Rosie slowly dropped her knees, by her bedside.
A seventy year old habit since her mama taught her to say her first bed time prayer, when she was just a wee little girl of five.
She was no longer as nimble and her knees protested a little.
"Father, thank you for Your blessings! Our baby girl just got married to a wonderful man today. I know she ll be well taken care of.
Lord... I have no more worries now. I'm ready to come home to You and to see my Ted again..."
She paused to wipe a tear at the thought of her late husband. Ten years had past, but she still missed him so much.
"But..I only want what You want. Not mine, but yours be done. I love You and goodnight !"
She crawled into bed and stifled a yawn as she murmured.
"And goodnight to you too, my dear Angelo!"
