When Scar stepped inside the starroom, she saw that her starmates were sitting on their proper stardesk. Scar hated that. Her color was black, and people used to make fun of her when she was younger. They'd say that if she had a dull color, she had a dull starsoul.
As she walked to her stardesk, and she felt eyes on her. She placed her stuff inside the stardesk, and her starbooks started glowing. As everyone else's was. She took her seat, hesitantly, and when she made contact with it, it turned black. She took out her black assigned starbook, as a distraction, and started doodling on it. Avoiding eager stares from others.
Once every stardesk was full, the teacher called starattendance.
"Lily, Astra, Gemma, Clover, Emerald, Crystal, Piper, Vega, Tessa, Sage, Adora, and Scarlet?"
"Present!" everyone yelled except for Scar, too busy to mind the teacher.
"Scarlet?" the teacher asked, glowing yellow eyes staring right towards her.
"Present." Scar said, in a small voice.
It wasn't like her to be so quiet.
"I'm Professor Lucretta Delphin," She said, "I'm pleased to starmeet you girls!"
She kept talking.
"As you all might know, we are going to be learning about a different star-technology that was discovered." She clears her throat, "I'm so glad to be teaching here for y'all."
"Please, take out your favorite holo-book, and place it on your desk."
Scar took out her favorite holo-book of all, 'Dead Starcity'. Scar loved a good mystery and action holo-book. She always had it with her. And if there was a time she didn't, was in Physical Energy (PE).
She opened it, and flipped to the 'Starduction'.
"Hmm," Professor Lucretta stopped next to Scar's stardesk, "I see a lot of good holo books, but none as good as Scarlets'..."
"A mystery, right?" She asks.
"And an action." Scar added, with a grin on her face.
She was content that her favorite holo-book was getting attention.
"Could I, perhaps use your holo-book as an example?" Professor Lucretta asked her.
"Sure," Scar agreed. "I don't mind..."
The star bell rang, clearly stating that it was the end of the class.
"Class dismissed." Professor Lucretta said.
Everyone headed out of the class except for Scar.
"And about my holo-book," Scar grabbed her starbag, "Don't let anything happen to it."
"No worries!" Professor Lucretta smiled, aware of Scar's warning.
