Chapter 10

I was actually excited to go to school today. School meant I got to see my mate. My wolf wagged his tail happily in my head. He adored our mate already. Brandon and Landon said I did great with training this weekend. I focused and took them both down easily. I wanted to be at my best for my mate. You could feel her power radiating off of her. I know she could hold her own, but my wolf and I wanted to be the ones to protect her.
I was putting my bag in my locker, when I smelled her rose scent. My wolf became more and more excited. Aisha looked breathtaking as always. She wore a button down black long sleeved shirt with a white undershirt and black leggings. She always had her hair down, but I loved her hair whatever way she had it. She had her gaze down as she approached me. Before I could say anything, she wrapped herself in my arms and buried her head in my chest. I could tell something was really bothering her. My wolf whimpered and layed down with his head on his paws. He didn't like her upset either.
"What's wrong, babe?" I gently rubbed her back.
"Is Mrs. Randall a werewolf?" She whispered.
"Yeah, why?" Aisha raised her head and looked me in the eyes. Her eyes looked red from crying and had deep bags under them.
"Can you mindlink her that we won't be in class, but we'll make it up today after school or something? I don't want my dad to find out or your parents, that we skipped another class. Please?" More tears formed in her eyes. I stroked her cheek and she leaned into my touch. I quickly mindlinked Mrs. Randall. I took her hand and we hurried out the back doors. I took her to the field. There was no first period gym class. I led her up the bleechers to the press box. It was quiet, with no one around. There were four office-like chairs, that were tucked under the table, facing out to the field. I pulled out a chair and sat down. Aisha dropped her bag and sat on my lap, straddling me. She buried her face into my chest again and cried. I wrapped my one arm around her and stroked her back with my other one. After awhile, she layed her cheek on my chest and looked out, not really starring at anything. I stroked her hair.
"I wish we could fly away, Aaron. Just leave and never turn back." Aisha raised her head and looked at me. Her eyes were so red and puffy from crying. Her eyes swirling.
"I know you can't just leave because you're the next alpha." I stroked her cheek.
"And you're my luna." She smiled and looked at me.
"Your pack probably won't accept me as their luna. I'm a witch. I'm not like you." I cupped her face. My wolf snorted in my head.
"I don't care what they think. The Moon Goddess paired me with you. To love, honor and cherish you. No one else. If they can't accept that my mate, their luna, is a witch, then they can leave the pack. I don't care at this point. I will never reject you. You are my life, Aisha. There will never be anyone else, anymore." My wolf nodded his head and sat proudly. More tears fell down her cheeks. I wiped them away with my thumbs.
"My life isn't that simple Aaron. My dad has other plans for me. To benefit the coven. I..." She put her hands on my wrists and cried. I pulled her to my chest and held her tight.
"Shh, it's going to be ok, Aisha. We'll get through it together." She shook her head and looked at me again.
"It's not going to be ok, Aaron." She showed me her left hand. There was a silver band on her ring finger.
"My dad forced me to be engaged to someone else. He said..." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "He said it's to strengthen the covens. To blend them together to form a bigger unit against...werewolves." I was shocked and my wolf whimpered loudly in my head. "I don't want Caine. I don't want to marry him. I hate him so much, Aaron. I want you. Only you."
"Then don't marry him, Aisha. Marry me. I will forever protect you." She cried and shook her head.
"It's not that easy. My dad is very powerful, Aaron. He would never let me go to marry you. I can't even take this stupid thing off. Caine stuck some for spell on it that won't let me take it off. I tried every spell I could think of. I can't get it off." She rested her forhead on mine. My wolf paced back and forth in my head. He wanted to tear this Caine apart for even thinking that Aisha was his. She was ours.
"We will figure something out, Aisha. I will never give up on you. On us."
"I'm nothing but problems, Aaron. You could do so much better then me." My wolf growled at that.
"No one is better then you. No one else can make my heart flutter everytime I'm near you, or even thinking of you. Which, by the way, is all the time." She smiled at that. "You are my heart, Aisha. Until my last breath and beyond this life. I am yours. Mind, body and soul." She leaned down and kissed me full of love. I tightened my hold on her and pressed her as close as I could against me. She deepened the kiss and wrapped her arms around my neck. My wolf purred in delight.
"Make love to me, Aaron."
