With the Nature Gods’, Rat, Firebird, Storms, and even the mighty Vulture’s failure to stop humans spread and wanton destruction of Earth’s flora, John, Lois, Clara, and Karla Amelia live a normal life. New London is rebuilt, and ten years after, it looks much different. Lois’s Demigod enhanced mind created an economic miracle, second only to New York City.
But another nexus point nears, and Aeon, the manifestation of Time, appears to John a second time and warns of a Never-Ending war. This means that the Firebird is back far earlier than it should. Unbeknownst to anyone, it had helpers who continued to stoke the ambers of a global conflict in Europe, Japans, and even closer to home.
The Knights of St Patrick believe that John is an unwanted God and try to eliminate him several times. But John is also developing, and while Lois is managing Stoddard Industries, he has become the target for the Knights and anyone else who wants to do away with the Tycoon Smith. One such attempt cost Archainbaud, Archer, his life and made Wehtu a widow. But there is a far greater threat than any of these.
The first three Eternals, the Primegods who created this universe and others, have power, enabling them to uncreate whole worlds. They have come to judge humanity. All it needs is for just one to deem humans a threat, and it will wipe out human life or, barring that, all life, even the planet, like the fourth world in the solar system.
The Earth Turtle, Primegod of planets, has been on earth for several hundred years, but its human state had an accident and forgot what it is. Its memory is returning, and as a survivor of the Great War and other atrocities, it has decided to end humanity by shifting a continent.
The Mother of Waters, Primegod of the Well of Life, chooses to be found by John, Lois, Clara, and Karla Amelia, as a baby. It has almost a century to decide how severely to cleanse the planet. It chooses to observe John, Lois, Clara, and Karla Amelia and humanity before it decides.
The third, the Primegod of Chance, the Coyote, possibly the mightiest of all, does not need to do anything much. It can enhance the chance of a catastrophe, and the world will end. With the atomic age and cold war era coming on, this could be as easy as someone pushing a button accidentally.
John, Lois, Clara, and Karla Amelia have to prevent this with a few new godly friends. Humans will be needed in two and a half millennia to save the universe. But, the Primegods are indestructible, and then there are the annoying Nature Gods.
There is a solution to all this, but how do you kill five to ten billion people and not kill them? If humans do not die, Earth will become another Sun orbiting ring of rubble. At most, they have 150 years, to save earth and humans Who will be instrumental in saving the universe.
