The Bachelor Party

Mikal decided to go over Keon’s house to talk to him about something urgent. He walked up to the door, rang the doorbell, and patiently waited for Keon to answer, which only took a minute.

“Hey, what’s up man?” Mikal said as he stood in his long t-shirt and shorts.

When Keon opened the door, he didn’t have on a shirt. All he had on was some jeans and with underwear (of course) and some socks.

“What’s up? Come on in.”

*Mikal walks in and turns to Keon* “I just came to discuss some important business with you.”

“Which is…?”

“Your bachelor party.”

“My BACHELOR party?”

“Yep. We already found the perfect place for it.”

“Did you just say ‘we’?”

“Yeah. Monterrious got the hook-up.”

“Monterrious….It figures….”

“What’s up with you?”

“Nothing. It just sounds like something Monty would do.”

“Yeah…so, what do you think?”

“I’m in.”

“Good. You better be. We don’t wanna let all our hard work go to waste.”

“Hold on! You got everything set up?”

“If you mean the decorations and stuff…then yep!”

Mikal said with a smile while on his way toward the door.

“But what if I said no…then what?” Keon said.

“Then it would just be a party that we’re going to,” Mikal answered while completely out the door, then ran back to his house. “Be there at seven!”

“Alright!” Keon shouted, then he closed the door and looked at the clock. “Six! Maybe I can take a quick shower before I go.” *he ran up the stairs* “Damn it! Mike didn’t tell me where the place was for the party. I’ll call him. He’s probably at home by now.”

*Mikal walks in the front door to his house* “Home at last.” *his phone vibrates* “Who the fuck is calling me?! If its one more unknown caller, I’m gonna track the number down and kick their motha fuckin’—” *O.O* “Oh damn, its Keon…Hello?”

“Hey Mike.”

“You forgot to tell me where the party’s gonna be.”

“Oh yea! Uh…it’s gonna be at Club 30 on Booby Cay—the one on Morant Cays. It’s gonna be awesome. You still interested?”

“You had me at Booby Cay,” Keon grinned.

“Alright, I’ll see you there!”

“You know it!”

*They both hung up their phone and then took a shower before leaving*

~It’s 7:00!~ Keon thought.

He was in no hurry to get dressed. He just put on some black jeans, put on a long-sleeve, white t-shirt that had a picture of a white suit all around it with a black tie going straight down the middle. Then he put on his brand new white NIKE shoes and walked out of the door. The place wasn’t too far from where he lived. In fact, no place around him was except for the Taj Mahal shopping place. Keon liked to walk anyway, so it wasn’t a big deal to him about how far the place was…but for the other guys, they act like the club was on the other side of the world.

When he arrived at Club 30, everyone was dancing and having the time of their life. Almost the whole place was lit up, and the corners were the only dark places in there. The music was very upbeat from inside out, filling the whole place with its continued thumping. Keon recognized the song. It was “Fast Lane” by Bad Meets Evil ft. Eminem. He spotted Mikal, Trey, Isaiah, and Monterrious over at the bar. They weren’t drinking, but they were just sitting and looking around…especially Monterrious, so Keon walks over there towards them.

“What up!” Monty said.

“Hey,” Isaiah said.

“What’s up?” Trey said.

“Hey man, you made it!” Mikal said to Keon.

“Wouldn’t miss it! So what’s going on?”

“Nothin’. Just lookin’ around.” Monty said as he looked at some girls pass by.

“Yeah,” Mikal agreed.

“Uh-huh,” Trey added.

All of a sudden, cute girls came out of nowhere. About seven of them surrounded the guys with their slender figures, tight dresses, nice sized boobs, and white smiles.

“Now this is what I’m talkin’ about,” Monty said while having one girl on each side of him as they put their hands all over him.

“Oh yea!” Mikal agreed while having two girls in front of him.

“Hi. You must be Keon,” said a girl while walking towards him.

*He just nodded with a small smile while two other girls came behind the first girl*

“You’re so cute. Do you work out?” one girl said while touching his chest.

“I like your hair. Can I touch it?” another girl asked while touching his hair.

“My work here is done,” said Monty, “Let’s go ladies.”

“Whoa whoa whoa!” Mikal said while stopping Monty. “Ladies could you give us a minute?”

*The girls didn’t go anywhere. They looked at him as if he was speaking a different language*

“It’s okay girls. I’ll see you later.”

