Heat of the Night: Part 2

It was Marcus, and he was standing directly behind me.

I turned my head slowly and smiled to him.

His face lit up as we locked eyes. It was an expression that reminded me of the day we first met. There was always something to Marcus’s hard exterior that I was able to see through. To most he was just another typical controlling, overzealous Alpha, but there was so much more to him.

“Wee lost pup, she needs her owner fellas. Looks like she wanted a dance with me first.” James gave Marcus a smug expression, then took a forceful step in my direction, not giving me much space to back away, but that’s when another large body appeared beside Marcus.

It was Xanos, and boy did he looked pissed, “The last thing she wants is to dance you.” He stepped forward with his hands clenched into fists. Seeing him so aggressive was starting to turn my gears, but this is exactly what I wanted.

“So James, looks like your outnumbered. What are you going to do about it?” I turned my attention to James who was in a death stare with the two brothers.

James looked to me in the same manner with his fists tightly clenched together, “You’re going to regret that little girl.”

“I’m not a little girl asshole,” I latched my hands around Xanos neck and pushed my body against him. He was caught of guard by my sudden movement, but I could tell he liked it. His hands hovered me hesitantly for a moment before lightly grazing the side of my hips. His breathing turned course, and his body dramatically got warmer the tighter I latched onto him.

I looked to James as I grinded my body hard onto Xanos, “Just remember that when you jack yourself off tonight, ALONE.”

I poked my ass out a little more, and Xanos’s hands immediately came on the side of my thighs, squeezing tightly. I let out a little moan for more production value.

James growled and breathed in heavily, “You teasing little bitch.”

“Want to die tonight?” Marcus stepped towards James with his canines barred.

James turned to him and laughed, “You’re just a cuckhold for your big brother Marcus. You going to stand for that mate?”

Much to my surprise, Marcus didn’t respond, instead, looked to his bother and smiled.

I chuckled lightly and released myself from Xanos. His hands came out to try to pull me back in, but I was too quick for his hands. I quickly centered myself between the three of them. James on one side and the two brothers on the other.

I looked up into the lights and breathed in heavily. This is the moment I was looking forward to all night.

Up close and personal.

I approached James. “Anyone is mine for the choosing, isn’t that one of the perks of being an Alpha?” My heart was beating fast. All I wanted to do was rip his heart out, kill him in everyway imaginable, but I had to hold back.

Suddenly, just as I finished speaking, something surged through me. The drugs were kicking in, and my eyes started to shake. My vision was blurred, vibrating to the beat of the music, but it wasn’t overwhelming, if anything my vision was flowing with my body.

It was an unexplainable feeling, but it felt so fucking good. My brain was being taken into overdrive with pure happiness, swimming through my body like fish travelling down stream.

The lights, if they were not bright enough, were amplified, pulsing through my retinas like pulling the drapes onto a crisp sunny day.

The deep base from the music was beating from corner to corner of the club, bouncing in my eardrums hypnotically.

My body was warming up to the point of no return, and there wasn’t enough water in the world to put out my flame.

“Kill him now and be done with this bastard.” The voice in my head began to speak. The last I spoke to her was in Japan, but I suppose the Volt was opening my connection to her more.

“Not now,” I muttered under my breath.

“Who ya talking to sweetheart? Your own product too much for you to handle? I’m experienced in that department. I can take care of you….” James’s smiled deepened as his hand came onto mine, but I pushed it away just as fast. He was being more cautious than before, but he was still an asshole.

I looked back to Marcus and Xanos who looked like they were going to tear this building down with their bare hands. I could see a glimpse of their wolves, and I wasn’t sure if I was hallucinating, but it was scary. Their teeth hung out a little more then before, and their eyes, although still darkened, looked as if they were turning red, but it was probably just the drugs.

I was seeing and hearing a lot of things that weren’t there.

I could feel their heart beats through the dance floor like it was the beat to the music, booming faster and harder as the night went on.

“You need to go home and sleep it off.” I felt Xanos’s strong hand come on my shoulder, but I immediately whipped it away.

“You have no idea how much control I have.” I pushed my body into James and smiled at Marcus and Xanos. James let out a low toned moan as he felt my body touch his.

“STAY AWAY FROM THAT LEECH,” Marcus growled.

James smirked over my shoulder, “Don’t worry, I’ll take good care of her boys.”

Just when James’s confidence was to its peak, I pushed my arms to give myself a little distance, and lifted my leg up, stiletto aiming right for the soft part of his abdomen. Once I pushed forward, his eyes shot up and he immediately stumbled backwards into the crowd.

As he regained his balance, he coldly stared at me. He didn’t say a word, instead, just watched me like a deranged psychopath. I was expecting talk back, or even retaliation, but I suppose there was nothing more he could do now.

“That was bad ass,” Marcus smirked as the three of us stared at James.

“He’s probably planning something horrible in his head right now,” Xanos said.

