The next day, at 8:30 a.m., Ariel woke up and tried to get herself together before Keon wakes up. After Ariel finishes washing up, she put on her bra and panties. Then, after he woke up, Keon crept up behind her, picked her up, and put her on the bed. Then he starts tickling her all over, and she starts laughing really hard.
“Stop!” Ariel laughed “Stop Keon!”
“I can’t!” Keon said sarcastically with a laugh.
“Yes you can!” Ariel laughed.
She suddenly breaks free of Keon’s grip. Then she sits in the bed, grabs his hands, and pulls him in the bed. He tried to get away, but Ariel sat on top of him to stop him. Even though she didn’t weigh that much, she had a pretty good grip around his waist with her legs.
“Now it’s your turn,” she said as she starts to tickle him.
Keon started laughing really hard as well. A few seconds later, he broke free of Ariel’s grip, picked her up by her waist while he was still in the bed, and started kissing her.
“Mmm…” Ariel said with a giggle. “Wait! I have to get ready to go over Sam’s house.”
“O yea…” Keon said disappointed.
“And plus, the guys are comin’ over here!”
“Damn! I forgot!” Keon shouted
*Ariel got up quickly from Keon’s lap to put on the rest of her clothes, but he grabs her hand* “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing,” he answered while kissing her favorite spot on her ear.
“Keon…” she said trying her best to resist him. “We have company coming over.”
“I know, but can we do something right quick?”
“It’s really hard to resist a sexy slim body like yours…and your hazel eyes.”
“Same here. Sometimes I can’t resist your strong muscles and brown eyes.”
“So come on!” Keon said as he pulled her towards him
“No Keon. Later okay.”
“Good,” she said then hit him on the butt “Now get dressed.”
*He hit her on the butt* “You too.”
Ariel put on a blue short-sleeve shirt with blue jeans and her favorite blue DC shoes. As she grabbed her purse and headed for the front door, Keon pulled her towards him again to give her a kiss on her forehead.
Ariel then walked out of the house, got in her camaro and drove off while honking “goodbye” to Keon. Then Keon went inside, closed the front door, and went upstairs to put on a t-shirt and his black jeans.
As Ariel was on the road, a truck came out of nowhere while on the wrong side of the road. Ariel had to get over on the opposite side to get out of its way, and then quickly get back on her side before any other cars came by.
“Bastard!!” she shouted “I’m so sorry for cussin’ Lord. I’ve been hanging around Veronica too much, and I know that’s no excuse. He had no right to get mad at me for that when he’s wrong! Shit! I’m irritated now!”
Ariel finally made it to Samantha’s house and she was trying her best to stay calm. When Ariel got out of the car and walked up to Sam’s front door, she took a deep breath and rang the doorbell, and Sam answered right away.
“Hey!” Ariel said then gave Sam a hug.
“Come on in. Everyone’s here.” Sam said as she closed the door behind Ariel.
“All the girls?” Ariel asked nervously.
“Yeah! What did you think?”
“I was just asking,” Ariel said.
“Well, this is your wedding, and we want everything to be perfect.”
“That may be what you want, but that may not be what you get.”
“Okay Ms. Fortune Cookie.”
*Ariel gave Sam a hard tap on her forehead as she reached the top of the steps to meet the rest of the girls*
*They hugged each other*
“He’s Isaiah! How’s Keon?”
“Keon is Keon. I can’t tell you how he is anymore.”
*Veronica laughs then sits down while Ariel sits next to her*
“So what took you so long to get here?” Veronica asked.
“Sorry girl. I had a late start this morning.”
“Mm-hmm…You and Keon must’ve done a quickie.”
“No we didn’t.
“Sure…” Veronica said with a smirk
“We didn’t! I promise you.” Ariel said seriously.
“Hmm…okay.” Veronica said, rolling her eyes.
“I’m tellin’ the truth.”
“I believe you. I’m just playin’.”
“Alright!” Niecy shouted “Let’s get back to the real reason why we came here okay. Its fine to just sit and chat, but we’re here because we’re planning Ariel’s wedding day. So let’s get together and plan the most awesome wedding day she could ever imagine!”
“Whoo!” Veronica shouted.
“She’s right,” Samantha said. “This should be the happiest day of her life, and it’s our job to make it that way.
