Chapter 1: Blood's Point of View

I was dreaming about Winder and I looking for Twilight because the Night Crawlers took her. We were killing anyone that got in our way, it was great. When we were about to tear off the leader’s head someone pulled on my arm in real life. I opened my eyes to see who I would have to kill for waking me up. When all of a sudden I hit the floor.

I grabbed the person’s wrist and started to twist it.

“Ow!” The person yelled.

I looked up at the person who had pulled me out of bed and saw Twilight biting her lip from the pain.

(Twilight is the same height as me which is 5’11. She is 16 and has black hair with blue streaks in it. She has black eyes with blue flakes in them. Her hair and eye color are natural. She has a Russian accent like me. She is wearing a short-sleeved white shirt with red stripes around the collar and on the sleeves that has 88 on the front. She had on black ripped jeans and she was wearing black slides with black ankle socks.) I let go of her wrist and stood up.

“Why would you do that!” I yelled at her. “I could have broken your wrist!”

“I know but I need your help. I can’t find Winder and I am afraid he went outside,” Twilight said with a worried look on her face.

“I doubt he would be stupid enough to go outside in the daylight,” I said putting my hands on my hips. Right when I said that we both heard a falcon screech.

“Oh no!” We both yelled as we ran over to the window.

When we looked outside we saw people screaming and running. There were a lot of dead bodies. All of a sudden we saw a green falcon start to dive toward a woman.

“Twilight freeze him!” I screamed.

Twilight ran out of my room and to the front door. She opened it, put up her hands, and pointed her hands at the falcon, ice shot from her hands and hit it. She made sure to not let the sunlight touch her. When the ice hit the falcon it froze and started falling to the ground. Twilight created a slide made of ice that landed the bird right into our house.

“Good job now we wait until tonight and then unfreeze him,” I said as I slammed the front door closed. I went into my room and climbed back into bed. “But until then, goodnight.”

After a couple of hours, I woke up to my alarm. I turned it off and went over to Twilight’s room to wake her up. Her room was just like the rest of our house. It had holes and spots where the paint was coming off on the walls and the door had bullet holes in it. Her room had as much stuff as mine and Winder’s did. One bag with her clothes in it and the clothes in which she had worn the day before were in a pile on the floor and then a dirty mattress in the middle of the floor.

“Twilight get up,” I said, shaking her.

“I’m up. I’m up.” Twilight said stretching. “Why am I up?” She asked as she sat up in her bed.

“We have to unfreeze him,” I said pointing past her doorway where there was a frozen falcon in our living room. “Then we have to start packing and find a new home,” I said as Twilight groaned.

When Twilight finally got out of bed she started to pack her things. Luckily we don’t have a lot of things in our house. We move around a lot so we make sure to have very little stuff so it doesn’t take too much time for us to pack and unpack all of our belongings.

While she was doing that I went into the living room to unfreeze the falcon. Our living room was not the nicest living room you have ever seen. The walls used to be a nice white color but now the paint is black and peeling off. There is only one couch in the living room it is old, has no cushions, and all of the springs in it are broken. Everything in the house is like that broken and run down. The overall tone of the room is just depressing, but it makes sense because it has been abandoned for years.

I walked over to the frozen falcon in the middle of the living room. I touched the falcon and the ice on it instantly started to melt. Once the ice melted the falcon stretched his long, majestic, green wings. All of a sudden a gust of wind came into the room and lifted the falcon into the air and almost made the falcon touch the ceiling.

The wind brought him back down but he was no longer a falcon, but a boy. He was the same height as Twilight and I. He is 16 and he has black hair with green streaks in it. His eyes are black with green flakes in them. Both his eyes and his hair are natural. He has a Russian accent like Twilight and I. He is wearing a camo short sleeve shirt, with blue jeans, a Chevrolet hat, and gray sneakers.

“Winder why is the living name of god did you go outside during the day?” I yelled at him putting my hands on my hips.

“I was sleepwalking again. I was having this dream where Twilight got taken by the Night Crawlers so you and I were trying to get her back. We were killing anyone in our way. And right when we were about to tear off the leader's head I woke up. When I woke up it was too late I was already outside and turning into a falcon.” Winder said.

It was normal for Twilight, Winder, and I to have the same dreams. It probably was because we were triplets, but we tried not to think too much about it.

“You guys may have to start chaining me down to my bed,” Winder said to me.

“That’s a great idea. In fact, we could go get the chains right now. Let me just go grab all the extra money we have.” I said in a sarcastic tone.

“Do you always have to be so sarcastic?” Winder said, rolling his eyes.

“I don’t have to be, but life is more fun that way,” I said flipping my hair behind my shoulder.

“True,” Winder said. “But we should probably start packing.”

When he said that I used my super-speed and raced into my bedroom and packed all of my stuff in three seconds.

“Done,” I said going back over to him. “You haven’t even started packing and I am already done. Shame on you.” I said crossing my arms and shaking my head at him.

“Shut up and leave me alone so I can pack.” He said rolling his eyes and walking away. He went into his room and started to pack so I went into Twilight’s room to talk to her.

“Hey, you ok? You were quite the entire time I was talking to Winder.” I asked her as I walked over and sat on the mattress.

“Ya, I just don’t want to move again. I was actually starting to like this town.” She said sitting down next to me on the mattress.

“It will be fine. It is better for us to move around so that the Night Crawlers don’t find us.” I said. “Now do you want help packing,” I asked. She gave me a weak smile and said that she would love the help.

After we all finished packing we set off on our long journey to find a new house. Only Winder knew where we were going, but he wouldn’t tell me or Twilight where the actual hell that was. Since we did not have a car we had to walk to...wherever it was that Winder was taking us.

“So where are we going to live now?” Twilight asked, still sad about having to move.

“I don’t know,” I said. “Where are we going to live, Winder, or can you still not tell us?” I asked Winder as I gave him the death stare.

“We are heading to a cabin in the forest that I found so that if we do go out in the sun, no one will see us. That means we can stay there longer.” Winder said ignoring the death stare I was giving him.

All of a sudden we heard footsteps coming from all around us. Before we knew it we were surrounded. The sudden appearance scared Twilight, she tripped, fell to the ground, and hit her head which knocked her out. I looked at the people who had just surrounded us and realized it was some Night Crawlers. They found us! I instantly jumped into action.

“Winder get Twilight out of here!” I yelled getting ready to fight.

“But what about you!” He yelled picking up Twilight.

“Don’t worry about me! I will hold them off just go!” I yelled back at him.

“But..” He was about to argue but must have decided against it. Then he ran off with Twilight leaving me alone with the Night Crawlers.

One of them started to run up to me. I turned toward them and shot fire directly at their torso. They flew backward and crashed into two others before hitting a tree. I fought off at least fifteen Night Crawlers all of them with different powers, strengths, and weaknesses.

All of a sudden ten people came at me at the same time. While I was fighting off those people someone came from above me and hit me on the head. Everything went black.
