I kept thinking about our kiss. I don't have a point of comparison, but damn, Storm had me melting with just a kiss. It was a very, very good first kiss and it was lava hot! Is this the reason why a lot of people play tonsil hockey? I never knew it felt like that at all. I used to think it was gross, but with him though, it was explosive and sent tingles down my spine and did funny things in my stomach. I couldn't get enough of it. It was actually a miracle that we were able to break apart. At some point, he even kissed my neck, licking the part that connects it to my shoulder. I don't know if it was just me, but I think he might have nipped it with his teeth a bit. It didn't hurt, but it did something to me. Like I didn't want him to stop.
He smells and tastes so good. Like mint and apple pie. A weird but heady combination and I love it. I kept tossing and turning, giggling and squealing, pulling my sheets up to cover my face and then pulling it back down to grin at the ceiling. Yup! I've gone possibly deranged and I don't give a damn. Storm kissed me and now I can't stop daydreaming about it. I also couldn't wait to see him again.
I was screaming into my pillow for the hundredth time when Dakota entered our room. "What's wrong with you?" she asked with a bit of worry on her face. "Wait, did my brother do something idiotic during your date? Cause if he did, I'm going to apologize on his behalf. He can be dumb sometimes." I giggled uncontrollably at her assumption. "No, no. I just feel so weirdly happy. We kissed and well, your brother is just so hot!" I said dreamily. "Stop, stop! Look I love my brother and all, but um eww!"
She hopped onto her bed and sighed contentedly. I looked at her trying to see if it's okay for me to ask questions about her brother. I know it must be horrifying for anyone to listen to people fangirl about their siblings, but I've never done this dating thing before and so it would be nice to at least get a heads up. "I can feel you staring at me, please don't do that while you're imagining my brother," she snorted and I threw my pillow at her. "I wasn't! But, can I ask you something about him?" She opened her eyes and looked at me. "As long as it's not about his "hotness" or sex life," she said with a disgusted face.
I started with basic random questions like the things he likes to do, what he does most of the time, or the food he likes to eat. Then I moved on to his dating history which Dakota had not a lot to say about because Storm never had a girlfriend, although he did have flings which kind of made me jealous. Okay, it made me hella jealous. Then she mentioned a girl named Elise who followed Storm everywhere since they started high school and she still does until this very day, but he doesn't pay much attention to her. Now, that sent my blood boiling.
She told me about how they all grew up together and by they, she means Storm, Wyatt, Hunter, and her. She admitted that she was the bratty younger sister who kept following them around. The three boys never really felt annoyed that she did that, in fact, she told me that they were overprotective of her and they allowed her to tag along wherever they went. I learned that Storm likes to take care of other people and he's very respectful to his elders. He's generally an amazing guy.
I was amazed at the idea that their family including some of their distant relatives of almost three hundred people live in the same area, it's like an ancestral land or a town inside the city. The closest relatives get to live in a really huge house, and the rest were scattered near it. I guess that explains why a lot of people greet them everywhere, those people might be a close or distant relative. I can just imagine how massive their family tree would be.
I leaped out of bed clumsily and way too high than I intended when I noticed a message appear on the screen of my phone and I almost landed face first. I guess my reflexes were on overdrive because I was suddenly in a crouching position. "What the?!" Dakota stated clearly as baffled as I am. I stood up and shrugged before grabbing my phone on top of my study table.
Storm: Do you wanna hang out for a bit?
Storm: Yeah, now. I'll pick you up.
Me: It's a school night, I have a lot of school work to tackle.
Storm: I don't know if you know, but I'm pretty smart. I can help you with those.
Me: Hmm... I don't know. Dakota said you can be dumb sometimes.
Storm: She's lying. She does that a lot. Don't believe her. I promise I'll help you study. Please?
I turned to face Dakota and screeched. She covered her ears and rolled her eyes at me. "Jesus! Are you turning into a dolphin or something?" I bounced up and down clutching my phone to my chest. "Storm's going to pick me up. Wanna tag along?" I eagerly asked. "No offense, but you're probably the only couple I don't want to third wheel on," she said. "Suit yourself," I gleefully said.
I went about putting my books and school stuff inside my backpack and changed into comfy clothes such as a fitted pink hoodie, faded skinny jeans, and sneakers. Once I was done, I hugged Dakota goodbye and headed downstairs to wait for him.
