Chapter 17

When I woke up, I knew I wasn't with Aaron. I was in my father's dungeon's. The sour stench of death and torture permitted my nostrils. I was tied by chains to the wall. Like a dog on a leash. A new silver choker around my neck and wrist's.
"Finally awake, whore? Did you really think you could escape me? I mean, you might've if your precious wolf-boy didn't take the choker off. You forget that I can find you, no matter where you try to hide from me." My father stood up from the chair he was sitting on and came over to me.
"And that stunt you pulled with Caine? Don't think I didn't hear about that. But don't worry. Caine will be here shortly. We discussed what your punishment will be. He is only too happy to be the one to give it to you. You'll think twice, next time you try to run away from the coven." I looked up into his eyes as he came closer.
"What did I ever do to you that caused you to hate me so much?" He laughed and spit at me.
"Hate you? I made you into who you are for fuck sake."
"What are you going to do with me?"
"Do with you? You're going to be my means to an end." I looked at him confused.
"What do you mean?"
"You are going to finish what I started. A way to bring down those disgusting werewolves."
"What are you even talking about?" He walked around me and laughed.
"You are going to bring down the werewolves. One pack at a time. Until there are no more werewolves around. And we will rule the human's. As it should have always been."
"You're insane! I'll never help you." He grabbed my chin and pulled me forward.
"Oh, but you will. Or your precious werewolf boy will be the first to be killed. Right infront of you." Tears formed in my eyes. I was going to say something, but Caine came into the cell. My father laughed and let me go.
"I think I'll let Caine here dish out your punishment. Have fun, my boy." He laughed and walked out. Caine smiled evily at me and came over to me. He knelt down and grabbed a fistful of my hair, forcing my head closer to his.
"I'm going to have fun with you. You're mine. And I'm going to make sure you don't forget it this time."

When I woke up, Aisha was gone. I didn't know where she went. I looked everywhere. Her scent was only in the bedroom. She must have teleported out. But why? Why leave me? Did she not think we could keep her safe? My pride was hurt by this. My wolf kept denying it. Saying something didn't feel right.
"Are you sure she didn't pass by you?" I asked Jarod. He slept on the recliner near the door last night.
"I'm sure. We should find her though. Do you know where she lives? Perhaps her dad saw her or knows where she went."
"That's just it. I don't know where she lives. She never told me. I don't think she wanted anyone to know where she lives."
"Let's go back home and talk to the girl's. Maybe one of them knows something."
We locked up and headed out. Two hours later we reached the pack. I decided to try Ava first.
"Aunt Ariel, is Ava home?" She was sitting on the porch having coffee with Amelia.
"No, she stayed at Elizabeth's house. They were going to get ready for the dance there." I had forgotten all about the dance. My main focus is getting Aisha back to me and keeping her safe.
We left there and quickly went over to Liz's house. Her car was gone.
"This day just keeps getting better and better!" I slammed my fist down on Jarod's truck. It made a dent in the side.
"Dude, seriously? I understand you're frustration but don't take it out on Jema." I raised my brow at him.
"You really named your truck Jema?" He was trying to pop the dent out.
"Yea, so? She's my girl." I rolled my eyes at him.
'Ava, where the hell are you!!' I yelled through mindlink.
'At the beauty shop. What's your problem, Aaron?'
'I need to find Aisha. Do you know where she lives?'
'No, she never told any of us.'
'I was going to see if her father knew where she could be.'
'I'm not sure thats a good idea. From the way she talked about him to me, it doesn't sound like he's all too friendly. And you do know her coven pactices black magic, don't you? It's not safe to cross their lands.'
'I don't care. Aisha is in trouble and I have to find her.'
'Just be careful and be safe. If you need anything, let us know.'
'Will do. Love ya cuz.'
'Love ya too, weirdo.'
I closed the link and hopped back into Jarod's truck. He was trying to hack into the school files on his laptop.
"Any luck?"
"Just about. There, got it. About an hours drive from the school."
"Why that far?" Jarod looked at me like I was stupid for asking that.
"Obviously something's up with her coven. You do know she is the only witch in our school right?"
"Her coven practices black magic. Ava said that Aisha didn't talk good of her father. That he probably isn't a friendly or good guy. So, I understand if you don't want to go with me to find her."
"Are you kidding me? You're my brother/alpha to be. I'm your beta to be. Whatever you get into, count me in. Plus, Aisha's my best friend. She's like the sister I never had. Of course I'm going with to find her." I nodded my head and looked out the window, as Jarod started the truck and headed out.
'Hang in there, my love. Wherever you are.'
