Chapter 5: The Invitation

Caleb Andino’s POV

We were standing in front of the house, in which I have come and spied on her for a couple of days now since her grandpa was gone. For good but I did not feel lighter in my weight. I think it was increasing as I left Marina alone in the woods and I know how much it drove those unmated males crazy.

But she’s ours, my wolf snarled at me as I was controlling it from claiming Marina right now.

“So, I was thinking that maybe you wanted to go to the folk festival with me?” I asked her after she said that her life has been mundane these past few days.

“Hmm, I just know you and now you’re asking me on a date. Aren’t you bold, Mr. Andino?” She purred at me as if she knew that it will drive me insane, insane with needs for her but I have to keep it cool and calm.

“Well, I was merely suggested there will be a festival and you just stated that you were bored, so I just wanted you to know that you can go if you wanted to,” I said as I was trying to not look so eager at that notion. If she went, I will be there beside her all night long.

What a life to have that moment.

I can see that the motor was turning in her head as she was calculating to accept or not for my invitation for that.

Please say yes, I hoped as I was crossing my fingers before she turned to look at me as she was smiling.

“That would be lovely. I should get out and mingle,” she said as she was inserting the keys to get inside the house. The clouds were getting darker and I don’t know if I can run fast enough to reach the packhouse.

“Would you like for some tea or coffee? The clouds were gruesome that I don’t think you might be able to get home fast before the storm,” she said as she was gesturing me to get inside. I was being invited into the house as she was trusting me. My wolf purred at that before I gulped.

“Are you sure it’s okay?” I asked her as I was confirming that she trusted me to be civil to her tonight.

“Come on, you seem like a nice guy and if you try to do anything, I know self-defense,” she said as she was smiling at me. I smiled briefly before I went inside the house and she locked the door.

Now, I feel like I was in a cage with a very alluring prey.

The storm was deadly as I was sitting inside the living room. The very place where I have killed her grandpa and I was enjoying a cup of tea right now with his granddaughter. She did not know that she talked to her grandpa’s killer.

“What are those marks?” I asked as I was pointing at some of the claws that I made and some of the bloodstains on the wall. She stopped abruptly before she continued to pour more tea into my cup. I thanked her.

“Well, it’s quite terrifying to tell the history behind it,” she said as she was smiling weakly.

“You don’t have to if you don’t want to,”

“Thank you, I appreciate that,” she said before she passed me the cookies and some cake that she baked this morning.

“So, what do you do for fun when you’re alone?” I asked her as she turned to look at me after stirring her tea.

“Well, I love to read. I read books and I liked to indulge them whenever the rain comes,” she said as she sipped on her tea. I was focusing on her delicate, full lips and my cock stirred at it. I have to shift to cover my boner.

“Are you alright?” She asked me as I was shifting uncomfortably on the sofa.

“Yeah, it’s just the lightning,” I lied as she stood up and went upstairs to grab something. My super-sensitive ears were picking up her movement as the duvet was shifted before she was coming downstairs. She was carrying the duvet and I went to help her.

“You don’t have to do it,” I said as I was carrying it to the sofa.

“Well, maybe I wanted to,” she said and with that, she kissed me.

Marina Kasun’s POV

The sexual tension was killing me. I cannot believe this specimen was not making any move to get to know me. Oh, I know he interested in me, alright as I can see he shifted uncomfortably whenever he stared at me. Well, my lips anyway.

So I decided for both of us. I went upstairs to get the duvet as he said that he was afraid of lightning. Maybe I can use this moment to get him under my skin or maybe between my sheets.

Jeez, I need to get laid but I just met that guy.

Something tells me that he was not dangerous and I think he was not afraid of me. He did not know me as I just warned him if he does anything, I will personally kill him.

Maybe he kills me first for making the move on him.

But, by his response itself, he did not want this to end. I wanted more of him as my lips were touching his right now, kissing the shit out of us both.

“Hmm,” I moaned as he licked my lower lips. I opened my mouth as his tongue dived into my mouth, tasting and encouraging my tongue to slip into his. I can taste his masculine scent and lovely tongue as we battled for dominance.

And of course, he won.

He drew me by the waist and I was holding him onto his neck. My arms were getting tighter around him as I can sense my erected nipples were grazing his broad chest.

“God, I have been waiting for you my entire life,” he rasped as he was kissing my jaws and neck.

“Well, that’s a lifetime. How old are you?” I asked as he must be joking that he never been with anyone before.

“25 years old,”

“We’re the same age,” I said.

“I know,” he said before he kissed me again. I was kissing him as I was pulling him closer and he pushed me backward as my legs hit the sofa. I landed on the sofa before he was on top of me.

“Do you have anyone else?” He asked. I was confused by the question as I blinked at him.

“What?”

“Never mind. Less talking, more kissing,” he said as he was drawing closer onto his laps as he was rubbing his erection to my wet core. It has been dripping since I first landed on him back in the woods and now, I think we were moving too fast.

Eh, maybe I don’t care that much?

I just wanted him for tonight as I have been so lonely and maybe he, this handsome stranger will be my getaway for tonight.