“Okay Monterrious.”

“Don’t be long.”

*While they left to go and sit at a bright red couch, he starred at their frame from behind and then turned his head back at Mikal* “Dude, what’s your problem?”

“What’s MY problem? Did you all those girls to crowd around him like that?”

“And your point is…?”

“Keon is over there flirting with other girls when, hmm, he’s supposed to be engaged to Ariel.”

“Okay, obviously, you need to chill. Relax bro! Why are you so uptight all of a sudden?”

“I just don’t want anything to go too far.”

“It’s not like Ariel’s gonna come in here. Just chill! Nothing’s gonna happen.”

*Monty signaled for the girls to come back towards him and they obeyed*

Isaiah was still at the bar by himself looking at other girls, while the rest of the guys were sitting on the couch by the dance floor, talking to the girls. Isaiah had three huge pictures of the strongest drink on the menu: the Caribbean Port Antonio. After his drinks, he burped really loud with wind blowing down two guys that sat next to him.

“Sorry,” he apologized.

Back at home, all the girls were over at Samantha’s house to discuss something as well. All of the girls knew what to talk about except Ariel. They didn’t wanna tell her at first, but they decided to do it anyway.

“So why are we all here?” Ariel asked.

“We’re here to discuss your wedding reception!” said Veronica.

“My wedding reception! Oh my God! I completely forgot about it!” Ariel exclaimed.

“Well that’s why you have us! We already have some ideas down on a list, but we didn’t wanna get too far ahead of ourselves without your approval. So we wanna know what you think about them,” said Sam.

“Hmmm…Everything looks good,” she said after reading over the list carefully.

“Even the drinks?”

“Yeah,” Ariel answered.

“Okay,” Sam laughed. “Now everything is set, and we even picked out a place!”

“Where is it?”

“That’s a surprise Ariel,”

“Well a bride has a right to know where her wedding location should be because her wedding shouldn’t be like a Halloween party, unless you’re a pure goth or something.”

*Coryannah laughed* “That’s true, but trust us. It’s nothing like Halloween okay.”

“Don’t worry, you’ll find out soon enough.”

“Alright, now what are we gonna do about the music?” Veronica asked.

“Oooo! My friend knows a guy who’s an awesome DJ! I can introduce you guys to him if you want,” Sam said standing up.

“Right now?”

“Yeah! He works at this place called Club 30, which is supposed to be the best and most popular club on the island, but I’ll explain more on our way there. Let’s go.”

“Wait, shouldn’t we use change clothes first?” Ariel asked.

“You read my mind,” Coryannah agreed.

The girls went over to their own bags to change from their p.j.’s to their cutest top, a pair of sexy jeans, and the cutest high-heeled shoes that they had so they could have style while heading out to the club.

“Now I have to admit, this is much better,” Ariel said.

*Coryannah and Samantha laughed*

“Let’s go,” Niecy said.

They walked all the way to Club 30 with their heels off. They didn’t mind walking sometimes, but this time is okay only because the club is not that far away. On the other hand, Ariel loves walking as much as Keon does, which is all the time. As they approached the club they quickly put their heels on their feet. They were kind of nervous at first but they instantly got over it and finally walked inside. After that, they immediately walked around to find the DJ so they can get the hell outta there.

Meanwhile, Keon was on the couch talking to a bunch of girls about some bad things that’s happened in his life. He’s had three martinis, but he didn’t feel drunk at all.

“Aw!” the girls said in unison while two of them scooted closer towards Keon to cuddle him while another rubbed his knee.

“I’m so sorry that happened to you.”

“Thanks Candi,” Keon said.

* “Yeah!” by Usher feat. Lil Jon and Ludacris starts to play; and then one girl gets up from Keon’s shoulder*

“Oooo! I love this song! You wanna dance?”

“No. That’s okay.”

“Oh yes you do,” she said pulling his arm.

“No really it’s fine.”

“Oh come on. Let’s dance,” she said pulling his other arm for him to get up.

They quickly made their way to the middle of the dance floor. The girls started dancing right away while Keon just stood there clueless. The girls were smiling and having fun while Keon seemed like he was stuck in one position.

“Just loosen up!” Candi shouted.

*Keon started to dance more and more fluently*

“Yeah! You got it!”

Keon was really getting into the music. Soon he started twirling two girls at the same time. Then he pulled Candi to one side to dance with her. While that was going on, Ariel and the girls got a chance to finally meet the DJ.

