Waiting by the Willow
Hi everyone! I just want to start off by saying a big thank you for clicking on this story! It is very much appreciated and I am so glad you are here! I hope you all enjoy this book, it is very special to me and I think it is somewhat different than others!
Just to start off, I think it is important you have some background info. This story takes place in the early 2000's in Greenwich, Connecticut. I also think it is important that you know this book will follow the main character as she grows up. The story starts off when she is 17 but will follow her as she grows old. There are about 3 main characters, but the supporting characters are just as important to the story :) All characters have a reason why they act they way they do, but some take more time than others to show why that is. The first main character Willow Rose Crestman, also known as Willow, is very quiet and reserved. She likes meeting new people, but she is not as social as her brother and sister. Her character develops in many different ways throughout the story, but you’ll have to keep reading to find out how ;) Next up is Pearl Ivy Crestman, who normally goes by Pearl. She is Willow’s younger sister. She is the most social out of their whole family and loves connecting with people of all different ages and backgrounds. Her character becomes more and more complex as the story continues on, as she continues to experience different events that shape and change her life. Henry Stratford takes a bit of time before he is introduced into the story, but when he comes into the story, he is here to stay! He comes to Connecticut one day and meets Willow when she least expects it. He is different than most people she has met, but with everything she has gone through before meeting him, she has to learn how to let him into her life slowly.
I hope you all enjoy this story and at some point can connect with a character or relate to what they are going through. Feedback is welcomed and very much appreciated! I love interacting with people on here so feel free to leave comments! Enjoy the story and have a great day! :)
