Prologue
Proverbs 3: 5–6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own understanding; think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you.
After Jesus rose from the dead Lucifer knew that he was defeated. With the power of death and sin finally conquered Lucifer could no longer win. But Lucifer’s pride prevented him from surrendering. Lucifer pursued every possible source to weaken Christ’s influence on the planet. But the more Lucifer tried the more powerful Christ’s influence on the world became. Then Lucifer did something drastic. He thought that if he couldn’t destroy Christ then he would destroy the world. A decade after the resurrection Lucifer went looking for the evilest society he could find to do his bidding. He found what he was looking for in South America: an ancient Native American tribe that called themselves Lizards. They were more feared than any other tribe. The Lizards were known for their strength and skills in battle. Their love for torture and complete annihilation of their enemies, including women and children, make them feared. But what made them famous was their worship of reptiles.
They even sacrifice their own children to their gods. Lucifer choose the Lizards as his instruments because of their love of death and destruction. So he went to make a deal with Blackstone. Lucifer went to see Blackstone as he was lying in his bed deathly ill but not ready to die just yet. He still had enemies that he wanted to see dead. Blackstone gladly accepted Lucifer’s deal and received immortality for himself and his four sons. In return Lucifer transformed Blackstone’s entire society into what they worshipped, lizards. They stand seven feet tall, have razor sharp teeth and claws, scales stronger than steel, a powerful tail, and are stronger any man could ever hope to be. Lucifer made them serve him and made it their purpose to destroy the human race. He gave Blackstone a sword that possessed his demonic powers. The Lizards called it the Sword of Lucifer. As long as the Sword of Lucifer was in the hands of the Lizards, particularly Blackstone, no army in the world could stand against them.
God responded by choosing five clans who were strong in faith and skill. Each tribe was of a different human culture from around the world. God gave each of them special gifts and skills related to their cultures. Like the Lizards they also were changed physically. Unlike the Lizards, who are more reptilian and demonic looking, the Dogs have a human – like appearance. Many people mistake them for humans at a distance. To this day they still do not know why they were physically changed but don’t question the reason. Their faith in God is all they needed to achieve their purpose. God even gave them a special place to live called Jeremiah. The Dogs were appointed to be the guardians of the human race. They were given one purpose: to protect the human race from themselves and the Lizards.
But even the Dogs were not enough to fully defeat the Lizards. While Dogs were better trained and more dedicated the Lizards have superior numbers and the Sword of Lucifer. The Dogs were able to hold the Lizards at bay. So God created a Sword to respond to the Sword of Lucifer: the Sword of God. Like the Sword of Lucifer the Sword of God possesses the power of God. However, because it is of God it is a more powerful weapon. The Sword of God has no limit to its power. It can create as well as destroy, unlike the Sword of Lucifer that can only destroy. But the Sword of God cannot be used by just anyone. A person has to be chosen by God to possess it.
The Sword of God was first given to a man, a half Roman – half Jewish Christian outlaw, named Toronto, twenty years after the Resurrection. Toronto was being pursued by the Romans because of his faith in Jesus Christ and for playing a major role in the Christian Underground. He was rumored to be one of the best swordsmen who ever lived, and a member of the legendary Christian rescue group called the Zioners. The Zioenrs were a small group of powerful warriors dedicated to stopping the persecution of Christians by the Roman Empire. They saved thousands of Christian lives from the Romans and others who sought to destroy Christianity. He was given the Sword of God because of his faith and his pursuit for freedom, peace, and justice. During those twenty years, Toronto brought the Lizards to their knees, with lots of help from the Dogs. His actions stopped the Lizards on multiple occasions and saved countless lives. Then one day the Lizards made a march against Toronto’s sanctuary with the intent of destroying everything he loved, particularly his wife and newborn daughter. Two armies met on the field and fought for the fate of humanity. The battle was hard fought and bloody but eventually Toronto, the Zioners, and the Dogs managed to defeat the Lizards, at great cost. Blackstone’s oldest son was killed and the Lizard’s lost the Sword of Lucifer. Toronto managed to severely injure Blackstone in the war. He took the Sword of Lucifer and hid it from the world. Afterwards, Toronto retired from the life of an outlaw to live with his family.
A thousand years later, the Sword of God was called into action again. Blackstone’s oldest son, Nicholas, decided he was done hiding. Against his father’s wishes, Nicholas took over a thousand of Lizards who were loyal to him and went out searching for the Sword of Lucifer. In Africa, Nicholas found what he was looking for. The Lizards with Nicholas bowed before him and swore to destroy anything in his path. With the Sword of Lucifer in his possession, Nicholas carved a path of death and destruction across Africa. With no one to stand in their way the Dogs decided to find the someone who could use the Sword of God. A small group of elite warriors lead by one of their best fighters, Jasmine, was tasked with finding him. Their search lead them to a remote African village on the edge of the Sahara, a British/African missionary named Blake. Blake, a descendent of Toronto, was born and raised in Africa and trained to be warrior, but choose to walk the path of a missionary. But everything changed when Blake was given the Sword of God. With the help of the elite Dogs Blake pursued Nicholas and his devoted followers throughout Africa. In the following months, Blake destroyed several every Lizard group he came across, including several high value targets. In the time he also developed a strong bond with Jasmine, and were secretly married. But everything changed when Nicholas led an attack on a Christian refuge bordering the Indian Ocean. Blake and his team managed them to beat them there. There Blake decided to do something that even Jasmine wasn’t happy with. He faced Nicholas one on one while both sides watched. But in the end Blake had a deeper commitment and killed Nicholas. With Nicholas dead his army matched on to avenge their fallen master. But with the Sword of God in his possession Blake commanded the nearby sea to swallow them. Those that survived fled back Blackstone, hoping he’d take them back, only to be executed for their disloyalty. Blake took the Sword of Lucifer and hid it somewhere in Africa. He returned the Sword of God to the Dogs for them to keep until it is needed again. Blake settled down in Africa with Jasmine to live out the rest of his days.
Nearly a thousand years has gone by since the Sword of God has been needed. After Black defeated Nicholas the remaining Lizards have went into hiding. They realized that they couldn’t succeed in their goal by using warfare tactics. Their tactics changed from destruction to corruption. The Lizards have been behind in nearly every war, criminal organization, and violent act that has occurred over the past thousand years. The Dogs have been there fighting them every step of the way. In 2014 the Dogs captured a High Official Lizard and learned that they are not only still looking for the Sword of Lucifer but are close to finding it. The Dog, already possessing the Sword of God, began looking for the one who will possess it next. Several years have passed and his identity has yet to be discovered. But the Dogs have not given up hope that someday he will reveal himself to them.
