Pack Hierarchy

Alpha: Highest rank. The male leader of the pack. The only one equal to him is the luna.

Luna: Also highest rank. The female leader of the pack. The only one equal to her is the alpha.

Beta: The alpha’s right hand man; His rank is immediately below the alpha and his mate, and they are to step in as Alpha when the alpha pair is unavailable. Only the male first born can inherit this tittle.

Gamma: Third in command. The knowledgeable. They are to step in as Alpha when both the Alpha pair and the Beta pair are unavailable. Only the male first born can inherit this tittle.

Elders: Usually the former alphas and Lunas. They are rank high above the Beta and the Gamma. They have experience from their past leadership and are often seeked and treated with respect.

Pack Doctor: The healer in the pack, since werewolves cannot go to human hospitals.

Enforcers: The warriors/fighters. Males and Females (Usually without young children) and always at the front of the army in attack/raid; directly behind the Alpha.

Trackers: Have the best sense of smell. Can find just about anything if they put their mind to it. Situated just behind the enforcers and are well trained to fight as well.

Look-outs: They warn the pack of danger and fight only when needed.

Peacemakers: Usually only one per pack. they keep the peace in the pack by breaking up fights. They’re characterized by a very mellow personality.

Omegas: Lowest ranking wolves. They eat last and they are the punching bags of the pack. Usually assigned to housekeeping and cleaning.

Rogues: Werewolves who don’t belong to a pack. They are known to be untrustworthy. they do not like to follow orders and rules.

Important Terms

Moon Goddess: The one the werewolves worship. She created the werewolf race and she is who they pray to and who guides them through life. She sometimes appears to some in dreams.

Shifting: The term used when they turn into their wolves. The first shift is painfully, but after that it becomes a second nature. also, Wolves are naked when they turn back into their human forms.

Mate: Short for soulmate. The moon goddess destined every wolf with another wolf or a human. She did to make sure her race continues to reproduce. The male wolf are able of looking for their mate from the age of sixteen while the females can find them at the age of eighteen.

Pack: Like wild wolves, werewolves live in packs. Often the pack house is a mansion, as werewolves accumulates money because they are able to live longer than humans.

Aging: In my story. Once the wolves become of age, they age one year every ten.

Pups: What kids are called until they become of age.
