Done, forever

Lucienne

I wake up when Mags wiggles on my chest. He's still asleep but he's starting to stir. We got about four hours of sleep but I still feel groggy.

I lay still, rubbing his back softly until he wakes up.

We walk quietly down the hallway. I hope Sorsha got some sleep. When I come into the kitchen she's sitting at the counter drinking coffee.

When she sees me her face breaks into a huge smile. They got her.

I set Mags down on his wobbly legs. Sorsha and I hug tightly. I can't help the huge sigh of relief that bursts through me. If things had gone poorly she wouldn't look so happy.

"Everyone is alright?"

"Everyone is alright. Bea has some injuries and they drugged her up pretty good but she's ok. They'll be home soon."

I pull my phone off the counter and cringe when I see the missed calls.

"He had Elijah call me," she smiles, "he knows you were sleeping with Magnus."

I let out a relieved breath. I'm mad at him but I would never ignore his calls while he's out on a dangerous mission.

A car door slams outside and I tears spring to my eyes. I feel overwhelmed. He's safe. They saved Bea and he is safe. I'm still hurt that he seems to so easily push me aside but I don't care right now. All I can focus on is his smell, growing closer every second. He made is home.

The front door opens and Elijah walks in, followed by Cole.

He looks exhausted but I don't see any visible injuries.

A man steps in behind him, carrying a girl I recognize from photos to be, Bea. She appears groggy and bruised but alright overall.

I don't move. I feel glued to my seat.

"Luci," he says softly before moving quickly across the room.

He pulls me against his chest and we hold onto each other.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. This is the last time I'm going to fuck up, I won't need to tell you that again. I know you're tired of hearing it. I'm choosing you, right now, first and foremost. I'm done, baby, forever."

"D-Done with what?"

"I'm done with missions, no more traveling, no more danger. I'm done. I never thought I would find you and now that I have...I'm not spending so much time away from you, in dangerous situations."

"Cole... I..." I don't know what to say. "You don't know how much it means to me that you would do this for me, for us, but...I don't want you to give up something so important, not for me. I want you to be happy, to have everything you want. We can make it work, I just need you to let me be a part of it. I don't want you to resent me..."

"Baby, you're misunderstanding. I'm done," he holds my face in his hands, "I don't need that to have everything. I've done that, for twenty years, I want to be here, with you."

"He's going to take over level four training," Elijah says with pride shining in his eyes.

"You...this is already official?"

"I won't resent you. It's time for a change. I want to be here with you, full time. I might still coordinate if Elijah needs it but I'll do it remotely, from here. I'm officially grounded," he says with a huge smile on his face.

I don't know what to say. I want to laugh and cry simultaneously. I can't believe he's done this.

He pulls me tightly against his chest, leaning down to speak quietly to me. "I don't ever want you to feel like I don't truly, madly, completely love you. I waited so long for you, I'm not wasting our time being gone all the time."

I grab his scruffy chin and bring his lips to mine.
"I was so worried about you," I whisper against his mouth.

"I know, but I'm home now, for good."

He takes my hand gently and leads me toward the door.
"I guess we'll meet you later," Leo calls after us. I barely hear laughing as he pulls me out of the house.

I have to jog to keep up with his fast pace.
"We need to get a house, we can't stay in the packhouse much longer," he seems like he's thinking out loud.

He stops me and grabs me, gripping my thighs and holding me against his chest.
"How do you feel about all this?"

"As long as it's what you really want, I am thrilled to have you home all the time. Enough danger, I want you safe, with me."

"It is what I really want."

"Me too," I whisper.

"There is something else I really want, " his voice is hoarse.

I feel him beneath me, I know exactly what he wants.

"What's that?" I bite my lip and bat my lashes, and his chest vibrates.

He doesn't say anything, just starts moving quickly, closing the distance between us and the packhouse in no time.

"I missed you," I whisper into his neck as he pins me to the wall.
"I missed you, so fucking much. I thought about you the whole time. All I could think about was coming home to you, to holding you and loving you."
I rub my fingers over his mark and he groans.
He turns abruptly, carrying me into the bathroom. He sets me down quickly and starts the shower.

"Get naked," he groans as he pulls his shirt over his head. I quickly strip my clothes off, anxious for what I know is coming.
Once I'm naked, he's on me, his mouth attacking mine, our teeth and tongues clashing as we try to get closer. He lifts me and carries me into the shower, pinning me to the cool tile.

"I can't wait, Luc, I need you now," he groans, his swollen length rubbing between my legs. His voice is desperate, needy. I can feel him through the bond, the love and desire seeping from him, from every pore.
Instead of answering I lean forward and lick his mark.

"Fuck," he hisses, his hips jutting forward again.
His eyes never leave mine as he pushes into me slowly, stretching me around him.

"I love you, I love you... fuck... I love you," he chokes as his hips push against mine. I bury my face in his neck, breathing in his scent.

"I love you," I cry as he rolls his hips, slowly pulling back and pushing forward, every inch of him sliding inside of me.

"I'm sorry I made you think I didn't want you, that I didn't let you in. I want everything, Lucienne. I want you and a house and babies. I want a real life with everything," his voice is soft and desperate. He's holding my hips so tightly that I'm sure there will be bruises but his pace is slow, loving.

"I want that too. I want a whole life with you," I whimper against his neck.

He pulls back slightly, looking in my eyes as we peak together.
