Chapter 2: Caspen
I watched through the rain as the little girl pulled on her sister’s arm. Her sister, Tressa they had called her, seemed reluctant to leave but eventually began to pack up the vegetables. I was standing behind one of the shacks across the square. I didn’t want them to know I was still there.
This attack had to planned carefully. I didn’t have time to screw around and I know Boss would get impatient. Get the girl, minimize distractions, and get back to Fallwald as quickly as possible. The only problem with the last one was that the town of Fallwald was all the way across the country and it took me two weeks to get from there to here. Nonetheless, timing was key. I had to make sure I didn’t screw this up because if I did, I would surely be dead.
