Chapter 8

The day before Leo and Camilla were to leave for her parent’s home, Leo went to pick up the rings he’d ordered for her the week before. Since they had decided to tell her parents they were already married, he figured having a ring on her finger would make it look more official.

So, they’d gone together to the jewelers. They’d ended up going to four different ones before Camilla found what she deemed the ‘perfect’ ring for him.

Leo had chuckled, but she argued that since was forever, it need it to be special!

So, he’d given in gracefully and let her buy him a ring.

It had come in yesterday, and she’d gone to pick it up. She’d then come home all excited and placed it on his finger with a kiss. Of course, that kiss had led to other things most pleasurable!

He glanced down at his left hand where the ring now sat and smiled. It was simple men’s signet type ring with a ruby stone on it.

Camilla said she just thought ruby suited him better than a diamond would.

He had agreed with her because he really did like rubies.

Camilla’s, on the other hand, was a lovely ring with a heart shaped ruby surrounded by sapphires and diamonds.

He’d gone with that because ruby was his birthstone, sapphire was hers, and you need to have the traditional diamonds for the bride! Her band is simple gold with three tiny diamonds on it. He just hoped the real thing is as lovely as it seemed in his head when he’d thought it up.

Pulling up to the jewelry store, he walked in and quickly picked up the rings, which had been paid for up front when he’d ordered them. Opening the box up, he smiled down at them, turning the box this way and that in the sunlight and watching them sparkle.

Camilla was going to love them!

The buzzing of his cellphone had him pulling it from his pocket. Tapping the connect button, he answered, “Vogel.”

“Mr. Vogel, this is Chad. I was calling to verify use of the jet tomorrow,” a male voice said.

“Ja, I will be needing it. Have it fueled and ready to go at six o’clock tomorrow morning. The flight is to South Dakota,” Leo informed him. He then gave a few more instructions.

“Alright Mr. Vogel, my crew and I will see you in the morning,” Chad said before hanging up.

Leo sat back in his seat and started the car. It was official, he was leaving what had been his home for almost three years now. Tomorrow he would be headed for South Dakota to meet his Geliebte’s family.

He gave a sad sigh, looking around the town as he passed by different places. Leaving was never easy, even at his age, but this was the first time he would be going somewhere by himself and not with the rest of his family.

“Yes, Shelly! I’m finally coming home,” Camilla said with a laugh when her friend finally stopped squealing.

“I can’t believe it! After almost five long months without you, you’re coming home. Girl, we have got to have a girls’ day out, so you can tell me everything.” Shelly said, calmer now.

Camilla nibbled on her inner cheek, thinking about exactly what she wanted to tell her friend.

“Camilla…you’re being quiet,” Shelly said. “What are you not saying?”

Camilla sighed, her friend knew her too well. “Um…it’s just that it may be a while before we can do that because…”

“Err! Just tell me already!” Shelly shouted.

“Okay, okay, calm yourself, I just…”

“CAMIIILLLAAA!”

“I’M MARRIED! I’M MARRIED OKAY!” Camilla shouted back in a rush.

Silence.

“Um…Shelly?” Camilla whispered now.

“Well, that was unexpected,” Shelly finally answered. “I figured your father planned to put you straight to work and would work you like a slave for a bit to make up for being gone, but WOW! I have no words Camilla.”

“You knew I was going to look for my soulmate Shelly. You know how I feel about the men in our town. They’re nothing but male gold-diggers, and I want no part of them,” Camilla reminded her friend.

Leo walked in as she waited for Shelly’s reply, and gave her a smile before walking over. Picking her up, he sat down with her in his lap.

She lay her head back on his chest and gave a content sigh.

“Alright then,” Shelly said, sighing. “Give me his name. I’ll ask for the finer details when I see you in person because I want to see your blushes when you do but give me a few details now.”

“Okay, well, his name is Leo Vogel, and he’s thirty-six. He has four brothers and together they own and operate a car dealership. Um…he’s originally from Germany and has the cutest accent! He has dark brown hair, cut like really short and blue eyes.”