“Well, not completely your job,” Ariel said.
“What do you mean?”
“I’m trying to find a team of wedding planners to help us plan this wedding.”
“Why?” Veronica asked.
“Because I think we need help.”
“No we don’t!”
“I agree with Veronica,” Niecy said. “We got this!”
“Yeah! We can handle this ourselves!”
“Well, I’m already talking to someone about helping us.”
“Who?” Sam asked.
“Her name’s Coryannah Ford,” Ariel said.
“Cool!” Niecy said.
“At least it’s not a big team of people.”
“Yeah. The only team I wanna work with is the catering team,” Veronica said.
*The doorbell rings*
“I wonder that is,” Niecy said getting up to open the door.
*Niecy opens the door and sees an unfamiliar girl behind it*
“Hi. I’m Coryannah and I’m here to discuss wedding plans for Ariel Pax.”
“Ariel! It’s for you!”
*Ariel comes down the stairs while Niecy welcomes her in* “Coryannah?”
“Ariel?” she said surprised.
“O my God!” Ariel said then hugged her.
“Uh…did I miss something?” Niecy asked in confusion.
“Sorry Niecy,” Ariel said while laughing, “but I haven’t seen Coryannah ever since high school. You still look good girl.”
“Well, you know me,” Coryannah said then laughed, “You look good too!”
“Well I try too myself,” Ariel said while she put her hands on her hips. “Let’s go upstairs now.”
“Shall we?” said Coryannah
“We shall,” said Niecy.
*The three girls went upstairs to the den, and sat on the couch, while Veronica and Samantha sat in chairs in front of the three girls*
“Veronica, Samantha, this is Coryannah. She’s gonna help us plan the wedding.”
“Hey!” said all the girls
“So, are you guys ready to get started now?” Sam asked
“Let’s get started,” Niecy said. “Why don’t we continue with the questions we asked Ariel yesterday?”
“That’s perfect,” Sam said excited.
“What questions?” Coryannah asked.
“Well, we basically asked Ariel some questions about the description of how her wedding should look like.”
“Okay,” she said *she opened to a fresh, clean sheet of paper in her mid-sized black notepad and took out her pencil*
“So Ariel, would you like a traditional wedding or maybe a different style?”
“I don’t want a traditional wedding. Don’t get me wrong, they’re nice and everything, but it’s too ordinary for me. I want something that has some style to it.”
“So what did you have in mind for the theme?” Samantha asked.
“I was thinking of more like a Japan theme…and I want it to be like a place in Japan that’s close to the water…sort of like a beach.”
“That sounds nice,” Coryannah said quickly while taking notes.
“I know right,” Ariel said as she sat back.
*Veronica turns to Ariel and sees her staring off into space* “What’s wrong chica?”
*Ariel then snaps out of her daydream* “Huh? Oh, nothing. I was just thinking about what Keon would want as a theme too. That’s all.”
“Well that’s good,” Niecy said. It’s your wedding. You do what you want.”
“It’s not just my wedding…its mine and Keon’s wedding…OUR wedding. We both have to make this event the best day of our lives. It needs to be a day that we’ll always remember, and never, ever forget.” Ariel said as she looked at her ring on her finger, while holding it close to her heart.
“Aw…” Veronica said.
“That’s beautiful,” Coryannah said.
I agree!” said Niecy.
“It was very romantic,” Sam added.
“Well, let’s get back to the subject okay,” Ariel said with a smile.
“Okay,” said Sam.
“How big do you want the wedding?” Coryannah asked.
“I don’t know. I don’t want an enormous wedding, but I don’t want it super small either.”
“Do you want to go with it being medium-sized then?”
“Alright. Now let’s talk about the cake.”
“Oooo! Can I make it?!” Veronica shouted.
“Yeah!” Ariel answered.
“Whoo-hoo! How big do you want it?”
“I want it at least three feet tall. Keon and I have big families. For him, it’s on his mom’s side, but for me, it’s on both my parents’ side. So, just think about it….It’s gotta be a big wedding…and the invitations…God!”
“Well, you don’t have to send invitations to all of your family members,” Coryannah suggested.
“You can just send invitations to any family members you talk to the most.”
Hmm…I’ll think about that.”
