It's been 10 years since Chesterville has been colonized by the Lycanthrope cursed race. Some say it's a curse but science says otherwise - some virus has gone wild. The city has become the wolves domain were the few humans that are alive are prey and the wolves are predators.Humans used to hunt down werewolves, burn them down like witches or stake them like vampires back when they weren't so rabid and wild. However ,somehow the wolves have become stronger, faster, more wild and insane. The Lycanthrope curse is like a virus - one bite and you are one of them or you die. Lucy and her friends are one of the lucky few humans that are alive and trying to survive in the werewolf domain. It's not exactly easy surviving in a world were humans have become the hunted, prey and food for wolves. Its not easier for Lucy either as her hell gets worse when she turns out to be the ruthless Lycan kings mate and she has to live among werewolves. But this is a whole new generation were Tables have Turned, the Lycanthrope species are everywhere like endless flies and the human race might just go extinct.

Chapter 1

“We have to run!” I screamed at Catherine but I knew she wouldn’t last another 30 minutes. I knew that I was going to suffer another loss- but that was life now.

She looked at me with the same pitiful eyes my family gave me before they were shredded to death by the wild dogs we call werewolves. She cried and laughed bitterly looking at her broken leg that had gotten an infection,“Go they are here!...they will find you. Where do you think I’m gonna go like this! I’m as good as dead" she screamed at me and I ran.I was used at this,at running without looking back-at letting go of the people i care about.

I ran and ran until I couldn’t hear her scream anymore. We shouldn’t have done it but it was the only way to get food, instead my best friend became their supper. It’s funny how we are actually feeding ourselves so we can be nice and healthy when they feast on us.Our deaths were inevitable-it was only a matter of time before they got to us all.

I arrived at our hiding spot and as expected a furious Jake stormed at me and gave me a well deserved slap - after all I had gotten his girlfriend killed.

“Where is she!,where is Catherine Lucy...”he screamed in my face. He knew she was dead,he knew they ate her like hungry zombies only they didn’t leave the bones . He almost punched me but stopped when we heard their growls, this only meant one thing-death.

Their viscous growls and gruesome orange eyes glowed in the dark forest surrounding us like demons, the eyes of death. I could hear Jake ’s heartbeat before he started screaming for his life, then I watched as the first predator crunched on his bones - it was like a gruesome horror movie only I couldn’t close my eyes. I waited for my turn ,it was inevitable because I always knew my turn would come and all I had to do was scream.

Emmanuella: I liked the fact that there no spelling mistakes or Grammatical errors. The plot though seems too cliché, a too good to be true kind of story meaning that it's not realistic

Linda Reizniece: It was quite spicy. I liked it. But i think the main female character shouldn't obey so easely. I wouldn't😋

Willica Clark-Williams: Awesome and I'm glad you didn't end it with a pregnancy or with kids 4 years later. And I'm happy that it wasn't dark! I've read a lot of novels where they ended up pregnant or that they had kids on down the road. Either they have the kids now or not, it shouldn't matter. They novel was wonderful...

rimshiza291: This story plot seems different from what I’ve read on galatea - granted i only read a chapter there but the events are described differently there; like she doesn’t like the clinic and she helps a boy with his knee on her first day among other stuff. Moral of the point: the plots don’t seem the ...