Shelly laughed. “Short hair huh? I bet that won’t last long, and blue eyes,” she sighed, “gotta love blue. You know that an accent is just icing on the cake, ’cause they’re so adorable. Bring his brothers with you though because if your gonna have a mister, I don’t want to be a third wheel!”

Camilla looked up to see Leo with a slightly puzzled look on his face and giggled.

“Sorry sister, two of them are taken. I’ll see if I can talk the other two into a visit soon, so you can meet them,” Camilla told her.

Shelly huffed. “Fine. Look, I hate to end our call, but my lunch is over, and you know how Mr. Bale gets if I come back late. So, I’ll see you when you get there.”

“Okay, bye Shelly.”

“Bye Camilla.”

Camilla hung up the phone and tossed it onto the sofa seat.

“That was your friend Shelly?” Leo asked after giving her a kiss.

“Yes. She’d the best, and I can hardly wait to see her again,” she said smiling.

“So, what was the comment about short hair all about?”

She felt her face heat up a bit. “Ah, well, I kinda had a celebrity crush when I was young on a guy with longer hair. It wasn’t so long you could put it in a ponytail or anything, but it was longer than yours.”

He hummed a bit, then said, “I seem to remember you asking why I kept my hair so short. Could it be that you don’t like short haired men?”

Her mouth dropped open in shock. She was about to argue with him, until she saw the twinkle in his eye. She huffed.

“Don’t make fun of me, and no, I have no problems with your shorter hair. I just thought, young girl that I was at the time, that running my hands through a man’s hair sounded…um…” she stuttered to a stop, her face now flaming.

Leo chuckled as he lay her down on the couch. He then hovered over her as he said, “It’s okay little on. I only cut it this short in the summer when it’s hot. In the winter I wear it more like Bruno, longer on top and short of the sides.”

She nodded. “It’s okay Leo, I actually like the way it looks.”

Leo leaned down and began kissing her again.

Soon she forgot all about hair, and everything else except him!

The next day, Leo and Camilla were up early. They finished the last of their packing, before heading out for the airport in a rented limo.

“Okay. So, we have our marriage certificate, and the prenuptial agreement. You know Leo, I really don’t want to show that to my father,” Camilla said, glancing over at him.

“I know you don’t little one, but I thought it best to have one anyway,” he said.

Leo had decided to have his lawyer write up the prenuptial agreement, even thought Camilla didn’t want one, and he knew they wouldn’t ever need it. The thing was, she knew the truth about him and his family, her parents however did not. If a piece of paper would put her parents at ease, and make it easier for them to except him, then he was willing to have that piece of paper.

He glanced over at her and saw she was staring at her ring. He grinned, she had loved it and had called his Mutter and his sisters-in-law to tell them all about the beautiful rings he had gotten her.

Pulling her close, he kissed the side of her head and murmured, “I’m really glad you like your rings. It makes me happy that you are happy little one.”

She looked up at him with a smile before she pulled his head down to hers for a kiss. The kiss soon became heated and her moans filled the limo.

He pulled her onto his lap, his hands moving up her skirt and squeezing her upper thighs.

“Ah…Leo, you make me so…!” she broke off to moan again as his fingers found her womanly folds and began their assault.

She whimpered as she buried her face in his neck.

He knew she was trying to scream as her hips jerked in rhythm with his fingers. He moved his lips to her neck, kissing around her mark. Then with a lick, he sank his fangs deep. That’s when he felt her inner muscles contract around his fingers.

She then bit down the on his neck, muffling her scream of release.

He groaned as he felt her wet his hand.

“Leo, now I’m a mess,” she whispered.

He pulled her fangs from her neck then, licking it as he moved back to look at her. “Mm…and I’m aroused, hard as a freaking rock. Man, who knew dress pants could be so tight.”

She giggled.

Then, she shocked him by getting down on the floor of the limo and unzipping his pants.

“Then let me help you with that love,” she said huskily as her mouth closed over his engorged cock.

Best ride to the airport ever!

Reaching the airport and climbing out of the limo, Camilla stood in shock. Before her sat a jet, but not just any jet, a private jet.

How did she know it was a private jet? Because on the side of it was a giant falcon and under that the name “Vogel” was written in bright green letters.