“Dave!” Sam shouted as they walked towards him

*He waved back*

“Ariel, I want you to meet my friend Dave! Dave, this is Ariel!” she shouted over the music.

“Hey!” Dave shouted.

“Hey!” Ariel shouted back.

“We were wondering if you could play some music for Ariel’s wedding,” Sam said while winking. “You interested?”

“What about Mark? I can’t do anything without my partner.”

“Yeah sure. He can come too.”

“Well, I’ll do it…depending on the pay…”

“We’ll discuss that later. So you wanna do it or not?”

“Alright, I’ll do it,” he said with a smirk and looks at Ariel, “but because she’s so pretty…it’s free of charge.”

*Ariel laughed and rolled her eyes* “I’ll take it. Thanks.”

“No problem,” he said while looking at her frame. “My music makes everybody dance, even if they don’t want to…*he looks down at the dance floor*…take those two for example.”

*Ariel also looks at the dance floor and then she sees Keon dancing with another girl. Then she stares at them*

“I bet those two didn’t even wanna dance until they heard my music,” Dave continued.

“I bet,” Ariel said.

“Is that Keon?” Sam asked.

Keon was dancing from behind Candi while constantly touching her waistline. He worked his way up her breasts, and then back down to her waist again.

“You know that guy?”

“Yeah…unfortunately…” Ariel said. “So I guess I’ll see you at the wedding reception.”

*Dave glanced at Samantha nodding her head at him, and then he smiled at Ariel* “Yes you will.”

*Ariel giggled* “Alright,” she said making her way from the DJ’s table to the door while the rest of the girls followed her.

“Are you gonna do something about Keon?” Veronica asked.

“No,” Ariel answered.

“What do you mean ‘no’?”

“I meant what I said Sam.”

“So you’re just gonna let Keon—” Sam stopped and noticed Mikal kissing another girl.

“Sam?” Niecy asked.

“Let’s go,” Sam said.

“Now you’re speaking my language,” Ariel agreed.

“Get off me Lily!” Mikal said, pushing her off him. *He noticed some girls that looked familiar to him walking out the door, and then he recognized one of them with a surprised reaction* “Sam?!”

Keon heard Mikal call Sam’s name and wondered why he did, but it didn’t take him long. He then noticed Ariel start to walk out the door. Then he eased away from Candi to wave at Ariel. Ariel just looked at him and then stormed out.

“Ariel!” he called as he saw Mikal chase after Sam.

“Wait! Where are you going?” Candi said grabbing him.

“I’m going to find my fiancé,” Keon said.

“You’re married?”

“I’m ENGAGED. There’s a difference.”

“But she could be anywhere. Come on and stay with me,” she begged.

“No Candi. I have to go.”

“Please….Just one more dance.”

“I said no!” he shouted then walked away.

“Fine!” she shouted back then walked off.

Keon ran outside to catch up with Ariel, who was walking down the sidewalk. He then passed by Mikal and Samantha arguing at each other.

“Who was that girl you were kissing?” Sam asked.

“It’s not what it looks like,” Mikal said.

“Oh. So it wasn’t you who was kissing that ho. It was your evil twin.”

*Mikal looks down* “Look, Sam…”

“Just forget it!” she shouted and then stormed off.

“Sam wait. Samantha!” he shouted as she walked off with Niecy and Coryannah.

“Shit…” he said to himself. “I’m dead.”

“Ariel!” Keon shouted after running past Mikal.

*She ignored him and continued walking*

“Ariel,” he said as he caught up to her and then grabbed her arm.

“Don’t touch me!” she shouted while snatching her arm away from his grip.

After they heard Ariel shout, the girls decided to stay on the corner of the sidewalk just in case she needed some backup.

“I can explain…”

“There’s no need to. You were obviously enjoying yourself while dancing with that slut!”

“Just listen to me please?”

*Ariel took a very deep breath*

“The guys and I were just having a few drinks. After that, I was kinda depressed—”

“From what? You know you could’ve just talked to me about this right?”

“I know, but I was trying to bother you and find some relief…so I just let go…”

“You just let go….That’s your excuse,” she said with her arms folded.

“If you wanna call it that…”

*Ariel wanted to say something else, but she just sighed deeply* “Okay.”

“‘Okay’ what?”

“Just…okay,” she said calmly then walked away. “You can go back to your party babe!”

