It's the middle of the 1950s. Danielle and Alexandra live in the middle of the woods, in a cabin. It's small, but they call it home. Danielle's mother died when she was 14, and her father wasn't in the picture. The house got taken, and her friend Alexandra took her in. 5 years later, the two start to realize something is different with their friendship, something more intense. But before they can figure out what it is, their cat, Biscuit, mysteriously disappears into the woods. After waiting for days for Biscuit to re-appear, they realize she must be really lost in the woods. At that realization, they pack their bags and head out on a journey to find her. But is Biscuit the only thing that they will find in that forest? ;) (IK SO CHEEZY)

author's note/info

Hello! I don't know if anyone is actually going to read this, but I assumed I'd just give some information before I start to get into this. This is a total work in progress and I have no idea if it will end up ok, bad, or just eh. Or good, but I don't expect that, to be honest. The reason why I'm posting this is that when I first started to kind of draft it, I could truly picture the scenes. I believe that's an important quality in a book, so I assumed I'd give it a go. If lots of things change while I write it I am so sorry, I kind of just wing it when I write. (I know, such a bad habit :<) I would honestly appreciate it if you guys (if anyone at all) comment ideas lol or like move it along statements. I am having trouble figuring out what the conflict is. But without further ado, the totally gay book, Painting Stars.

(side note, this is totally pg bc i don't know how to write a kiss scene so i mean sorry to deprive you :< )
