Love, Magic, and Together

He grabbed her hand in panic and pulled her inside before anyone could hear her answer. He let go of her hand and she let it fall limply to her side. There was a thick silence in the room that could have been cut through with a knife. They constantly glanced at each other, in hope that the other person to talk first.

Then the girl finally spoke. "Why didn't you tell me this before?"

He looked into her dark and watering eyes, trying to escape the question he had been dreading since he first met her. He knew it would come some day, just not now, not so soon.

Nopichic19 : I like the story and the plot, I think they should have explored Maya’s home life and rejection a little more before she was able to move on. There are some sentences that aren’t structured right but not enough to cause confusion. Overall lovely story.
