This story is a medieval fantasy set in a cold mountainous kingdom in a time long ago. What makes this story so different is that our main character is a prince born a demigod. He is destined to be king, although he hates the idea of being chained to a throne. He is a trouble maker, picks fights, is rarely happy, and is continuously tested throughout the story. His older brother wants him dead so he may take the throne and is willing to whatever it takes, including murdering their father and siblings to take the crown for himself. Sebastian is not your typical sword-wielding hero. He is argumentative and angsty, but his weakness is his love for the men he gets close to. He is gay and willing to do whatever he must to protect his lovers from becoming victims of war.