He had a confused look on his face and then walked back inside Club 30. He went to the bar to sit next to Isaiah. Isaiah had four empty pictures sitting in front of him, and he didn’t feel drunk at all…not even a little bit.

“Wow, did you drink all of these glasses?” Keon asked.

“Yep,” Isaiah answered, then burped again.

“Damn, I wish I could do that.”

“No you don’t.”

“Yeah I do. I wish I could just drink away my problems…but unfortunately I can’t.”

“Why not?”

“Well, Ariel and I got into an argument, and now I think I’m sleepin’ on the floor tonight.”

“What did you do?”

“Here ya go,” said the bartender as he slid Isaiah’s drink towards him, “and what will it be for you sir?”

“Give me the Snake Venom,” Keon said.

“Alright. I’ll have our mixologist bring you one shortly.”

“No problem.”

“So tell me what happened,” Isaiah said curiously.

“Basically,” Keon sighed, “I got drunk and Ariel saw me dance with a girl who wasn’t worth a buck fifty.”

“That’s it…just dancing?”

“Well, I was dancing like I was about to have sex with her.”

*Isaiah took a drink from the pitcher* “So let me get this straight: you got drunk and danced with a ho; then Ariel saw you, got mad for a second, and then let you off the hook without killing you.”

“Yeah,” Keon said with a nod.

“You’re gonna have a cold-ass night,” Isaiah said taking another drink.

“I REALLY messed up big time.”

“Yeah you did.”

*Keon sighed and took a sip of his drink, and Isaiah did the same*

“Actually…I knew this would happen.”

“I thought it was just a dream…the fact that you and Ariel were gonna have a fight…but apparently it wasn’t…”

“Why didn’t you just tell me?”

“Because in my dream, it was much worse than this. You actually slept with Candi.”

“Oh man! I can’t believe—Wait…how do you know her name?”

“Don’t tell anybody…but I come here every night to get away from everything. It actually feels good coming here, especially with the owner giving me drinks on the house.”

“You get drinks for free?”

*Isaiah nodded*

“Damn Isaiah. You come here a lot then.”

*Isaiah nodded again*

“You must have a lot of problems with Veronica.”

“All of my problems are not all about Veronica! I have other personal shit I deal with! Don’t get me wrong, she has her days…we both do…but we work it out.”

“Sorry dude. So let me ask you this: why are you drinking so much now”

*Isaiah sighed* “Because my sister is really sick right now. I don’t wanna talk about it.”

“I’m sorry to hear that man.”

“Don’t be. You didn’t do anything to her, so don’t worry about it.”

“So do you know what you’re gonna do?”

“Nope. Do you know what you’re gonna do about Ariel?”

“Nope,” he said with a sigh.

“All I can say is just give her some space and let her cool off.”

*They suddenly hear feedback from the microphone on the DJ’s turntable, which was in the back of the club*

“What’s up everybody?! How y’all doin’ tonight?!” Dave shouted.

*Everyone in the club, except Keon and Isaiah, cheered*

“A’ight, that’s what I like to hear. I just wanna thank y’all for havin’ me as your DJ tonight, but I gotta go—”

“Aww…” everyone said.

“I know. I would love to stay and party with you all night long…”

*Everyone starts cheering again*

“…but me and my bro Danny are headed to my good friend’s bachelorette party on Ocean View Beach, which is gonna be jumpin’! Now I would invite y’all in a heartbeat, but its invitation only. So I gots to go! But for now my homeboy Mark is gonna take good care of y’all while I’m gone a’ight. Peace!”

*Everyone cheered and starts dancing as soon as the music starts back right away*

“Is that why the girls were here?” Isaiah asked.

“I don’t know…*stands up*…but I’m gonna go find out,” Keon said.

“Wait. Are you actually gonna crash the party that Dave’s goin’ to?”

“I wanna find out if Ariel’s gonna be there. It may be why the girls came here, but I’m not gonna assume anything. Like I said, I’m gonna find out what’s goin’ on at that party…and you can’t stop me Isaiah, no matter how hard you try.”

“Actually, I was gonna ask if I could come with you…just in case you need some back-up, or for some other shit that may go down.”

“Oh… *:P*…well, okay. Thanks.”

“No problem.”

“Let’s go.”

Then Keon and Isaiah left from Club 30, got into Isaiah’s car, and drove off going 200 miles per hour because Dave was a fast driver.
