Chapter Sixteen: Trekking Through the Forest

Akira squealed as she was carried through the forest by her Vampire Warrior, her Wolf Warrior left behind.

“Malique, stop!” she shouted, using her Havent voice.

Malique found himself stopping and stared at her.

“Where did you learn that?” he asked, his eyes traveling over her face.

She smirked. “Did you forget who trained me? Now put me down.”

Malique did as she said and watched her straighten her shirt.

“Now,” she said, looking into his violet eyes. “What the fuck is going on?”

Malique stared at her for a moment, then grinned. “Potty mouth.”

She smirked. “You two are a bad influence on me.”

He tilted his head back and laughed, then looked at her, a twinkle in his eyes. “I’m kidnapping you.”

She blinked. “You—you can’t do that.”

He moved so fast she squealed as she was pinned against a tree.

“He got his turn with you this morning. Now I want mine.”

She blinked. “Wait, this was about….”

He kissed her, and she felt her body melt into the kiss. She loved both of her Warriors so much, but she wants, no, she needs to know what happened back there. She pushed him off her, and he panted, staring at her.

“Tell me what that was about. Why did Wolfric throw you against a tree?”

Malique smiled. “Don’t worry so much, little one. It did not hurt, and I knew it was coming. That’s why I dropped the bags.”

She blinked. “Why did he do it?”

He shrugged. “Calling him Dog is the trigger. We have been doing it for thirty years. It is how he gets out his aggravation without hurting anyone. The minute I said it, he knew what I expected him to do.”

“So that no one gets hurt?” she asked, dumbfounded.

He nodded.

“What about you?!” she screeched, giving him a shove.

He chuckled as he stumbled back two steps. “He can’t hurt me, love. I am a Vampire, remember. And not just any Vampire; I am an Upir. We’re a lot harder to kill, and I don’t feel much pain.”

“Much pain,” she mumbled. “How could Wolfie do such a thing?”

Malique gently caressed her cheek.

“Akira. Wolfric and I have been friends for thirty years. He knew he couldn’t hurt me, and he needed to get out his frustrations.”

“I knew it,” she said with a pout. “He’s angry with me.”

Malique captured her lips, and Akira moaned as she wrapped her arms around his neck. He ended the kiss with a deep sigh.

“He’s not angry with you, little one. He is sad because he knows he may not be your chosen mate.”

A tear slid down her cheek, and he wiped it away with the pad of his thumb.

“He loves you more than he thought he’d ever love anyone, even his Havent, his Psychi, his soulmate. But he has been a part of your life since you were three. That is a deep bond, little one.”

“So, if we hadn’t met when I was three, he may not love me?”

Malique chuckled, “he would still love you. Who could not?” he said, then kissed her nose. “But the bond is stronger because of the life you shared.”

He stopped her words with a kiss. “Akira. It is done, do not question the what-ifs in life. You’d go insane.”

She chuckled—he was right about that. She has so many what-ifs.

What if she had not been born an Empty Vessel? Would her father have loved her?

What if her father was a good man? Would she have been alone for five years in the wild?

What if she had not met her Direwolf when she was three? Would he still love her?

“Akira,” Malique whispered.

She blinked, her mind clearing.

Malique smiled and watched his Psychi’s eyes clear. “I love you, and I haven’t known you since you were three.”

Akira smiled and leaned her head toward him.

Malique groaned and kissed her. “You’re so sweet,” he said, then pushed her backside against the tree again.

“Why did you take off with me?” she asked, tilting her head back and letting him kiss down her throat.

He chuckled, “I told you. Wolfric got his turn with you this morning, and now it’s mine,” he said, then lifted her off her feet and wrapped her legs around his hips.

She moaned and held onto him.

“Need your pants off,” he grumbled as he set her down again.

He disposed of her pants and panties in record timing.

She shivered when the cold air touched her bare skin, then shivered again for a whole different reason when she was wrapped around his waist again.

“I love the sounds you make,” he said as he moved his hand between them and unzipped his pants.

She moaned when she felt the head of his cock against her opening. When he entered her, her world turned to pure fire. She saw and felt nothing but the flames of her Warrior slamming into her, hard and deep.

“Akira,” he breathed, continuing to slam into her.

“Mal,” she moaned, holding onto him with everything she had.

“Can I?” he whispered into her ear.

She did not have to ask what he wanted—she knew. She nodded and screamed when his teeth penetrated the skin of her throat.

“Malique!” she cried out as sensations vibrated through her body. “Oh my Gods,” she panted.

When he sucked her blood like this, she felt things she never knew were possible. Vampires were so sexual when they ate. Especially when it was someone they loved.

Malique moaned and sucked the delicious blood from his Havent. Wolfric’s warning penetrated his mind, and he reluctantly let go, his cock throbbing as he continued to slam into her again and again.

“Fuck,” Malique groaned, licking his lips.

Blood dripped down her throat, and Akira placed her hand against her neck, healing the puncture wounds from his teeth.

“Are you okay?” he asked, looking into her eyes.

She smiled and nodded.

He grunted. “Soon, you will have five men wanting to do this to you,” he said, slamming his cock even further into her tight pussy.

She moaned and tilted her head back. “I don’t think I will survive,” she mumbled.

He chuckled as he kissed down her neck. “Don’t worry, little one. None of us will give you more than you can handle.”