I turned around and playfully smiled, “Oh, I’m counting on it.”

The drugs now were in full effect. My heart was beating fast, my sensations on my skin were amplified, and my connection to my Lycan was fully open. I could feel her basking in my head right now, practically begging me to dance with them.

I turned myself around to face Marcus, placing my hand around the nape of his neck.

“Don’t start something you can’t finished.” His large hand trailed down my lower back, lightly pulling me closer into his body. He was breathing heavily, and I practically felt my body temperature spike to his touch. He leaned in closer to my face as we kept our tempo.

“Or what? You’ll bite me against my will?” I replied.

His mouth hovered closely to my neck, inhaling the very spot where he previously left his mark

“I will never forgive myself for what I did. Telling you sorry will never be enough,” He leaned in towards my ear and whispered, “I would rather die then do that to you again...”

“You betrayed me Marcus.”

“If I have to spend the rest of my life repaying you for that, so be it.”

I latched my arm around his neck and held on tightly for a moment. I still had resentment for what he did, but I couldn’t help to feel a sense of relief talking about what happened.

This was the softer side to Marcus that I originally fell in love with.

Just as my emotions were at their highest point, his warm tongue lightly trailed down my neck, around the very mark that tore us apart.

Thankfully the music was loud, because hell, I moaned.

I moaned loudly.

I pulled myself tightly to him as he softly traced his tongue on my skin. I closed my eyes for a moment, enjoying the sensations of the light sparks, but something in the back of my mind was pulling me away from it all.

It was the anger that still kept me in control.

His hand was on my lower back, but slowly, trailed closer to my ass. I quickly whipped his hand away.

“I’m surprised how contained you are considering the Volt you ingested.” His deep grizzly voice burned through my ears, sending my nerves into overdrive, but I couldn’t let myself be wooed by Marcus, no matter how good it felt, I had to be strong. This night was purely intentional, but I knew the time would come where I would have to pull away.

I wasn’t going to give them what they wanted.

That’s when his eyes went over me, to something… or someone else.

I turned my head to see Xanos hovering close by, waiting patiently to dance with me.

“COME.” I poked my ass out to signal him to come closer.

His hand came onto me like shadows in the night. All the while this was happing, Marcus was still latched onto my body. I was sandwiched between the two of them and I wasn’t going to stop quite yet.

It felt like two walls were caving in on me, and I was just a little mouse stuck in the middle of the Alpha sandwich.

My body was heating up like a fire, and on top of that my pussy was moist, practically dripping through my underwear. They probably could sense it, hell, I’m sure they could smell me, but I didn’t care.

I turned myself around. Thankfully, the two brothers weren’t pinning me too tightly against their bodies, so it was easy to maneuver between the two of them.

I place my hand behind Xanos’s neck and pulled myself closer to him. As I was holding onto Xanos, Marcus pulled onto my hips towards his while sliding his hands on my thighs.

Xanos was close, his lips, closing in on mine. He held the back of my head to hold me steady. He was always more aggressive, and I was beginning to have flashbacks of Derek’s basement, wondering where it could have progressed in a different setting. Xanos was a wild card, like a mysterious entity that sparked my curiosity. He was rough and held me steady in his grasp, but at the same time I felt so safe in his arms.

He pulled in abruptly, and his lips suddenly collided with mine like fireworks.

Our kiss immediately turned into a dance in our mouths, with our tongues swirling onto one another like it was the last day on earth. That’s when I felt Marcus pull me to the side of his body, mimicking the same move, planting his lips onto mine.

If the fireworks weren’t intense enough with Xanos, with Marcus, it was fucking dynamite. His taste, his touch, everything was just the same as before, maybe even more electrified.

Just as I was falling into a deep pit of pure Euphoria, a piece of me started to bubble up to the surface of reality.

What the hell was I doing? I came here with an agenda to show them the new me, but what was I really doing? Was it the Volt? Was it something else? Was the tea really working?

I pulled my face away and froze up. Both of their hands were still on me, trailing me up and down, but I realized that I was making a mistake. I wanted to tease them, but I wasn’t anymore.

I was fucking enjoying it.

I pushed their hands off me, and it didn’t take much of an effort. They weren’t going to force themselves on me, and their hands hesitantly pulled away.

I looked over to see James, a little closer than before, hovering nearby as he watched me dance with Xanos and Marcus. A regular man would barge out from the rejection, but not him. The pull was too strong for him to walk away now.

The three of them circled me like hungry hyenas. I was ready to walk away and be done tonight, but I wanted to show them one final piece to my outfit before making my exit.

I began unzipping my concealed zipper built underneath the front seam of my outfit. This was my finale for tonight, and I was going to imprint it on their minds for the rest of their lives.

A large smile grew on James’s face.

Xanos, and Marcus eyes widened as they saw me unzipping my outfit.

