Beached Beauties

"All I can remember is begging her to stay...begging her not to leave me...and you crying about how terrified you were about what was going on...and she didn't even care..." The triplets were born under the covenant of the iridescent sea. As young mermaids, they each were destined for a greater purpose being raised as noble princesses of the Atlantic Kingdom. The regional matriarchs were in a bit of a race due to an uproar between distant territories that deeply threatened their children's safety. Soon enough, tragedy struck when they were only five years old, leaving the girls helplessly beached beside an abandoned cove atop the golden sands of the Florida Keys as refugees without their parents to guide them. The story takes place eleven years later, where a lot has changed pertaining to their lifestyle. However, despite all the time that's passed, they still ache from their separation and are starting to come around with trying to uncover the mystery of what happened to their biological family and culture. The truth is, what the girls thought would be the end was only the new beginning to questions that have been left unanswered for all these years. More will be revealed to them in these few months than what has become clear in their whole lives. If they can surpass these upcoming challenges, then all will be revealed as darkness finally turns to light.

Before we begin

Hello to whomever has taken the time to tap read on my story. I would first like to thank you for your time. It means a lot to see any kind of support!!!! 🥳

As this quick little intermission is titled, there are a couple things I'd like to express before you read.

The first thing I'd like to say is that this book is NOT finished. I know that the word "incomplete" tends to scare off a lot of potential readers, but I'd like for you to hear me out. My friend and I've been working on the beginning of this series for at least four years and yes I know I still have a long way to go and compared to the amount of time I've spent making this I do have an insufficient amount of progress. However, I've made writing this my passion and it has my undivided attention since I haven't chosen not to delve into other projects. I'm confident in making sure I see my passion for writing this through, and my motivation hasn't faded since I've decided to write this with a great friend and I truly hope that is enough for you to continue reading this.

Secondly, the main reason we've made the decision to post the story on Wattpad is to make great connections, open opportunities, and allow beta readers to give feedback on our progress and give the unbiased truth on whether the story is...well...any good and what we can do to make it better. If there is any way you can help, it would be greatly appreciated. We only just graduated from high school last month, so please excuse any inexperience or lack of professionalism, we're trying our best. 😅

Lastly, this book has a total of 22 chapters and counting. They're fairly long so it shouldn't be too stringent. These are already pre-written, so it's not going to be too much of a struggle to upload consistently for a while if this story actually makes some sort of traction on this platform. Right now, I don't have a schedule for how to upload, but I'm not quite sure if I want to lay everything out on the table because I'm trying to figure out the best approach to bring in as many readers as we can in addition to giving time for any last minute changes we want on certain chapters. I promise that more is coming, we just need to see how things play out.

I love how I said this was a brief intermission yet this is practically a five paragraph essay. Anyway, if you actually took the time to read this thank you so much, make sure to leave your thoughts, and enjoy the story!! 🤗

~Happy reading 💖
