"Are you sure?" Jerry asked as they waited Danielle. He thought she was hiding something and said thing was bothering her.
"I'm sure," Miranda told him while rolling hers. "We want Austin to stay a breathing organism and if he hated me afterwards. I'll live knowing his okay."
"If you're sure."
"I trust you, it's myself I doubt."
"That makes no sense," Jerry told her from the chair he was sitting on. Miranda was sitting next to Austin on the bed. The seal was slowing down the already slow poison. "What do you mean by that?"
"I didn't tell you everything."
"What didn't you tell me?"
"I'll need to 'drink' some of Austin's blood," Miranda told him while looking at her bare feet. "And I'll need to give him some of mine, this will stop him from going crazy. At least it should."
"I've seen it work."
"I thought only Summer co-"
"Then what method as you using with Austin?" Jerry asked her.
"There's Summer method."
"And the other one?"
"Mate. You can change your mate into a full blood."
"His your mate!" Jerry shouted looking at her with an open mouth. "Well, at least I like my sister in law."
"If he doesn't love me, at least he'll be alive," Miranda told him ignoring the 'sister in law' comment. "I would do the other one, but I don't have time to find it. Austin deserves to be with someone he loves, but if it comes down to that, I'll kill myself so he can."
"You must love my brother," Jerry said looking at her with a smile on his face. Miranda just looked at him with wide eyes, like she wasn't expecting him to say that. "He won't hate you. He never will, I've seen the way he looks at you."
"But I -"
"You two might argue, but that's normal for a couple, Mira," Jerry said cutting Miranda off from what she was going to say. "You'll see, everything will work out in the end."
"Miranda, are you ready to start?" Danielle asked as she walked into the room. Miranda quickly got off the bed, nodding at her sister. "Good, cause I've got two stones and a candle for a Mrs Hell."
"Thank you," Miranda said while putting the candle on both bedside tables and the stones with on the one on the red. "Jerry, it might be better if you and Danielle go to sleep. It's been a long day and after I finish this, I'll be hitting the hay as well."
"Danielle, I don't want you to see this. I don't Jerry to see this."
"Of course," Jerry said while taking Danielle's cold hand into his own and pulling her out of the room. "Can you show me where a guest room is? I think we both need our sleep."
"Of course," Danielle said.
"Thank you," Miranda whispered as the door closed behind them. Lighting both of the candles she looked at her soon to be mate. "I'm sorry Austin. I should've been more careful."
"Mira, it's not your fault," Austin said as he opened his eyes. "What's going to happen to me? I'm I dying?"
"I'm going to change you."
"Into a vampire?"
"It's going to be painful."
"Everything's painful," Austin told her while he watched her fangs rest on her lips. "I trust you. Mira, you should trust yourself. Please do it, I don't want to leave you and Jerry behind."
Miranda only looked at him, before pushing her fangs into his throat. She put venom into his neck, if she just wanted to change him then she could stop there. However she didn't want to lose him, she was being selfish and changing him into an immortal being, because she never wanted him to leave her.
Looking at him, she quickly pulled a small piece of metal across her wrists, watching as the blood went down her pale skin. Austin could only look at it, he didn't know what she was doing, but he got his answer when she gently pulled him to a sitting position. He kept his mouth shut when she put her bleeding wrist near his mouth.
"Austin, please," Miranda begged. "I don't want to lose you. Not to the madness of being turned, not to the poison that runs in your blood -"
"It's your blood."
"I just drank yours!"
"I don't want to hurt you," Austin told her putting his arm around her waist. "I'll never hurt you Miranda Black, not when I can help it."
"If you don't want to hurt me… then drink my blood."
"Mira, please don't make me."
"Austin…" Miranda said as she kept her magic from healing her wrist. "Don't make me watch you slowly die. That and I'm not going to let my wrist heal until you drink."
"I'll do it," Austin told her. Taking a deep breath he put his lips on the cut on her arms, letting her blood go into his mouth.
"Good," Miranda told him while she put head back down on the pillow, picking up the gems she put the diamond on the middle of his throat, the Turquoise in the middle of his forehead. "This will stop the pain, some of it. The seal should also stop some of the pain, but like gems not all of it. I'm sorry, really sorry about the pain you're going to go through."
"Austin, you'll be in this pain for the next three days!"
"It'll be worth it in the end."
"You don't know that."
"You'll see," Austin told her a smile on his face. He was in a bit of pain, but he was sure that was the 'poison' that Miranda told him about. "I love you, Mira, and I'll always love you."
"Austin?" Miranda asked. She heard him say something, but she didn't hear the words. However, he was asleep, since she heard that it was better if the person was asleep and not awake. "I've used too much energy," she whispered to herself going to the end of the bed and sitting. "I'll have to tell Jerry in the morning."
