Chapter 6

Sam P.O.V

During history, second period.

“Pssst.” I heard someone next to me. I looked towards the voice and found Brent.

“Yeah.” I whispered.

“So, he’s not your borfriend, that one who dropped you off this morning? Cause if he’s not....I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies with me, tomorrow?” Brent asked, with a hopeful smile.

“No he’s not, he’s ummm.....just a friend. And i would love to go to the movies, with you.” I whispered back. His smile grew even bigger. And we went back to listening to the teacher, talking about the Holocaust.

Lunch time had finally come. I came into the cafeteria. Zaya was waving me over to our normal table with Brent. Then there was Cole, Ryan and Xavier waving me over to their table. I walked over to my normal table, with Zaya and Brent.

“Is alright, if I just sit with them today?” I asked Zaya. She nodded, giving me an understanding smile.

“Thank you. I’ll talk to you later.” I said, giving Zaya a quick hug.

“You better.” Zaya said jokingly.

“Bye.” I said, then made my way towards Cole’s table.

I felt guilty for sitting with Cole because Zaya and I had always sat with each other. I wanted her to come with me, then if she came, Brent wouldn’t have anyone to sit with. And I definitely wasn’t going to bring Brent to Cole’s table.

“Hey.” I said, sitting down, in between Ryan and Xavier with Cole directly across from me.

“Hi.” They all said in unison.

“Are you’s like secretly triplets or something?” I joked and then laughed. We were all happily eating our lunch, until.

“Oh my goodness. What is she doing, sitting at the popular table?” Asked a really annoying, high pitched voice. Holly Robinson. Queen bee, of this high school, spoilt rotten, bully, light brown hair, dark brown eyes and fakest lips ever.

Holly was standing behind me. I twisted my body, all the way around to face her. “She’s allowed to sit here.” Cole said, gritting his teeth.

“She’s not even popular. Why do you even talked to her?” Holly asked, giggling. “Look at her, she’s pathetic. And I bet you, she isn’t even natural blonde. Your so pathetic, that I feel embarrassed for you.” She said. Cole growled, hopefully Holly didn’t hear it.

“One.” I said, standing up. “My hair is natural, so just because your jealous. Doesn’t mean you can pick on people. And two, move out of the sunlight, please, I can smell plastic burning.” I said, surprisingly calm.

Holly gasped. And placed a evil smile on her. “No wonder your Dad was killed by a vicious animal. He probably let the animal attack him so he’d be away from you.” Holly said.

‘How dare she.’ Leah growled.

Before I knew it, I lunged at Holly. Tackled her to the ground and repeatedly hit her. I was yanked back by someone. I punched them square in the jaw. And went back to attacking Holly. She was throwing punches. And missed every time.

Next, I felt, two strong arms wrap around my waist. I started kicking and screaming. “Let me go.” I screamed.

“Stop.” Cole demanded. I stopped struggling, there were people surrounding Holly, trying to help her. And then I realised a bruise that’s already formed, on Cole’s jaw. It was slowly fading, due to werewolf healing.

“I’m sorry.” I whispered, when I realised, Cole was the one I hit.

“Sam, to the principles office now.” Yelled one of the teachers. Cole slowly, let me go. And I speed walked out of the cafeteria.

Once I was in the principles office, I plopped down into a chair. “What did you do this time, Sam?” Asked the principle.

“Nothing.” I said.

“What did you do?” The principle repeated.

“Beat up, Holly.” I muttered, admitting what I had done.

“Two fights, in two days.” The principle sighed heavily. “Detention for two months.” He finished.

“Can I go now?” I asked getting up.

“Fine, but I want you to know. This school has a zero policy of violence.” He said, sternly. I walked out of his office and went to my next class. Considering the bell had went, while I was in the principles office.