I quickly unsnapped the buttons my legs and the entire outfit began to collapse. I had it intrinsically designed to come off with ease, because what I had under neath was what I really wanted them to see.

“If you couldn’t be any sexier tonight love,” James breathed in heavily as he lightly licked his lips. “You’re making it really hard not to kill them here right in front of you.”

I wondered once I did this who would snap first. My money was on James, and it would save me lots of trouble if he broke the parley right now.

“Hunter…” Marcus growled and reached in towards me, but I quickly whipped his hand out of the way.

“That’s what you still don’t understand Marcus, ITS ALPHA NOW,” I snapped back.

“Alpha…” He looked over to Xanos, then back to me, “What the hell are you doing? This isn’t you...”

“That’s what you don’t understand. This is me.” I finally got the rest of the outfit to detach. It fell to the floor, revealing my new short, tight, silver encrusted dress.

I tried to make this as revealing as possible, showing my new body, my new curves, my body that I was embracing with open arms.

The one who stuck out the most was Xanos. I could see his large frame pulsing in and out as he veered closer towards me.

My hands patted down the tight fitted dress. It was heavier than traditional cotton, but it was thankfully light enough to conceal under my previous outfit.

James stepped back as he stared at the glimmering dress. “The fuck is this? Silver?!”

“Preventative measures!?” Marcus was breathing just as heavily as Xanos but was hesitant to come closer.

Silver to a werewolf was practically fire to the skin.

Xanos was speechless, but he continued his pace towards me, not scared of the silver that draped around my body. His eyes were shot open as he curiously watched the silver glimmer in the lights still strobing all around us.

My heart fluttered, and my legs began to shake as I looked up to him. I had bare arms, but there were silver chains dangling from the seams onto my shoulders. Xanos reached out and put his hand to the side of my arm where the chains dangled freely.

His hand slid down my arm, and I instantly could feel the heat of the burn as the silver touched his skin. There was smoke evaporating in the air from his touch, but he didn’t flinch or pull away, he just kept his eyes on me as his hand trailed further down my arm.

I quickly latched onto his hand before he burned himself more.

I pulled his hand in and looked to it. It was reddened, almost bloodied from the burn. I softly touched the burn marks as they quickly started to heal. Just as his hand started to heal, we both locked eyes.

His heart beating just as fast as mine.

Time was going at a slower rate, and in this moment, I completely forgot about everything.

Why I was here.

How I got here.

Who they were.

Where we were.

We were both just living in the moment. I brought his hand to my cheek. The tea subsided the sparks, but I could feel them starting to poke through, like they were struggling to escape the cage I trapped them in.

“There isn’t enough silver in the world to prevent me from touching you,” Xanos cupped his hand under my chin and pulled my face to his.

“Then, why did you do it?” I felt the tears starting to poke through. I couldn’t let my pack see the waterworks, but I couldn’t help but to ask the question right here and now. “Why did you kill my brother?”

“We didn’t kill him.”

I stopped moving and narrowed my eyes on him, “What are you talking about?”

“He’s not dead.”

“I – I saw the video.” My eyes widened in shock as I looked to both of them.

If this was a lie, a trick, or anyway to turn me back to their side there was going to be hell to pay.

Marcus leaned into my ear and looked up into the crowd, “You really think your mates would kill your brother? We’re monsters, but he is technically family, we would never hurt you like that.”

“It was a setup orchestrated by James.” Xanos took a step back and looked down to me as I tried process what they just told me.

My body froze. My heart was racing at its peak, but I still had my doubts. How could I believe them? Could Troy really still be alive?

Should I believe them?!

“Where is he?” I looked back to Xanos and noticed he wasn’t looking at me anymore. He was looking over the crowd of people. Something obviously caught his eye.

I turned my head to see what he was looking at. I noticed James had disappeared, but someone else was standing in his place. It was a large man by the looks of it, and his face was hidden by the darkness of the club. He was holding a handgun by his side, breathing heavily as he watched me, then he slowly raised the gun to Marcus.

“What the hell is the meaning of this?!” I stepped forward to see who the strange man was lurking in the shadows.

“I thought James would snap first, but it looks like you’re willing to break her own parley tonight.” Xanos quickly stepped in front of me, blocking my view to the man. “So tell me, does watching her make her own decisions drive you completely insane? Don’t you think she is fully capable of choosing how she spends tonight, considering how much she has accomplished over the past year? It’s a shame your about to destroy what she’s worked so hard for.”

Marcus stepped in mimicking the same movement as Xanos, but with much more force and aggression, like he was ready to lunge at the man.

“Are you seriously going to jeopardize her pack because of a fucking dance?! Looks like you’re the one with no control asshole!” He snarled at him, but the man continued holding the gun in place.

Once the dancing crowd surrounding us caught view of the handgun, most started to scatter away like mice fleeing the seen.

I pushed my way in front Xanos and Marcus to get a better view, and that’s when I caught eyes of the familiar stranger.
