Chapter 5 – The Chill

I felt a sudden warmth on my face. Someone had opened my curtains. Someone was in my room and had just opened my curtains. I gripped the covers to make sure my body was covered and slowly opened one eye. A man. A shirtless man. I opened both eyes just as he turned around.

“Good Morning Baby Girl”

At the mention of ‘Baby Girl,’ everything from the night before came rushing back.

“Good Morning, J,” I replied, loosening my grip on the covers. “I’m so sorry I fell asleep on you last night.” He pulled me into a hug then tackled me back onto the bed, covering my face in sweet kisses. His light sweet kisses turned to deep passionate kisses as he trailed along my jawline to my ear and down my neck. A soft moan escaped through my lips. “J. J. Jacob.”

“Yes, Baby Girl,” he pulled away and looked deep into my eyes.

“I need food before we dive into morning sex.”

He began laughing, “Of course, What does my Baby Girl want for breakfast?” He continued kissing across my chest to the opposite shoulder then up to my neck and ear.

“French Toast,” I pressed my face into his neck, mimicking the string of kisses “I” I kissed his left shoulder. “Need,” I kissed his right shoulder. “Food,” I kissed his glorious lips. I wrapped my arms around his chest and rolled the both of us over. Hovering over him, I leaned down to his ear, pressing my breasts into his face. Then whispered, “NOW!”

I skipped to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. I made a mental note to check in with Liv when I got back to my phone. I pulled my hair back up into a neat bun and walked out of the bathroom. Jacob stood there, sweatpants hanging low on his hips.

“You wanna go downstairs and grab breakfast with Taro and Olivia?”

“You read my mind.” I tiptoed up and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. I walked towards the closet when suddenly Jacob had wrapped his arms around my waist and was spinning me around.

“Do you know how crazy you make me, Baby Girl?” He sat me down and grabbed my ass. I shot him a sexy smirk and continued around to the closet.

What should I wear? I thought to myself, flipping through my outfits positive that I should have brought more. I settled on ripped denim capris and a burnt orange crop top. I tied the knot in the front of the shirt and slipped on my sandals.

“Wow! I think I’m way underdressed.” J grabbed my hand and twirled me around in a circle. This man made every one of my insecurities disappear. I didn’t stop to check my outfit; I took his compliment as fact. He held out his arm. “Would you accompany me to my room, madam?”

“Of course, handsome!”

We made it to the elevator and spotted another couple walking down the hallway. J grabbed my arm, pulled me in, and quickly pressed the close button. We only needed to go two floors, but that was plenty of time for J to ravish me. He picked me up and rested my butt on the arm rail. Then he slipped a hand under my shirt, toying with my breast while he sucked on my neck. I registered the first ding from the elevator as Jacob pressed his throbbing member against my core.

“J. Jacob!” I moaned into his neck.

The elevator dinged a second time then Jacob carried me from the elevator to his room. I didn’t look to see if there was anyone in the hallway watching. I didn’t care. I reached around to his back pocket to grab his room key and unlocked the door. J shut the door back with his foot and pressed me against the wall. We pulled back from each other, gasping for air.

“I’m so sorry Baby Girl. I know you’re hungry and here I am letting my dick lead the way.” He took a deep breath and ran his hands through his hair. “I’m just going to go take a quick shower, a very cold one, and then we’ll go down and get you some breakfast”

“But I was enjoying that,” I whined as I tossed myself onto his bed. I pulled out my phone to text Liv about breakfast.

Maddy: Did you survive last night? LOL

Liv: Barely ;)

Maddy: Wanna grab breakfast? All four of us.

Liv: Definitely. We’ll meet you at the restaurant in 10 mins.

Maddy: Perfect!

Just as I sent the last message to Liv, J walked out of the bathroom. A simple white towel wrapped around his waist, small droplets of water still running down his chest. I licked my lips, thinking we should have just had room service bring our breakfast up. Damn it, the things this man does to me. I covered my eyes childishly. “If I look at you right now, we’ll never make it to breakfast,” I giggled.

J slipped into the closet and returned wearing a pair of distressed denim blue jeans and a raglan tee. He slipped his phone into his pocket and fastened his watch on his wrist. I could tell he was running through a mental checklist then he looked at me. “You ready to go Baby Girl?”

I nodded and headed for the door. J wrapped his arm around my waist as I walked by him and kissed my head.

“Food!” I reminded him with a laugh.

The four of us arrived at the main lobby at the same time. I pulled Liv in for a hug then we headed for a booth in the restaurant. The guys ordered a huge pile of eggs, sausage, bacon, and toast. Liv and I both decided on French Toast. You’d think that the four of us were life-long friends they way we all laughed and joked. I couldn’t believe that I had been so lucky to find my perfect mate and even luckier that my best friend had too.

J’s phone dinged and his eyebrows wrinkled as he read the recent message.

“Is something wrong J?”

“Just some pack business. Taro and I are going to have to have a quick call to handle some things.” His friendly aura suddenly replaced with a chill, and he left half of his breakfast untouched. Taro gave Liv a quick kiss and apologized, then sprinted to the elevator to catch up with Jacob.

“That was weird,” Liv added before stuffing another bite of french toast in her mouth. She could feel it too; the sudden coldness in the air.

“Yeah. I guess it’s just a part of being at the top. They have a lot of responsibility.” I tried to justify Jacob’s actions. “Since the guys are off to their meeting, why don’t you and I head down to the spa for a little girl time.”

“Oh yes,” Liv squealed. “I could so use a nice facial and pedicure.”