Akira nodded and closed her eyes, enjoying her Warrior fucking the shit out of her. She was sore from all the sex she had had since she lost her virginity a few days ago. Still, every time she is with her Warriors, all she can think about is how much she wants them inside her.

“Akira!” Malique cried out when her pussy tightened around his cock.

Akira screamed, her orgasm shaking her body. Her thoughts of fucking her Warriors had triggered an orgasm, and she was floating on air.

“Fuck,” Malique grumbled.

He slammed into her a few more times, then grunted when his cock jerked and released his seed deep inside her.

“I love you, Mal,” Akira whimpered.

Malique grinned and kissed her swollen lips.

“I love you too, little Havent.”

Wolfric whistled as he walked through the forest alone.

‘How long have they been gone?’

A noise behind him interrupted his thoughts, and before he could turn around, a body landed on his back. He dropped the bags when arms and legs wrapped around him, and a cold nose pressed against his neck.

“Akira,” he breathed with a sigh of relief, “don’t do that.”

Akira giggled and licked his skin.

His cock jumped, and he grunted. “Don’t do that either.”

“Did you miss me?” she whispered into his ear.

Wolfric smiled and turned his body enough to get hold of her. She squealed when he pulled her to wrap her body around him from the front, then took her lips in a searing kiss. Akira moaned into her Wolfie’s kiss. When he lifted his head, he was smirking at her.

“Always,” he said, then started walking again.

Akira giggled and pressed her face into his throat. Her arms and legs wrapped around him tightly.

Malique smiled and picked up their bags, following his friend as they continued through the forest. They were heading who knows where. Looking for their Havent’s next Warrior. He wished they could stop the search with just him and Wolfric, and he knows his friend feels the same.

But it is what it is.

Their Havent has three other Warriors, and one of them could take their little one from them. The thought made Malique sick to his stomach, so he changed his thoughts. But when he thought about Akira, he remembered their moment against the tree, and his cock stirred.

“Fuck,” Malique grumbled.

He closed his eyes and tried to concentrate on anything but the beautiful woman who had stolen his heart.

“Where are we?” Akira asked when they entered an area that looked like it had been burned to the ground by a volcano.

“Uh, Wolf,” Malique said.

He leaned forward, took hold of their Havent’s arm, and pulled her to his side.

Wolfric nodded. “I smell it.”

“Smell what?” Akira asked, looking at her Warriors.

Being a wolf and Vampire, they have very sensitive noses and can smell things she cannot. Which was not fair.

“The portal to the underworld is nearby,” Wolfric whispered.

Akira gasped and looked around. “You don’t think my Warrior is in there, do you?”

“Let’s hope not,” Malique said, pulling her closer to his side.

“Do you sense him?” Wolfric asked as he turned to them.

Akira closed her eyes and let herself feel. She could feel Wolfric and Malique and someone else, very faint. No, please do not let him be in the Underworld.

“Akira?” Wolfric asked, stepping in front of her and caressing her cheek.

Akira opened her eyes and looked up into Wolfric’s beautiful eyes. “I can feel him, it’s faint, but he’s in this realm, or….”

“Or the Underworld,” Wolfric and Malique said at the same time.

Akira shivered.

“Just because he’s in the Underworld doesn’t mean he’s evil,” Wolfric said with a smile.

“Yeah, he could be there because he’s a Demon,” Malique said, squeezing her against him.

“That doesn’t help,” she whispered.

Wolfric chuckled, “not all Demons are evil.”

“We should continue. The sooner we get out of the open, the better,” Malique said, looking around the wasteland.

“Come on, little one.” Wolfric took Akira’s hand and pulled her away from Malique. “Whatever your Warrior is, it is his destiny to protect you,” Wolfric said with a fake smile—he knows she is thinking about her father and how cruel he was to her mother.

“Something lives here,” Malique said as he caught up to them and walked on the other side of Akira.

Akira smiled. She sees now why a Havent has so many Warriors. The tingling in her stomach from her Warriors spread through her body. She can do anything with her Warriors at her side. A disturbing noise had her looking over her shoulder. But there was nothing there.

“Just keep moving,” Wolfric said. He took her left hand into his and squeezed it for comfort.

Akira looked up at Wolfric and nodded.

“We have you,” Malique said with a wide grin—he took her other hand and squeezed it, showing his support.

“I know,” she said, smiling up at her Vampire.

“Something doesn’t feel right,” Wolfric said, looking around them. “There is something here, but I can’t see it.”

“I can smell it,” Malique said with a nod.

“I can feel my Warrior,” Akira said as she stopped, “he’s closer.”

Her Warriors looked at her, then turned in a circle. They looked around the area that had probably once been a beautiful forest, but now it was nothing but piles of dust. The ground trembled, and Akira squealed as she almost fell on her ass. Her Warriors caught her and waited for the attack. They did not have to wait long. Out of the ground came the large head of what looked like—if a snake and Dragon had a baby.

Another head popped up and hissed at them.

“What the fuck?!” Malique yelled when he saw a third head pop up.

“What is that?” Akira asked.

The ground trembled, and another head popped up. This one struck out at them, making them jump back. Heads continued to pop up from underground, hissing and spitting at them. When nine heads were glaring and hissing at them, Akira felt her blood rush through her ears.

“Hydra,” Wolfric growled, pushing Akira behind him.
