
"Well... GCA is all my initials, but my friends just call me Cloudy," Cloudy responds.
"Okay. So the next person on the list is Hondrill. Hondrill, are you here?" Cynthia asks.
A girl with wildly curly amethyst colored hair and green eyes raises her hand, which has a silver bracelet on it, "I'm present. My super powers are super speed, super strength, and super hearing. You may think I have everything, but I must say, I have plenty of flaws as well. My partner is Boy Lightning, like he said."
Cynthia points to Hondrill’s bracelet, "What was the reason for your bracelet again?"
"I was given this bracelet to remove my excess energy because I wasn't able to control it all and therefore was unable to stop running," Hondrill says.
Copper smirks, "At least I can control myself!"
"Yeah, but I bet I'd easily beat you in a race!" Hondrill says.
"Calm down guys! I won’t tolerate any fighting here at the meeting, we are a team!" Cynthia says, “Next on the list is Jack. Jack, are you here?"
There is no response, so then Cloudy speaks, "Jack isn't here. He couldn't make it to the meeting because we decided to have it during the day and he's more of a night person."
"Makes sense, I heard he was actually a vampire," Cynthia says, "Alright, since Jack isn't here, next on the list is Omega. Omega, are you here?"
A humanoid robot with gold armor and a uniquely designed helmet raises his hand, "Yes, but please call me Maygah in front of everyone. I am a robot and I can do all kinds of things, even carry people inside of myself if I wanted to. My partner is Cynthia as she has already stated."
Cynthia nods, “Alright, so we will call him Maygah even though his name is Omega. Next on the list is PineCone. PineCone, are you here?"
A boy with hair as silver as the moon and blue gray eyes along with silver wolf ears and a silver wolf tail raises a hand, "Yes, I am PineCone. I originally was a normal boy, but after some enter dimensional traveling, I somehow became part wolf so now I can transform into a wolf whenever I'd like. My partner is Timber."
"Ooh, I bet that rarely happens to anyone! Now, it looks like we have just one final person on our list. Last but not least, Timber Gold Wolf, or just Timber, are you here?" Cynthia asks.
A girl with long wavy golden hair, blue eyes, and golden wolf ears and a golden wolf tail raises her hand, "Yes I am... I am Timber and my mom is a human, but my dad was a wolf, so I'm half human and half wolf. I am a wolf girl. Uh...I transform into a wolf every time I run, even if I don't want to transform and I got kicked off the track team back in 9th grade... It was embarrassing..."
"So now we all know each other, how about a party? I'll call pizza and order soda," Cynthia says and goes to the phone without waiting for a reply.