“Leo, you own this jet?”

“The family does. I rarely use it though. Bruno does most of the traveling that has to be done for the business. Vater and Mutter take spells where they do a lot of traveling also. I thought I told you about the jet?” He asked as they began to walk.

A man had come and loaded their luggage onto a cart and was transporting it to the waiting jet. Another man had come to stand at the bottom of the steps they would be climbing to get inside.

“Well, yes, you did. I suppose I didn’t realize you were serious though,” she told him.

“It’s alright little one, I know it’s a lot to take in.”

“Yes, it is. My dad has a lot of money, but even he doesn’t own a jet,” she whispered as they entered into the cabin of the jet. It looked more like a room in a house then a jet except for the seats which had safety straps.

“Make yourselves comfortable, sir, madam. We will be taking off in five minutes after the luggage is loaded,” the man in a captain’s uniform said.

“Thank you, Chad,” Leo told the man.

The captain, Chad, nodded with a slight bow. He then turned and went inside a room at the front and closed the door.

“Let’s sit. There are some things I need to tell you before we arrive,” Leo said.

So, sitting down, and strapping in, she waited for him to speak.

“So, I talked to a realtor earlier in the week and she finally got back with me yesterday. With everything else going on however, it slipped my mind until now. I don’t know if you had thought about where we would stay or not,” Leo said.

“Not really. I suppose I thought we might stay with my parents, at least for a little bit,” she told him a bit nervously.

“I figured as much, but Camilla, with my…eating habits that would have been a bit difficult,” he reminded her.

“Yes, I guess you wouldn’t want to explain why you put bottled blood in the fridge to the cook huh?” She asked him with a giggle.

“Not really. So, I decided to rent a house, although, if we like it we have the option to buy. I took a virtual tour of it, but” he shrugged. “Who knows if it will look the same in real life. If we don’t like it though, we can always look for something else. I also had a car delivered to the residence, one for you and one for me. There will be a limo to take us there from the airport however.”

“Oh, what about my parents? I’m sure they could pick us up and…”

“Nein, little one,” Leo said softly as he cupped her cheek in his hand. “After the flight, though it isn’t that long, I need my rest. Cooped up in this small place with the sound of heartbeats so close is hard on me. Even the sound of yours will start to affect me, and I won’t be able to do anything about it because of where we are.”

Camilla just nodded her understanding of his need and he smiled gratefully.

“This is the captain speaking. We are now ready for takeoff, please buckle up, and enjoy the flight.”

They sat silently while they waited for takeoff and as soon as they were in the air a lady came out of the back.

It was a surprise to have a stewardess, since it was a private jet, but Camilla just shrugged and went with it.

“Hello, my name is Raelynn, and I’ll be taking care of you on this flight Mr. and Mrs. Vogel. Anything you need just ask, and I will get if for you. Now, your mother mentioned you might like breakfast since it was such an early flight. Would you like something now?” Raelynn asked with a smile.

Camilla heard her stomach growl at the mention of food. “I would please. What do you have?”

“Bacon, sausage, pancakes, toast, OJ, scrambled eggs, and hash-browns,” was Raelynn’s reply.

Camilla licked her lips. “Everything but the sausage please! I’m starving!”

Leo chuckled.

“What about you sir?” Raelynn asked.

“I’ll take the same, with sausage instead of the bacon,” he answered.

“Alright then, I’ll be right out with that,” Raelynn said, and left.

Sitting back, Camilla leaned into Leo’s side and said, “I’m a bit nervous about seeing my parents again, is that weird?”

“Nein, not really. A lot has happened since you saw them last, so I think it’s probably normal,” he answered as he played with her hair. He then brushed his thumb across her mark. “There is something else I wanted to discuss with you though.”

She looked up at him and their gazed connected.

“I started doing a bit of research into Smythe Enterprises, so that I would at least sound intelligent if you father asked me what I knew about it,” Leo began.

She smiled. “That doesn’t surprise me Leo.”

The thing is, I don’t think you’re going to like what I’ve found out,” he told her with a solemn look.

Her smile left her face and she frowned.

What was Leo talking about?