Lying face down on the table, nothing but a folded sheet covering my behind, I moaned in pleasure as the sweet Asian woman maneuvered my muscles, releasing tension I wasn’t even aware of. The soft relaxing music filled the room. Each time I was on the verge of falling asleep, Mai would fetch me back to life by finding another knot of tension.

“Maddy, I’m so glad you had this idea. I don’t think I moaned this much last night. This is amazing!” she mumbled from her table beside me.

“I won’t tell Taro,” I giggled.

We had pedicures done first, then facials, and finished off with massages. I had checked my phone before starting our massages and still hadn’t heard anything from J. I wondered how his meeting was going...

“I don’t care how much you had to drink. You knew better. The only thing saving your damn life is the fact that I’m not there.” Jacob roared into the computer screen

“J, I’m sorry. I know I messed up.” Cameron, his youngest brother, hung his head, not wanting to make eye contact.

“Do you know how much trouble this could have caused us?” Jacob seethed, still fuming.

“Yes, I know.” Cameron glanced over to Matthew, the middle child, for help.

Matt, having a soft spot for their kid brother, decided to intervene. “Look, J, I smoothed everything over with Alpha James. The girls were all delivered safely home unharmed, and” he emphasized, “untouched.”

“Matt, you can’t keep cleaning up his messes. Going to an allied pack, picking up the highest-ranking members’ daughters, then roaming the countryside drinking and partying is unacceptable. It’s those kinds of things that could cripple our expansion plan. Cam, you know what I do with people who get in the way of our plan, right?”

“Yes, J.”

“Why don’t you tell me so that I know that you know.”
Cameron repeated a line he had memorized by now. “Anyone who gets in the way of the Alpha gets one of three fates; exile, torture, or death.”

“Exactly, now would you like to join Ethan?”

At the mention of Ethan, Matt raised his voice, “That’s enough, Jacob. He gets the picture.”

“He better,” Jacob jabbed coldly and hung up. He ran his hands through his hair. This is exactly what he needed right now, J thought sarcastically. Taro un-muted the tv as the wrestlers he was watching exchanged blows. Jacob pulled his phone out and decided to check on Maddy.

Jacob: Hey, Baby Girl. Meeting over. Where you at?

Maddy: Just leaving the spa.

Jacob: Meet me in the lobby.

The elevator doors opened, and I felt a smile spread across my face. Jacob wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close. I could feel the tension melt off of him as our bodies molded into each other.

“Liv and I were thinking that we should all go bowling. What do you think?” I looked up at J batting my eyes.

“Whatever you want, Baby Girl.” He replied with a smile.

“Perfect. I can’t wait to kick your ass,” I teased, strutting out to find J’s car.

“Oh, you think you’re going to beat me? I doubt it, Baby Girl.”

We arrived at the bowling alley and slipped on the hideous half blue, half red bowling shoes.

“Ladies first,” J motioned as he and Taro slipped into the booth.

I winked at him as I sauntered up to the lane and lined up my shot. I turned and walked back towards the booth before the ball even hit the pins, knowing I had a strike.

“What are you doing? J asked. Then his eyes widened when the pins fell. “I think I might have underestimated my opponent.”

“I told you I’d kick your ass,” I replied with a smirk. Liv stepped up and repeated, also walking away with a strike.

“So how’d you get so good at bowling? That doesn’t just happen by chance.” J leaned in and asked.

“Well, when you live in Silver Bow, your recreational options are limited,” I explained with a laugh. “Liv and I spent every Thursday night at the bowling alley. Maybe we should have gone easy on you two and started with pool or air hockey.” I placed a sweet kiss on his lips and whispered, “It’s your turn, babe.” It was no surprise when Liv and I wiped the floor with both of the boys.

We sat around the table, devouring a large pepperoni pizza. The small concession bar boasted they had the “Greatest Floats in the Midwest,” so J and I decided to split a root beer float.

“I feel like I should be wearing a poodle skirt and saddle shoes,” I giggled.

J leaned in closer and whispered, “Maybe I’ll let Taro drive, and we can play some backseat bingo on the way back to the room” with a wink.

“You guys ready to go yet?” Liv asks, placing her hands on her hips.

Jacob stood and tossed his keys to Taro, “You mind driving back? I’m feeling a little tired.”

“Mhmm,” Taro replied with a questioning eyebrow.

Jacob opened the rear door, and I slid into the back seat. Jacob pulled my body next to his. As Taro started the car, Jacob began to whisper in my ear.

“I can’t wait to get you back to my room.” He kissed my neck and trailed down to my shoulder. As his hand rubbed my thigh, he proceeded to tell me all the things he wanted to do once we were back at the hotel. “I want to carry you into the room and gently lay you down on the bed.” Chills went down my back as he began to rub lightly on the back of my neck. “Then I want to slowly undress you and let my hands explore every inch of your body. I want to kiss from your feet to your thighs then devour you.” I could already feel my body aching for him. “I want to lick and suck slowly until you are begging for me to fuck you.” A soft moan escaped my lips. “Then, when I’ve teased you enough, I’ll slowly push my dick inside you, filling up every inch of you.” Suddenly the engine cut off, and the lights came on. We were already back at the hotel.

“Goodnight,” I yelled to Liv as Jacob, and I exited the car and headed straight for the elevator. To my surprise, J stood right beside me in the elevator, holding my hand. The ride was quiet as I anticipated all the lovely things he was going to do to me. When the elevator dinged for the fifth floor, J swooped me up and carried me to his room. He opened the door and carried me to the bed and fulfilled every wish he had had in the car.
