Prologue

It hurt every time he took a step as the rough road was filled with glass and other man-made items, cutting his bare feet as his shoes were worn down but over time he didn't feel or mind it, his deep purple and red eyes a haze squinting trying to see where the road leads too, but all there were was miles of grass-huffing as he walked on using all the strength he had to hold on to the rapier at his side.

Even though his mouth was dry, he swallowed trying to suffice his hunger, and as the sun goes down, he tries to find a place to sleep in the tall grass.
