Dedications

SUNBURST

Is dedicated to my sweet, sweet mum Helen Teresa Nelson who is no longer with me, she died when I was two years old of Scarlet Fever. I never knew her but feel I know her through my poetry. Mum you will never be forgotten, you remain in my heart. I love you and this is not just for me but for you too. And also to my father who I never knew either, but there is an indication within these genes that maybe just maybe he was a writer, or connected with the Arts.

FIRE BENEATH THE WINGS

This fire that burns

Flames so hot

That scares me not

The flames so hot

A fire

Burning, scorching, sweltering and searing

Around my body

Powerful

Controlling

Formidable

Feeling

Yet it is not burning

By body

The flames are flickering

Dancing, curling, swirling

Elevating and upraising

The flames

Through mind

Body and soul

A peaceful serenity

The stillness, the quietness and the calmness

All around

Wings unfurled

Raised to the heavens

Golden, golden

Transparency

Transparently

Eyes fixed to the sky

Golden stardust, golden stars

As far as can be seen

Arms outstretched

This body transfixed, mesmerized

Spellbound, hypnotized

I cannot resist, desist

Nor will I resist

This powerful energy

This fire

Does no harm

Here I stand in

Complete

Composure

Poised

Sang-froid

Cool

Calm

Collected

And at peace

NancyRichFoster: This second book of the Anmah Series was as awesome as the first story, I disagree with spare runner. The names were ordinary names with different spellings, which I for one loved. I am now going to read the third book in this amazingly awesome story!

Diana Chernenko: I liked this book. Even if the idea of book isn't so new. "girl that should save the world with her super powers." sometimes I thought that she is too overpowered, and I was sometimes really annoyed by her, and felt sorry for her friends and Derek. Moreover I didn't like first chapters when the...

Nanasha: I thought I'd written a comment on this story, but for some reason, I guess it didn't go through. Anyway, so this story is intensely addictive.
