preface & author’s note
welcome to the witching hour, a young adult novel that may or may not include a possessed witch, an elite Academy for supernatural beings, werewolves, goddesses, and clowns.
for all intents and purposes, this book is unedited. this means that there might be some plot holes, grammar goofs, and inconsistent storytelling. before updating each chapter, my goal is to double-check everything i write to make sure that my mistakes will not disrupt the flow of the book. this is the part where i rely on you. if you catch mistakes, feel free to point them out. if something doesn’t make sense, ask questions.
fantasy is a genre in which an author has to create a whole new world from scratch. it’s a difficult feat to accomplish and i hope you’ll bear with me as i work it out. i’ve fallen in love with the world i’ve created in my head, my hope is to get it out on paper (iPhone screen? laptop screen? i don’t know) and give you the opportunity to fall in love with it too.
there is only one other copy of this book on the internet and that’s on wattpad. if you see this book anywhere else other than wattpad and inkitt, it’s a plagiarized copy and i want you to know that it can be read for free on those two sites.
lastly (especially for those of you that were reading this before), i'd like to apologize for dropping off the face of the Earth without letting you all know. i've spent the last few months heavily re-editing and refocusing the direction i wanted this book to go in. i used wattpad to do this and, now that this book is nearly completed, i wanted to bring it back to inkitt. after all, this is where it had its beginnings.
i hope you enjoy,