“Glad to be of service,” Coryannah said with a laugh.
“So what kind of shoes do you wanna wear?” Niecy said.
“Umm…I don’t necessarily want flats, but at the same time, I don’t want high heels. I wish I could wear some specially made shoes, but I can just imagine the price. ”
“That is a good idea and I agree with you about the prices,” said Samantha.
“Or she can just get married on the beach and don’t have to worry about any shoes at all,” said Coryannah.
“That’s a good idea,” Ariel said. “I like that.”
“Okay,” Samantha as she checked some things off of her list. “What about the food?”
“Yeah, we already have the type of cake you want,” said Coryannah.
“Speaking of cake,” Ariel interrupted. “I want the trimmings to be blue.”
“Okay,” said Veronica.
“Alright…” Coryannah continued, “We need to have someone to cater the wedding.”
“Yeah. Who do you want?”
“I was thinking about Jade Garden, but I’m also thinking about Strawberry Hill.”
“I love Strawberry Hill!” Samantha said excitedly.
“There food is soooo good!” Niecy agreed.
“Who says we can’t have both?” Veronica suggested.
“Our budget,” Coryannah answered. “We have to think other things such as paying for Ariel’s wedding dress, the decorations, printing out invitations, having a pastor…”
“A pastor?!” said Veronica. “Are you really gonna pay a pastor to stand and tell you to repeat words that you probably won’t mean in the next few years.”
*Ariel tapped Veronica really hard on the side of her head*
“I think we should just concentrate on the decorations,” said Coryannah.
“Okay,” Niecy said.
“O my gosh,” Ariel sighed. “There’s so much to, and so little time.”
“It’ll be alright. We’ll get it done,” said Samantha.
“Yeah, don’t worry about a thing,” Coryannah agreed.
“We got you covered,” Niecy said.
“Especially with me in charge,” Veronica added.
“O yea, no problem,” Ariel said in a sarcastic tone.
“I can handle it!”
“I know you can. I was just joking.”
*Veronica gave her a blank look, then quickly smiled and hugged her*
*Ariel puts her hand on her throat, then swallows* “I’m thirsty. Anybody want something to drink besides me?”
“I think we all would like a drink, wouldn’t we girls?”
“Mm-hmm,” they agreed.
“Well, I’ll go make some tea then,” Ariel said as she got up and went into the kitchen.
“Okay,” Coryannah whispered, “now let’s get to more important matters.”
“The bachelorette party! Duh!”
“O yea! I forgot all about that,” said Niecy.
“Me too,” Sam said.
“How could you guys forget about that! That’s like…the second most important thing ever!”
“What’s the first?”
“The wedding silly.”
“And I should let you know I’m officially in charge of getting everything ready for the party.”
“Why you?” Sam asked.
“Do you wanna figure out what place the party’s gonna be, the decorations for the place, calling people and dealing with their bitch-like attitudes, and to top it all off, figure out how much everything is gonna cost?”
*O.O’* “Uh……no thanks.”
“That’s what I thought. Anyone else?”
*The other girls just shook their heads ‘no’*
“Alright. Like I was saying, I got everything straight.”
“So you got everything together?”
“Yep. I even got the place.”
“What?!” Sam shouted.
“Is everything okay in there?” Ariel yelled.
“Everything’s fine!” Sam said, then sighed. “Okay, fine. We can have the bachelorette party at my house.
“Yes!” Coryannah cheered. “Okay, now we have everything set and ready to go!”
“Alright!” Veronica cheered
“Alright what?” Ariel said, coming out of the kitchen with the tea on a tray.
“Alright…we picked out some good music for the wedding,” Veronica hesitated.
“Oooo! Tell me!...Wait, don’t tell me…Just tell me!...No wait, don’t!—”
“How about we let it be a surprise to you? Sound good?” Niecy said.
“Yeah,” Ariel agreed.
*All the girls got their own cup of warm jasmine tea and took a sip of it*
“This is good,” Coryannah told Ariel.
“Julia Childs did it again!” Sam said.
“It’s just tea. It’s not like I cooked a gourmet meal for us to eat.”
“But you could if you wanted to right?”
“I guess so.”The girls continued to throw Ariel off of their trial. Even though it was hard them to keep this secret from Ariel, they enjoyed the conversation they were having.
