Chapter 1

There once was a Boy who sat by a tree

In day he watched, during night he rested

Waiting for father who was lost at sea

He never quit for he was invested

“My father will indeed raise his anchor”

He said to himself with great gallantry

“He will return for he is no angler!”

Poor Boy sits and calls out his sadden plea

Poor father’s mocked by the voice of the blue

Years and years pass and Boy cries one single tear

And father whispers to him a fond adieu

Little does he know, father shan’t return

The ship he had sailed had been overturned.
